• Glyn (8/5): The apartment is clean and well set up and overall we enjoyed our time there but views and noise from adjoining bar wasn - Great location - close to harbour Hosts very nice and gave us some great tips on where to go and what to see The apartment is ground floor so easy access but crowds from neighbouring bar congregate outside your window and smoke so sitting in the apartment with the window open is not possible. Also the claim of a sea view is misleading and probably needs to be reviewed. In fact the main photo showing the view is taken from outside the property.

• Sonja (10/5): Hier kann man sich sehr wohlfühlen - Die Lage ist einfach unschlagbar - ein paar Schritte und man ist entweder am Bootsanleger, hat gegenüber eine traumhafte Aussicht auf den Ort mit den bunten Häuschen oder ist direkt in der Hauptgasse mit Geschäften und Restaurants, Bäcker, Eisladen... Vom Apartment aus schaut man auf den Hügel und sieht die schöne Lokalität "Nessun Dorma". Das Apartment ist gemütlich eingerichtet, das Bad großzügig und im Kühlschrank wartete u.a. eine Flasche Sekt auf mich. Am Schönsten ist der Ort morgens und abends, wenn nicht so viele Touristen da sind.

• Imogen (10/5): - 10 from 10 would recommend! Giulia and Paolo were the best hosts - Super friendly, gave great recommendations and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed! The room is spacious, clean and the bed and pillows are super comfortable. The bathroom is excellent & the location is ideal!
• Eric (9/5): Location that is easy to walk to in charming Manarola. Waterfront just steps away. - Short walk from train station. No stairs! Modern shower facilities. Helpful host! The high street just literally out the front door - can’t leave window open because of the noise and people are standing about just outside (because of room size that means they look straight into your bedroom!)

Atemberaubende Umgebung und Klippen-Wanderwege in unmittelbarer Nähe. Comfortables Doppelbett Bett und großes Bad. Das Zimmer ist ausgestattet mit Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank inklusive Getränke. Perfekte Lage um alle 5 Dörfer an der Küste zu erkunden. Der Bahnhof ist zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen und man muss keine Treppensteigen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Room is immaculate. Thought we would have more of a view (you just have to take 5 steps outside to get the view. You are right on the street. People are literally sitting at a restaurant table 10 feet from your window at street level

Host was very kind, and even gave us medicine when the pharmacy was closed and I was feeling unwell. Very kind and knowledgeable about the area, and great recommendations. Very tourist heavy area, but a good location to travel between villages by train

From personalized suggestions on what to see and where to eat, to thoughtful guidance throughout our visit, Giulia’s hospitality truly made our experience special. The guest room itself was clean, comfortable, and functional …everything we needed for a relaxing stay! The location couldn’t be better as it’s just a short walk from the train station and steps away from the water. It was easy to find and perfectly situated for exploring beautiful Manarola. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Cinque Terre!

• Francisco (10/5): Manarola and Salty Dreams made are stay unforgettable! - First, the hospitality of Giovanna when we arrived was warm and welcoming. She showed us the room which was very nice and comfortable,took time to explain any details that we needed to know. The property was located as close as possible to the ocean ; which meant we were in the center of things. Giovanna also recommended places to see , (especially Porto Venere which is not part of Cinque Terre towns but enjoyed immensely). Finally we were giving a welcoming bottle of champagne!!(We unfortunately did not try it. Nothing to dislike, everything was great

• Ramsey (10/5): Fully recommend Salty Dreams for your stay in Manarola. - A short walk from the Manarola train station tunnel brings you to this wonderful apartment. Manarola, like other towns in Cinque Terra, is very hilly, so this place, a stone's throw from the water, will be a godsend if you have bags of any substantial size and/or you want to avoid flights and flights of stairs - some of the accommodation is way up above the town. So, beware, if you choose a place with views from up on high, you'll need to be prepared to walk up and up to get there. The apartment is reasonably spacious, though one side of the double bed is against a wall. It's quiet at night, so a restful sleep is easily achieved. A corridor, leading to the bathroom located at the rear of the apartment, gives a greater sense of space. The bathroom is a standout - very modern, and a huge shower. Soaps and shampoo are also very good quality, and the towels are thick and luxurious. The bed is firm, and the bedding is very good quality. Snacks, water, and a bottle of prosecco (!) are provided gratis, as is tea and coffee. Artwork is bright and quirky, giving the room a funky feel. The hosts, Giovanna, Giulia and Paolo, are wonderful. Friendly, effervescent characters who make you feel totally welcome (seriously, they greeted us like we were old friends!), and are so helpful with all the information they have about the area.

• Angel (10/5): Lovely Guest Room in Manarola. - We booked this location based on previous reviews and we weren’t dissapointed. Great location within 5 minutes of the train station. No steps once you leave the station was a big plus. The owner gave us great recommendatios for day trips. Lots of good places to eat at anytime. Nothing. It was as expected.

It would really helpful if they replenish the complimentary water every day especially since there’s no store to buy water at night. We stayed for 3 nights and only got 1 water. Also, note that there’s no sea view on this property.

• Jon (10/5): Dream stay in Salty Dreams Manarola - I can only say that if you want to experience a dream in Cinque Terre, you must once in your life stay in Salty Dreams Manarola. Unrealistic First of all, the hosts are very responsive and help you with everything. Secondly, the apartment is equipped with everything that you may wish for, and they also provide if you ask for something extra (thermometer, etc). Thirdly, new modern apartment, that makes you feel comfortable. Right next to the ferry for the other villages and 5 minutes walk to the train station if it's too late. Imagine being in the heart of Cinque Terre, alone, at 11 pm with the freshness of the waterfall and the sea. That's what you feel when you open the door of Salty Dreams Manarola. Recommend to everyone, book immediately if you see it available Ps. You must go swimming in the summer nights, amazing hot water. I travel a lot, but this is the first time I have made such a long review for a place. Deserved

Manarola can be very busy like all Cinque Terre , but come the evening it is the most beautiful place to stole around , and if there is any accommodation here that has a nicer outlook and ease of access to everything i would be surprised. All contact made is done very professionally, and you get the feeling they are just a call away for any help. Thanks for the water and bottle of Fizz that greeted us , Lovely surprise. Do not hesitate booking up Salty Dreams , and i so hope to visit again one day. absolutely nothing , We just love this place.

Fridge in room. This is a great unit that is clean and in an optimal location. The GPS brings you to a different location. Ask the host for the name of the bar next door. Look at the location in the picture. This helped the most. The bed was comfy, but one side was against the wall. OK for us, but in case people have mobility issues, this may not work.

Perfect distance to everything in Manarola and not too far from the train either. It was easy to get to and Giulia was so easy to talk to via Whatsapp. Nothing, perfect spot for couples!

And so close to so many great restaurants. Host met us at the door and was super helpful. The view was nice but most of the time there were too many tourists to enjoy it and see the water but not the hosts fault.

• Dungca (9/5): Comfortable and clean accommodations, central location, great host - The guesthouse seemed newly renovated and is located in a prime location right new to the water and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Giulia was very welcoming and accommodated my same day request to stay the night. The only issue is that it can be loud because of how central it is (especially if you want to sleep in), but that's the tradeoff. The breakfast can also be better, but there's very good food nearby.
