- Robert (6/5): - The design of the place The boiler process, the cooker was hard work, the stairs were to steep
- Cooper (10/5): Super location, great flat, lovely stay. - Perfect. Extremely clean and everything you could need. We loved it. Nothing
- Tracy (9/5): - Everything quirky great layout & good location for getting around cotswolds The bed was very very creeky & not that comfortable
- Chris (10/5): Modern and cozy - Location is fantastic, was nice and warm upon arrival as it was a chilly day It's not a didn't like, but I don't think the kettle worked, tried different power outlet and still nothing. Didn't worry me, just thought I'd let you know. Maybe I didn't have it turned on long enough.
- Ian (7/5): Had everything we needed for our one night stay. - A lovely and comfortable property with good access to the centre of town. Had everything we needed for our one night stay. Nice touch leaving fresh milk and bread which we used for our breakfast.
- tia (10/5): Really enjoyed staying here - Beautiful, exactly like described.
The small touches. The bed was creaky, when getting up and turning over.
- Mike (8/5): -
- Charis (10/5): Perfect! - Very very comfortable, amazing location and easy to contact.
- Fay (10/5): -
- lucy (10/5): We are so please we spent a special birthday here a - This was an absolutely fantastic mini break, it’s exceeded our expectations, brought for a birthday gift, from the moment I made the booking the hosts provided suggestions of what to do in the area and how to enter the property.
The space was lovely, spacious, fantastic decor and furnishings, simply stunning with incredible amount of natural light through out. Every little details had been well thought about and everything was available if only there for one night or to a week. We absolutely will be back and will be recommending this to everyone we know! Travelling with a content creator, this was easy to record how beautiful this property really is ( happy to share or tag a link) Nothing!!!
- Richard (10/5): Lovely accommodation with all amenities on your doorstep - It was lovely decorated & had everything needed for your stay Nothing
- Fenner (10/5): - Everything . Nothing
- Laura (9/5): - - Amazing, cosy interior.
- Looking at previous reviews, hosts have acted upon any improvements.
- Brilliant location. One thing, the bed was reallly squeaky, everytime we rolled we were worried to wake up the neighbours!
- Josh (10/5): -
- Sadiya (10/5): Overall, a lovely stay and one I would highly recommend. - The property was beautifully decorated, spotless, and near to local amenities. It was incredibly spacious and truly worth every penny.
The host was thoughtful and attentive. They messaged us with helpful recommendations and local tips, which we really appreciated.
- Victoria (10/5): Perfect location, beautiful compact property with everything we needed. - Very quirky, cosy and very comfortable Nothing. Everyone was great
- Marc (9/5): - Fantastic style, spacious and well appointed. Good location for a base to wider Cotswolds. Parking plentiful in the free long stay car parks around the village. The hob was tricky to use (likely as we're unused to the electric type) but some additional user guides would be helpful in the drawer.
- Amy (10/5): -
- Sarah (8/5): Beautiful 2 night stay just a little challenging have the dogs with us. - The property is absolutely stunning, lovely and clean. There was bread, milk and stuff to make a brew with when we arrived. Location was great for visiting clarksons farm which was only a 5 minute drive away. Town with pubs to eat at right on our doorstep. There are stairs to go up to the apartment which we found difficult having two dogs with us, one of our dogs is 12 years old and really struggled with the stairs as they wasn’t carpeted so he had no grip which meant my fiancé had to carry him up the stairs and he’s big and heavy, it was a struggle. It also leads out to a busy road so again with two dogs it was a little challenging but we managed it.
- Abigail (10/5): A very relaxing and calm stay with lots of options to explore. - Very well decorated, very cosy and private. plenty of extra bits and bobs like salt, pepper, spices sauces, tea and coffee, The bread and milk was a lovely gesture.
Very close - walking distance to all the shops and pubs. Free very close by parking. I don’t want to write anything negative because it truly is a lovely place to stay.
The bed is a little squeaky (every turn it squeaked)
And there wasn’t enough hot water to fill the bath.
Just something that can hopefully be rectified. ☺️
- Anderson (10/5): - It was in a very nice looking flat, clean and tidy, and in a good location, close to amenities. And if you like clarksons farm its just round the corner.
- Alex (8/5): - Lovely location right in the centre of Chipping Norton. Really close to any facilities such as a shop The bed was super creaky and dipped in the middle slightly. They only issue I had was with the bed.
