Guest Reviews
- Macken (10/5): - It was very nice and beautiful camp we had a chance to see the sunrise on the big dunes also quad bike to see the nomads it was the best thing and dinner was delicious thank you so much
- Lovana (10/5): Great experience - We had a Wonderful time this lovely camp we are having a great time with this lovely team we could come back again soon as possible because Mohamad took care of us he book quad bikes for sunset and we booked a visit to the lake of the birds it's nice place Thank you everyone.
- Lara (10/5): -
- Patrick (10/5): Perfect place - The great glamping place. It is not a camp site!!! Inside the tent has bed, shower, and toilet. It is warmly heated and has very thick nice warm carpet. So we didn’t feel cold at all through the night. Shower also has very nice hot water comes out. Food was mediocre. But that’s not the really important part of the stay for us. After the dinner, they had music around campfire, which was enjoyable as well. The beautiful star gazing was also the highlight of stay.
- Shilpa (10/5): Perfect Camp - This place is beautiful! The staff members here are friendly and attentive and they took good care of us. We had good WiFi connection, heated rooms and steady hot water which was very helpful for cold nights.
The food served here were also of really good quality. Be sure to join in their camp fires in the evenings as there is singing and a lot of laughters.

- Daylan (10/5): Beautiful - Arriving at this camp in the middle of the Sahara dunes of Merzouga is truly incredible: ten tents lined up with a central red carpet overlooking a restaurant. Everything is well done, the rooms are magnificent, with bathrooms, toilets, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. I wasn't expecting this level of service at all. The staff embodies the spirit of Moroccan hospitality, attentive to their guests, always smiling and thoughtful. The Moroccan meal was sublime: sublime vegetables, spicy tagines, and of course, the essential soup as a starter. After dinner, we headed to the top of the dune where the entire staff was waiting for us around the fire for a percussion session. A lively atmosphere was guaranteed, and then it was our turn to be introduced to the local instruments. An evening I will remember for a long time it's very nice 🙂
- Lana (10/5): Luxury camp - We had such a great experience atAurum dunes luxury camp. The staff were so friendly and provided such a wonderful time in the dessert. Very organized. We loved our room. King sized bed, flushing toilet, and hot water showers!!! We were able to do ATV's in the dunes. Loved the nighttime fireside music. Great food! One of my best life experiences.
- Riccardo (6/5): - Non funziona l’aria condizionata
- Narima (10/5): Great experience - We had a magical time here on May. This camp may be slightly pricier than others but definitely worth the price as the quality is excellent with regards to the service you receive. Hassan -from a nomad family- and his team provide you with an experience of a life time . May it be camel riding, star gazing, or an amazing 5 course dinner he has thought of your every need and will make it happen.
- Gabrila (10/5): Nice 👍 - Our stay in this lovely Camp was wonderful. The location was breathtaking with endless views of Saharian dunes and similar camps around. The facilities are brand new and sparkling clean. The staff was a delight from our arrival until we left, the owner Moha has been very attentive before we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed until we left. Moha helped us plan a great day outdoor with Quad biking, buggies and camels and we found everything ready when we arrived. The food was also great as they offered a mix of different authentic Moroccan and Sahari foods. I couldn't recommend more this place, we will definitely be back.
- Maria (10/5): The best camp - We had the most fantastic two nights, staying at this beautiful camp, where no detail has been spared.
The staff are both incredibly welcoming and efficient, but also funny and entertaining.
We arrived just after the massive floods which ripped through the South and they had worked incredibly hard to reopen and have everything tip top.
The views are amazing.
We were served delicious food and snacks. They really go the extra mile.
Do yourself a favour!
- Novak (10/5): Nice luxury camp - If you have enough time, it’s worth staying for two nights. The Aurum dunes is beautifully located. Nights can be cold in February, but the tents were warmer and more warmly furnished than most of the hotels we stayed at during our trip to Morocco.
The team is incredibly welcoming, and you can feel that they truly love what they do. Yousef and Mustapha took an entire day to show us the most beautiful places in the region, including a lunch with chicken cooked over an open oven.
