• Cox (5/5): - Nice hotel, clean room and spacious. I left my phone charger in the hotel, even though I made contact on a few occasions. Nobody got back to me, to let me know if they could send the charger back to me. I would have been happy to pay for this service. A little disappointing.
• Matheus Ishiguro (10/5): - A localização é muito boa!! Mesmo para aqueles que querem conhecer os estádios de futebol da cidade, este é um ótimo lugar! Conseguimos pegar ônibus praticamente na frente do hotel o que ajudava muito! Além disso, o tamanho do quarto e do banheiro são muito bons. O quarto fica em cima de um PUB, mas que meia noite encerra o expediente e não tem nenhum barulho. No banheiro a gente toma a ducha dentro de uma banheira a qual não descia a água tão rápido fazendo com que juntasse um pouco de água. Mas isso não atrapalha nem um pouco a estádia.

It is above a bar, so if you want peace and quiet its not for tou. If you want a bit of craic, its a great place. We were looked after. No issues. No issues.

Room was spacious and clean and beds where comfortable No tv channels so had to watch YouTube, noise from the bar was loud in the room but stopped around 11 this was a Friday and after that was silent until the window cleaner woke us up at 7am on a Saturday morning
• Maria Stella (9/5): Comodo, centrale, tipico ... ottima scelta! - L'hotel si trova in una posizione strategica , in centro e a due passi da Albert Dock e Liverpool 1 bus station. Le camere si trovano al secondo piano di un antico stabile (senza ascensore) sopra il tipico pub "The Slaughter House" , dove si fa il check in e c'è la possibilità di lasciare le valigie in custodia se si arriva in anticipo (grazie!) La nostra camera era ampia, con l'affaccio interno , letto king size comodissimo, bagno essenziale con ampia doccia. Colazione inglese al pub a metà prezzo a chi risiede in hotel, quindi molto conveniente. Nelle sere che al pub suonano dal vivo, si sente la musica in camera, personalmente non mi ha disturbato ma invogliato a scendere! Se dovessi tornare a Liverpool alloggerei ancora qui, senza dubbio! Manca una seconda sedia/poltrona e gli appendini nel bagno, la camera non viene rifatta ogni giorno ma per me non è stato un problema.

The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and the pillows were luxurious. Nothing that can be helped, just a few steps to get to the room.

Staff were very friendly and helpful The rooms are over the slaughter House pub, great pub with live music. We stayed Friday and Saturday and were out til 12, we could hear the music but it didn't bother us. Hotel gave us ear plugs. Location is fantastic, great restaurants (San carlo and tiger Rock) around the corner Lovely pubs - baby temp'l- excellent barman Alex from Dublin. We were over for the grand national, got an Uber to the track, but James street train station is around the corner.

Very very noisy, pub underneath even using the provided earplugs could still feel the bass vibrate. When the music stopped still very noisy outside which finally quietened in the early hours to then be woken by the bottle bins being emptied.

• Colgan (9/5): Great location and excellent value for the price we paid,will definitely be back - Great location.Half price breakfast in the Slaughterhouse was a nice addition Arrived late evening and had to collect keys at nearby pub as check in was up till 7pm.Not a huge issue and was dealt with efficiently after telephone call.It did however cause a little uncertainty as we were depending on flight times and public transport to get us there before the aforementioned pub closed.

• Liz (8/5): Excellent place to stay to experience the best of Liverpool - Very clean room and shower room. Comfortable beds. Staff were very helpful. Hotel is very central and is a short walk to Liverpool’s main attractions. Room was up lots of stairs so you need to be in reasonable health to negotiate them. Live music in the pub below meant we couldn’t sleep till it finished (around 12:30 am) but after that all was quiet. I gather live music is on Fridays & Saturdays.

She was so welcoming & made our stay more enjoyable & perfect. Will definitely be returning. The room was very clean, large & had all the essentials needed. Absolutely nothing!

The locatio - The location is fantastic Excellent price Friendly staff Excellent food and drinks Really great value for money We have stayed in room 5 both visits, noticed there was a lot of black mould in the shower on this stay The tv was not connected to WiFi on arrival, when we went back to our room late in the evening we had to connect it to the free WiFi which kept dropping out of service while watching tv.

We staying over to watch Everton play and it’s a near as you could reasonably expect to be. Nice easy 20 min walk. We used the on downstairs and the prices and food were great. We literally had the best time. No negative things to say.