- Louise (10/5): -
- Katie (9/5): Beautiful accommodation and would definitely stay again! - The property was beautifully decorated, attention to detail was second to none! Very comfortable stay and excellent location to where we wanted to visit. Our only issues where the hot water occasionally dropping out and the oven was a bit tricky to work without instructions - but the owners did respond to our queries asap!
- Helen (1/5): So sad, I had high expectations but sadly the lack of hot water that the host is aware of - Location good. No hot water. Very rude host
- Laura Ann (10/5): -
- Paul (10/5): Lovely and would stay again - Lovely cosy apartment, location perfect and parking available it’s our second stay here as we come up for the Cheltenham festival and the location is a good distance away without the silly prices charged in Cheltenham Nothing I didn’t like, we had a issue with no hot water but was sorted with a email to the hosts, however it’s got a amazing big bath but the hot water runs out before you get to fill it.
- Nicola (8/5): Birthday treat - The apartment was lovely, very attractively designed, comfortable. Good position to the town centre, parking close by. The water came out of the shower cublicle, maybe a door would contain the water?
Kitchen tap was very loose (need to tighten) a few more coasters to help protect the wooden surfaces.
- Dave (10/5): Beautiful apartment located in a great area - The property is located in a great location with easy parking directly opposite. The apartment itself is beautiful with great facilities. It is very homely and the host even went to the effort of leaving us fresh milk and bread.
I would highly recommend!
- Orna (10/5): -
- Karen (4/5): - Property was really lovely. Couldn’t fault it until later that day when got in the shower and unfolded the towels there was blood stained on 2 of the bath towels, maybe a one off but I won’t be returning.
- Bella (9/5): -
- Gayle (1/5): -
- Ed (8/5): Lovely & comfortable, just needs a little TLC & maintenance - Very comfortable sofa and bed.
Cosy but spacious apartment.
Apartment as a whole was very nice, all the facilities you need.
Fresh Milk & bread were left upon arrival which was nice. Get the boiler and/or pipes sorted, had to watch the boiler whilst trying to fill the bath with hot water.
The tap in the kitchen and the Bath tap need tightening up, they were quite loose/wobbly.
Few cobwebs in some places, mainly ceiling lights, but the rest of the room was clean, tidy & smelt pleasant.
And one of the handles on the 4 slice toaster is missing so can only use 1 side
- Elise (10/5): Lovely - Convenient location. Comfy bed. Nice kitchen and lunge area. Parking just opposite. Felt safe even though I was travelling alone.
- Kimberley (9/5): Ideal base - Very clean, lovely decor, great location
- Katie (10/5): -
- Mary (10/5): A fabulous find in the Cotswolds ideal to stay in and see the surrounding area - Perfect from the moment we opened the door. Such great utilisation of a small space but had everything we needed. Beautiful bath and a bed that felt like we were sleeping on cotton wool. There really wasn’t anything not to like.
- Pru (8/5): Very comfortable and well equipped - Convenience, well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge and bedroom No mention of being up narrow stairs, made it a little difficult for getting out heavy suitcases up and down
- Nathan (10/5): Will go again - In the middle of everything and style of place
- Jo (10/5): Perfect countryside retreat - Stunning apartment, super clean, had everything we needed, just contactable for any issues, we loved our stay. N/A
- ceri (9/5): - Such a lovely, cute little apartment that has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect. Nothing at all
- alex (9/5): My wife and I had a lovely stay here, which was a short stroll into the town. -
- Maradzika (6/5): Fair - It was nice and clean. The heating was not working properly and there was no one ti ask
- Adam (10/5): -
- Shannon (10/5): We will return! - It was perfect and a great location. Nothing.
- Holly (10/5): -
- Tom (9/5): -
- Martyn (9/5): Excellent property - Lovely property, really good location in Chipping Norton Nothing
- Michael (10/5): -
- Joe (10/5): Amazing - Clean and felt homely It rained quite heavy and was quite loud but that’s Mother Nature
- William (10/5): -
- Loren (5/5): Not impressed - Good location and parking Paint on walls was missing, bits matched up with blue on a green wall
Dirty towels
Big bath that you couldn’t fill up with hot water, as it was only hot running water for around 2 minutes then went freezing cold
Overflow off shower runs into bathroom and bedroom
Duvet cover was broken with buttons at end been melted off in tumble dryer
Tv didnt work very well, no apps available die to weak signal
Tv remote batterys needed changing
Broken freezer
Broken toaster
- Carl (9/5): Enjoyed our stay. - Beautiful place. Modern and contemporary. Very clean and comfortable Nothing to report
- Eames (10/5): Perfect Stay! - - Was so well decorated felt like a home away from home which was lovely
- The bed was extremely comfortable
- Was so clean and tidy which is obviously always nice
- Had everything you could possibly need including and iron and many other facilities
- Bread and milk on arrival was a lovely touch N/A
- Alix (10/5): -
- kim (8/5): - Stylish, cosy, lively features The only thing would be the paint marks around the property on touch up jobs. But other than that was lovely!
