• Stephen (8/5): Fabulous bed, close to harbour, but lots of 'rules' - Bed and pillows incredible. Owner wonderful and informative. Excellent air conditioning, which cleverly (or annoyingly !!) turns itself off every time you open the door or window. Everything spotlessly clean. Decent sized balcony, although roadworks (May 2026) weren't fun to watch (but that's not the owners fault). Special flannels to take off makeup were a nice touch. Very close to the waterfront and restaurants. Very nice free hot drinks area, but only between 9am and 6pm. There were lots of notes and 'rules' about what to do and what not to do. None of them were a problem at all, we agreed with pretty much everything, but if you like a cosy relaxed laid back atmosphere, this place is probably not for you!! Would have liked to be make use of the free coffee and tea after 6pm, or before 9am. There is no kitchen area at all, other than a kettle and tea and coffee. It looks like there used to be a microwave, but now there is a note saying "strictly no cooking allowed". But you can order food in, or bring food back as there are plates, bowls, cutlery and a decent fridge. Not quite a hotel, and not really self catering. But saying all that, we did enjoy the stay a lot....the bed really was amazing !!

The highlight of the trip was the reception greeted me with a smile everyday, always live and full of energy and full of useful information about MALTA. The spiral stairs were a bit hard to navigate but there is a lift so thats just me being picky

• Annalisa (10/5): Isola ricca di tante bellezze, naturali, storiche, artistiche, gente ospitale, buona anche la cucina - La struttura per la sua categoria è ottima,tutti molto gentili, in particolare la manager della struttura è molto molto ospitale, non solo gentile, ci tiene che i suoi ospiti visitino e apprezzino l’isola, suggerisce itinerari, luoghi, spiagge ristoranti che valgono la pena di essere visitati. È il secondo anno che torniamo a Malta, sempre all’Oriris. Non ho niente di cui non essere soddisfatta.

• Rafal (9/5): Dobre miejsce na kilkudniowy pobyt na Malcie - Budynek po generalnym remoncie, pokój i łazienka spełniły nasze oczekiwania. Nakładka na łóżka łącząca dwa pojedyncze łóżka była dla nas zbyt miękka, więc budziliśmy się z bólem pleców. (to rzecz indywidualna). Czysta biała pościel, dobrej jakości ręczniki, sympatyczna, pomocna dziewczyna w recepcji. Blisko do portu, pobliskich kawiarni i restauracji. Dla nas była to bardzo dobra lokalizacja dla naszych codziennych wycieczek. (mieliśmy wypożyczony samochód). Brak kieliszków do wina w pokoju.

Pas de stress pour accéder à l'hôtel parce que la réception ferme ou autre. Nettoyage parfait tous les jours. Respect du "Do not disturb" Même à distance : l'hôtel est parfaitement géré. Je les ai contacté un soir après 20h pour des bruits de travaux. Ils ont tout de suite réagis et m'ont donné l'explication dudit bruit. tout cela en 15min. Rien à dire

A general comment for Malta visitors: Check with your favourite hotel if there are road works / construction sites or house renovations in the neighbourhood…☝️…we noticed everywhere these kind of works in Malta (Gozo seems quieter) and if you are sensitive to noise starting at 7 am till approximately 6 pm you need to find the right spot…😉.

The kitchenette was highly convenient and greatly facilitated our dining needs—a brilliant concept. Daily housekeeping was excellent, and the reception service was flawless! There were some roadworks right outside the hotel, but that is just temporary. After all, there are roadworks happening all over Malta since it is an old country that needs maintenance, so it didn't bother us

• Margaret (10/5): Lovely, relaxing, enjoyable stay in great accomodation. Would definitely recommend - Self check in was smooth and very easy. The accommodation itself was spotless and we had everything we needed and more. Lovely touch everyday of different little biscuits/treats etc left. Dyna was charming and very helpful, easy to access either in person or by text. Location of the accommodation was excellent. The town had lots of lovely restaurants- was very quiet in the evenings. We used Uber to get around outside of Marsaxlokk, and the prices were very reasonable. The current roadworks around the property which Dyna had no control over but she managed it very well. Zu Zeit ist da eine Baustelle in der Nähe aber wir würden von Personal bei Buchung informiert und gefragt ob wir uns sicher sind also Top Nicht .
• Jon (9/5): - Most things were great. The room, bed, bathroom etc were all very comfortable. The food was delicious. The help and advice from the staff was outstanding and their communications were excellent. Location of course was great, just a couple of streets behind the harbour front. There was some roadworks outside which was beyond the hotel's control. Also it wasn't easy to get a good coffee outside of the waiting area's hours (which has a good fresh coffee machine) - however this is my personal preference, and neither point would stop me visiting again or recommending to others.