- Julio (10/5): Great experience - Mohamed and his team are AMAZING ! The experience was 10/10. The food was delicious and the camp was well maintained, the rooms were clean and everything worked as it should. The Berber music around the fire was great. The stars at night were something incredible and out of this world. Our car broke down shortly after leaving camp in the middle of the desert in over 40° temps with 0 shade nearby, we had our daughter with us (3years old), we dont speak Arabic, we didnt know what to do so we called Mohamed and he came to the rescue with his friend. This is was far beyond his responsibility but still came to without expecting anything in return. We will forever be grateful for that. Needless to say, we will recommend to our friends and if youre thinking about staying here definitely do !
Thank you Mohamed! 🙏🏾

We thoroughly enjoyed our time and wholeheartedly recommend Aurum camp.
Best Marian
- Nomara (10/5): Great experience - I had a great experience at this lovely camp we took the camels to visit the big dunes also the sunset was perfect and the food is delicious also quad bike riding on the dunes .
- Spiridon (10/5): -
- GIRARD (8/5): -
- James (10/5): The best camp - The best camp! It's the furthest from the other tents, the rooms are clean and well-equipped, they pick you up at the gas station and drop you off at no extra charge, the staff are fantastic, and the sunsets and sunrises from there are truly breathtaking. At night, you'll see a starry sky like you've never seen before.
- Mario (10/5): -
- Gabrielle (10/5): Nice Rooms - [5/11, 21:37] WELCOME TO THE CAMP: Had an absolutely amazing experience at Luxury camp. Incredible experience from start to finish. The itinerary planned for the 2N stay was perfect — the traditional music soiree at night under the stars and sunset camel ride was nothing short of amazing. The camp location was stunning and further from other camps, making it feel more private and exclusive.
The tent was nice and cosy with amenities that you'd need: hot running water, toilet and shower. It was very well insulated with no AC, so it was a little bit too warm for my liking (I was here during Autumn). There isn't any power sockets in the tent but was readily available power socket are available in the main areas.
The star of the whole package has got to be both the camp staff (huge shout out to Yassin for making our stay comfortable!)
- Nola (10/5): Perfect - My best holiday ever.
The location is fantastic, surrounded by the dunes you will feel like a martian.
The beds are really comfortable and the desert climate is optimal to relax even with short naps. I highlight that the bathrooms are clean.
Ayoub is a genuinely friendly host and hard worker, with plenty of activities for you, he can organize everything.
We danced toghether around the fire with live traditional music, saw beautiful landscapes, visited mines for the extraction of makeup's glitter and mascara's minerals that was really interesting, traversed many markets with lot of delicious palm-dates and fabolous smelling skin oils and parfoumes, rode in a convoy with 12 dromedaries with a stop on a giant dune to see the sunset, went racing in the desert with buggies and quads and had a delicious lunch seated at the bottom of a big dune.
For dog lovers sometimes a funny small sized dog comes to greet you.
I really recommend since i sincerely enjoyed the stay.
- Kyra (10/5): -
- Olga (10/5): -
- Luis (9/5): - Wonderful experience Staff are super attentive and the room is luxurious Clean room and bathroom There are also loungers for stargazing
Remember after midnight till 5:00 no super water pressure, electricity once a while will go off and on, but it is in the desert so totally fine
Very cozy and comfortable bed slept like a baby
- Antonia (10/5): - The camel ride to the Luxury Camp lead by a really friendly and knowledgeable Berber guide, was such an unforgettable experience - I do recommend wearing a pair of gloves with a good grip and a lot of sun cream on the way to the camp! Towards the end of the camel ride we stopped near the camp to take pictures of the sunset and the golden dunes of the Sahara The camels, as far as I'm aware, were also being treated well In the private tents of the camp, there's running water, electricity WiFi comfortable beds a nice shower and soft pillows There is a central public tent where dinner takes place and it's a good opportunity to speak to the guides and meet fellow guests there. By day the heat in the desert is scorching but at night it can get really really cold The lack of light pollution in the area and the fact that it was a clear and "moonless night created the perfect opportunity for stargazing and allowed us to have a really really good look at the Milky Way galaxy with naked eyes We were fortunate enough to see meteors too Make sure you're awake for sunrise as it looks amazing from the camp Truly memorable
- Matra (10/5): Perfect place - We had one of the best experience at our lovely camp also we enjoyed the off-road car tour with Ibrahim he is nice person we would love to come back to this place again thank you very much for this amazing experience 🙏
- Chris (10/5): Perfect stay in a perfect scenery. - Staff is super kind and welcoming especially Said. The food was amazing. Entertainment ( berber music and dance ) was also amazing! We loved the comfort and cleanliness of the luxury tents.