- Sam (10/5): -
- roberts (10/5): -
- Thomas (8/5): Loved it, would stay here again happily - Beautiful place, well designed, would stay here again, really cosy! Needs a little bit of maintenance, I suspect it’s due to this being used a lot. Very minor though. Just a few fixes and would have been a 10/10. Pans may need replacing but still useable.
- John (10/5): Lovely place to stay - The style of the property is beautiful Nothing
- kaylee (9/5): -
- Graham (10/5): Cozy little apartment in a great location. - Cody little apartment, really well appointed and decorated, super comfortable bed and loved the bath. Very close to the road so the traffic could be noise, but the double glazing is very effective.
- Vicki (9/5): Beautifully presented, comfortable get away. - The property is beautiful. It was a lovely place to stay. We struggled to use the oven/microwave combination unit. I had to Youtube the instructions .
- Richard (8/5): -
- Grundy (10/5): Fantastic spot to explore the Cotswolds with everything within a 3 minute walking distance. - Beautifully done with lots of space and comfy Bed was very soft and pillows weren’t supportive.
- Helen (8/5): Great apartment, well liked after and good location - Great location for visiting the area. Well maintained and a comfortable stay
- Lynette (8/5): Fantastic location and bolt hole for our trip to Diddly Squat! - Very well laid out and all amenities lovely, worked well and everything needed. Location was excellent. I had missed that the whole property was on the first floor, which was totally my mistake. This wasn’t a problem but just made taking dogs in and out a little more difficult.
- Lucy (10/5): -
- Alexandra (10/5): Easy, relaxing, convenient. - Lovely decorations, clean and comfortable. Not a big deal for a few nights, but the shower overflowed into the bathroom slightly.
- Kelly (8/5): - Decor was stunning
Owner very responsive when contacted.
Beautiful bath
Shower was good
Bed was comfortable
We arrived to bread and milk. Missing finishing touched like paint touch up were the wrong shade.
Little bottles of Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash would of been a nice touch.
Sachets of tea coffee and sugar would of also been a nice touch for the price you pay.
- Steven (10/5): -
- Joanne (9/5): - Lovely accommodation exactly as photos
Very easy check in
Great location close to everything Nothing
- vic (10/5): -
- Kieron (5/5): Relaxing but overpriced! - Relaxing accommodation.
Facilities good.
Nice layout. Not clean in places - pans, cutlery etc all needed a wash.
No towel in toilet.
- Ruth (8/5): Perfect short break - Really comfortable and had everything we needed. Bread and milk on arrival was a lovely touch. The location was great and instructions to get into the property were really simple and easy to follow. The whole apartment felt really luxurious and a treat to stay in. We especially loved the decor. Door to icebox in fridge was broken, cracked bowl in cupboard, “free toiletries” in bathroom seem to be what other people have left behind, just a few tiny details that didn’t match the luxury of the property.
- Francesca (7/5): Good -
- Nia (8/5): Lovely property for a break - The apartment was beautiful, one of the nicest we've stayed at. It's immaculately decorated. Perfect location, behind the high Street of Chipping Norton, which is a five minute walk away. Lovely comfy bed. Bread and milk provided which was a nice touch. Missing a few small amenities; tea towel, bath sheets etc (however it does say upon booking to bring your own bath sheets). We also noticed that the shower soaks the bathroom, as the tray part is not low enough compared to the tiles by the bath. We didn't mind, but something to be mindful of, as the few small towels provided were used for this purpose.
- Peter (6/5): Great location for the Cotswolds - The location was central for day visits around the Cotswolds. Shopping very close. It did not meet our expectations. As the apartment was upstairs it was very hot and stuffy. The windows were difficult to open and need some maintenance. One lounge chair had a broken leg and is a safety issue, this needs repairing. Had to ask for hand towels and dish cloths.
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Charlie (10/5): 5* -
- Tess (7/5): Good - Beautifully styled apartment right in the heart of town. Couch was comfy. Washing machine was very helpful as were all the other amenities. Would have been great if there was better air flow. Felt so stuffy and a couple of the windows were broken so you couldn't leave them open. Shower head looks cool, but don't bother trying to wash your hair under it. Eye mask and ear plugs are needed if you prefer a quiet, dark room to sleep in.