There was construction underway, which is out of the hotel's control. They supplied ear plugs and also provided a discount voucher for a nearby restaurant.
• Sara (8/5): Bella esperienza - La struttura è nuova e molto accogliente. Le camere spaziose e con tutti i comfort. Presente anche un angolo per fare colazione con lavandino. Lenzuola e asciugamani cambiati ogni giorno. Rispetto a quello che volevamo visitare è leggermente lontano dalle attrazioni principali ma con un’auto o semplicemente i mezzi pubblici puoi raggiungere tutto con semplicità.

Tutto il personale è molto attento alla cura del benessere dell'ospite. La struttura è molto elegante e sempre pulita. Bed was very comfortable and shower water pressure was great. Location is perfect for those staying in Marsaxlokk. Nothing.

• Fernando (9/5): Totalmente recomendable, repetiría sin dudarlo - La ubicación es muy buena en el pueblo, muy cerquita de la zona turística y a poca distancia del parking público. La habitación estupenda, espaciosa, una cama grande y comodísima. Todo muy limpio. El acceso al hotel y habitación muy cómodo, sin necesidad de llaves. A la llegada te ofrecen botellas de agua y un snack de bienvenida, algo muy de agradecer pero además el resto de días te incluyen un snack nuevo. todo un detallazo!!! En la habitación también hay menaje para desayuno con un hervidor de agua y cafe soluble. Si vuelvo a Malta repetiré sin dudarlo. Lo único que cambiaría es el horario de la disponibilidad del café para desayuno, comienza a las 9 y si sales antes para visitar ciudades, no puedes desayunar en el hotel.

• Trip Tepal (3/5): Nice room, but avoid for now unless you have plans that start at 7am everyday. - The room was exactly as pictured and feels very modern, which makes sense given the property is only three years old. The fixtures and fittings are well-maintained and still look relatively new. Located in a residential neighborhood, the area seems like it would be quiet, though ongoing roadworks made it difficult to confirm this during my stay. The digital entry system was seamless, and I appreciated the in-room amenities, including a fridge, complimentary water, and coffee. With a comfortable (possibly memory foam) mattress, effective A/C, blackout curtains, and universal EU/UK sockets, the room is very well-equipped for a restful stay. Upon arrival, it was clear the room had not been cleaned thoroughly, as I found long hairs on the floor. More concerning, however, was the significant lack of transparency regarding the major roadworks directly outside the property. These works began daily at 7:00 AM, creating a level of noise and dust that rendered my balcony, for which I paid a premium, completely unusable. I was not notified of these disturbances prior to booking, nor was I informed about the resulting impact on nearby parking. While I appreciate that the staff were apologetic, guests should be notified of such predictable and disruptive events before payment is made. Given that these works have been ongoing for over a week, the failure to disclose this information is unacceptable. The roadworks are still there when I left on 24th April. As another reviewer has suggested, either the hotel needs to offer rooms at a significant discount with full disclosure, or close for the duration of the works. No hotel should mislead like this and take paying guests money knowingly.

El fet que estigui una mica apartat del carrer principal, dóna al lloc més tranquilitat. No sabria destarcar res negatiu de l'habitació ni de l'hotel en general. Només que ka segona nit, a l'habitació del costat semblava que estaven fent una mudança fins passada la mitjanit, inclús van trucar a la meva porta i semblava que hi habia un intent d'obrir-la.

This whole area is super quiet too. You can drop your luggage as early as you like and can leave it until 1800 on check out day. Absolutely nothing. It was great.

Aber eigentlich hätte das Hotel für die Zeit der Straßenarbeiten schließen müssen... !! Das war unzumutbar.

• Hugo (8/5): - Good location, clean room and bathroom. The room had TV and a small fridge and sink, in the morning there's a complimentary coffee machine available for customers. Access was easy with door codes and maps and info on the area available at the entrance and more info can be provided by the host. Bags/suitcases can be left after check out at the reception. As in many B&Bs or hostels, the bed was too soft for me, but thats a personal preference.

• Barbara (10/5): Tökéletes hotel - Maga a hotel nagyon jó helyen van; közel van a tengerparthoz, a busz megállóhoz, éttermekhez és az élelmiszer bolthoz is. A szobák gyönyörűek, a tisztaság és a kényelem kifogástalan. A személyzet mindig kedves és csodás program ajánlatokat kaptunk mindennap ami nagy segítség hiszen temérdek lehetőség közül lehet választani és nem akartunk semmit sem kihagyni. Ez volt a második alkalom, hogy itt szálltunk meg máltai utazásunk során és -mint ahogy az első alkalommal- most is minden tökéletes volt, csak ajánlani tudjuk.
