• Dave brunet (7/5): - Mooi ingerichte villa met de nodige faciliteiten. Behulpzaam personeel. 20 minuten wandelen naar het centrum. Wij verbleven er 3 nachten en op 2 van de 3 nachten (woensdag en vrijdag) was er een zeer luid feest in het hotel vlakbij gelegen dat tot 4am in de nacht duurt. Wij kozen bewust om niet in het luidruchtige centrum te verblijven met ons gezin, maar dit hadden we niet verwacht. De eigenaar van de villa kan hier weinig tegen beginnen. Zeer jammer, want de villa is top. Slecht in 1 van de 2 kamers is er airco aanwezig. Wel zijn er veel fans.

• Tereza (10/5): The best place to stay in Arugam Bay - We have been travelling in Sri Lanka for 3 weeks and this Villa Wonne was the best accommodation so far. Designed by a Danish architect, it is a masterpiece, filled with sophisticated art. In hectic and vibrating Arugam Bay, this place brings you the needed peace and tranquility. Rooms are huge, cool, and very well-equipped. Great location - 2 mins into the beach (very convenient for watching sunrise). The place is maintained by 2 lovely locals, who are very attentive. Btw. I had booked a different place in Arugam Bay (Hakuna Matata), which in reality looks like a goat shed, for similar amount of money, cancelled it when I saw it, and was lucky enough to book this lovely villa, which in reality looks much better than on pictures.

• Kiara (8/5): Great value for money and would definitely come back with a group of friends. Would be nice if the kitchen was in better - Just a a tone’s throw from the beach. Since it is a little further from the main strip it is quieter, lovely for a quiet holiday (except on the night where there was a party next door). The caretakers kept the rooms and bathrooms very clean and were always ready to help! The kitchen was not very clean. Cobwebs under the table and chairs in living room, kitchen and outdoors. Cutlery, mugs and dishes were dirty.
• Jan (7/5): Good - The host welcomed us correctly. The location is splendid, 50 m from the beach and close to restaurants. The kitchen and bathroom were not super clean. The entire apartment felt a bit outdated and needs some renovation.