- Julie (9/5): Really enjoyable stay at Chipping Norton in a very stylish apartment - Great location for shops & pubs. Free long stay car park opposite the apartment. Very stylishly decorated. Really clean and comfortable. Very light & airy. Left us bread & milk which was appreciated. Not being able to arrive earlier than 3.30pm. Quite late when you’re checking out at 11am the next day but I think we could have left at midday.
- Wendy (9/5): Spacious, clean, comfortable and convenient. - Spacious, beautifully decorated, very comfortable, nice kitchen and easy walk to town. The property is on a road that was busy during the day but not a problem at night.
- Michael (10/5): Perfect Countryside Retreat - It’s a beautiful apartment with excellent facilities. Easy to park opposite. We were left milk & a beautiful sourdough loaf, which was greatly appreciated. Communication was good & everything worked well. Would highly recommend & hopefully stay again in the future. All was good.
- Emma (8/5): Lovely stay - Lovely apartment. Clean and spacious. Comfortable bed and good amenities. Close proximity to centre and diddly squat farm shop. Appreciated the bread and milk on arrival. Paintwork could do with being touched up as completely mis matched in quite a few places. Bins needed in bathroom or bedroom. Front door needs replacing as do the windows as all the latches are in a poor state. Maybe some butter for the bread!?
- Neil (10/5): Great place to stay and relax - We loved the location, easy to park. very relaxing. we looked at hotels, didn't have the same appeal as the place we stayed in. you can relax, cook your own food. I would recommend this place to anybody who,
like us, just wanted to have time away from home and relax . Nothing, it was perfect
- Reagan (10/5): A super lovely stay!! - Such a lovely place and well located! N/A
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Tanya (9/5): Beautiful, homely, cosy property. Lovely decoration. Great location and close to plenty of restaurants and shops. - Beautiful property, exactly as photos present. Decoration lovely and felt very homely. Beautiful bath tub and comfy bed.
Great location in terms of being 5 minute walk from the town which had a range of shops and places to eat. We went to Bitter & Twisted for food which was dog friendly also. The atmosphere was great, staff were polite and food was great.
Could hear traffic on and off as it is a fairly busy road, but this is to be expected with town being so close by.
We used this as a base for visiting Diddly Squat Farm which was only 5/10 minutes away. Again, perfect location for this.
Would highly recommend this property. Not necessarily the property itself, but I didn’t think before booking about practicalities with dogs. They needed / wanted to go toilet throughout the night which meant having to go up and down stairs, trying to do this quietly with also opening and closing doors.
- Liza (10/5): We had the most amazingly restful stay in this beautiful apartment - The apartment was spacious and open planned. The decor was beautiful and it also had a really cosy homely feel to it. Nice little touches with bread and milk left for us. It was also very immaculately clean. It was perfect for chilling in the evenings after busy days sightseeing and we both got a really good nights sleep. The property is on a main road but after a while you didn't notice the traffic outside. We were less than a mile away from diddly squat farm which was the reason for our visit so was perfect and also just 20 mins from Jeremy Clarksons pub TheFarmers Dog where we had the most amazing roast dinner. Also just a couple of mins walk from the apartment was a co op, a couple of really lovely pubs and a bistro that serves really good food. As soon as we walked in I knew we were going to have the most restful weekend and we did Nothing to dislike as was perfect
- Megan (8/5): Very good - Beautiful apartment, just take an eye mask and ear plugs. Perhaps blockout curtains for those bright sunny mornings. Overall a lovely stay. Thanx for bread and milk!
- Jasmine (8/5): Very good -
- Kara (10/5): Relaxing, cozy, warm and peaceful. Best and favourite place I have stayed in my entire month of travelling. - I loved every little detail that was in this property. The stylings and cozy feel. It was immaculate and I was so happy the second I arrived. Location was perfect for what I wanted and the community were all so lovely. I literally loved everything about the property!
- Prasad (8/5): Very good - Lovely area, with shops near by. Apartment was clean and tidy and was well equipped. Would definitely stay again. No major complaints just had a few issues with t.v and signal and no bins in bathrooms which would have been useful.
- Natalie (10/5): Excellent! - Perfect location and beautiful place.
- Katrina (6/5): Great for a weekend - Lovely style of property However it was tired. Needs painting and deep clean especially dusting
Essentials such as wine glasses need replacing
- Shannon (9/5): Superb - Property was Perfect location
