• Anna Marie (10/5): Enjoyable short break & we would certainly recommend this apartment & friendly owner & hope to return again - Beautiful situated apartment with French doors to an outside patio area with a view of the Mourne mountains.There was a side gate from the courtyard in the apartments to the main street in Newcastle & just a few minutes walk to the promenade. There was apartment was dog friendly & our dog enjoyed the outside space & regular walks along the promenade. Many of the businesses close by were dog friendly

• Elizabeth (8/5): Great apartment if you’re not planning on being in a lot. Central location, comfortable and warm with adequate facilitie - The property was very central for the main part of Newcastle. I felt that the towels and the dish towels could have been upgraded. We only had one towel each and no hand towel for showering. One hand towel for 3 night. The dish towel was really grubby and could only find one, again for 3 nights this wasn’t really ideal.

• Stephen (10/5): The perfect stay - We had a lovely stay my wife and I in Michael's appointment, beautiful, clean, at a fantastic location and everything you need for a comfortable stay and Michael is a complete gentleman!! from booking the appointment everything was well detailed about our stay from Michael, with emails explaining everything and he called round to see us to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed and we had a great chat together, definitely 💯 the place to stay if you want to spend a bit of time in the beautiful Newcastle and you wont get a better host, Michael, thank you so much!! Very comfortable and we had no problems at all Nothing about the apartment as everything was great, but for other travellers it's worth pointing out how dead Newcastle is in October during the week! We were surprised to find hardly anything open, only really one pub and one restaurant - the Italian on the corner which had everyone from Newcastle in it! The food was delicious though. If we went again we'd go in the summer or at a weekend

Checked in several times during the week to make sure she was doing ok and had the girls from the local "Gelato" ice cream shop keep an eye out for her as well. Couldn't have done any more it was much appreciated. Thanks 👍

• Paul (10/5): Would definitely recommend. Easy to get to places and the host Michael is a lovely man - Michael is a lovely man. We discussed golf for about 20 minutes and he even wanted to assist to help me on his local golf courses. Would happily visit and chat to him again. Nothing really - the bedroom can be a bit bright if you're a light sleeper, but it didn't bother me

• David (8/5): Lovely weekend break - Had a lovely short break for 2 nights. Apartment was right behind the main promenade with easy access via security gate. Also, had private parking and security gate. Apartment was very roomy and dog friendly which was a big bonus for us. Michael came and met us and was very friendly explaining where everything was and how to use the security gates etc. Can thoroughly recommend booking this.

The bed was very comfortable and the location couldn’t have been better, with the beach, mountains and town centre within easy walking distance. Own parking was a bonus. • Mike (10/5): Best apartment we have used in Newcastle, and over the years we have used lots. - The apartment was bright clean and cheerful. The apartment had everything we needed and was comfortably uncluttered. The owner Michael was most helpful and pleasant. We appreciated the milk and chocolate in the fridge. Despite the sunny days we appreciated the easy to handle heating system. Couldn't be much nearer the front/promenade for us oldies.

The apartment itself was cosy, clean and of very high standard - it was everything we could have wanted and expected! It was the most wonderful stay for me and my boyfriend for our anniversary. The host, Michael, was so lovely, accommodating, and friendly. Will definitely be back and recommend this place for anyone looking a short, beautiful trip away to Newcastle. Nothing - everything was great!

The kitchen / living space was bright, big and had all the modcons you would expect. The host was on hand for any queries. A set of curtains in the bedroom would be beneficial.

We ran into some paperwork issues from our country and Michael helped us sort it no problem. Full of local knowledge and so accommodating. Would definately stay here again. No hot water in the kitchen but to be fair, we didn't contact the host to sort, we just boiled the jug!! The facilities list on booking.com said there was a tumble dryer but there wasn't!

Centrally located and had easy access to the promenade. The apartment was well equipped and the bed was comfortable! Private parking was a dream!