- Cheyue (10/5): -
- MArco (10/5): -
- Christian (10/5): - We took the camel ride and arrived after sunset. The camp is very clean and comfortable. The staff were welcoming The rooms are spacious. The WiFi was very spotty, but we were in the sand dunes after all
- Bonanza (10/5): Great experience - We had a Wonderful experience at Aurum dunes luxury camp we love to come back again soon as possible because we have been treated like a family not like gustes Hamad is a nice person also quad bikes for sunset is the best thing ever 😊
- Mehmet (10/5): - Wonderful experience. Staff are super attentive and the room is luxurious. Clean room and bathroom. There are also loungers for stargazing
Remember after midnight till 5:00 no super water pressure, electricity once a while will go off and on, but it is in the desert so totally fine.
cozy and comfortable bed, slept like a baby
- Manon (10/5): C etait genial !
- WanderingFamily (10/5): -
- Marta (10/5): -
- Ingrid (9/5): Awesome! I would go back here in the future. - The view was stunning, best wifi in this trip so far. Food was very good. We did the three hour tour around the desert, which was very interesting.
- Slanar (10/5): Best experience at camp - Absolutely a once-in-a-lifetime experience! first you start with a 1.5-2.5 hour camel trek through the Merzouga Dunes (spectacular) and you end up at the camp site. Food (Breakfast and Dinner) and Music was excellent! I never ate so much in my life; very filling for sure! Room had hot showers and full flushing toilets; including the bed so amenities were excellent compared to many hotels in Marrakesh or Fez especially being in the heart of the sahara desert for sure. If you stay here for more than one night, recommend doing dune boarding and they have boards outside to do; fun and also tons of camels roaming around too, approach with respect and caution if you are going to pet them.
The wifi and cell signal is not the greatest here but knowing you’re in the middle of the desert, you would focus more on the experience itself.
They will take your luggage for you and will be there by the time you finish the camel trek.
- Lark Van De (10/5): Good camp - Aurum dunes luxury camp is great! The location, the food and the comfort that it offers is wonderful. The people and staff are the best. It is like a little oasis inside the Sahara. We had a great time and we highly recommend this place.
- Marian (10/5): Amazing experience - we did the 4 day trip from Marrakech with our car and had 2 nights at Aurum dunes luxury camp. it was wonderful and the camp was well appointed, the hosts very friendly and the food was excellent. we visited in April and were worried it might be too cold. but it was quite pleasant during the day and the heavy blankets kept warm and comfortable at night.
- Aleksandra (9/5): -
Vamos a volver
- Egle (10/5): -
- Coman (10/5): - A camp run by friendly and helpful Moroccans who welcome you, cook excellent breakfasts and dinners, and in the evenings offer Berber music around the fire. The tents are comfortable and well-equipped
- Noah (10/5): - We had a very nice and unique experience staying here for two nights. Mohamed was very welcoming and took good care of us during our stay
We enjoyed the sunrise, the calm atmosphere of the desert and some local activities that were well organized. The 4x4 ride was also a fun part of the experience
The food was very good, both breakfast and dinner. The tent was comfortable, with a private bathroom and hot water
The WiFi was a bit weak, but that’s understandable in the desert. Overall, it was a great experience and good value for money
- Antonio (10/5): - A very enjoyable stay in the desert. Mohamed welcomed us warmly and helped with everything during our visit. We did a camel ride at sunset and spent a nice evening by the campfire with music and tea. The tents were spacious and comfortable. I would definitely come back
- SOPHIE (10/5): - We had a very nice two-night stay in the desert. Mohamed was very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable during our stay
We enjoyed several activities like the sunset camel ride, visiting a nomadic family, and spending the evening around the campfire with music and tea.
The tents are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience and a good way to discover the Sahara
- Clementine (10/5): - Wwe stayed one night at the camp. mohamed picked us up in his 4x4 and we drove across the dunes to reach the camp.
The staff were incredibly attentive. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and the food was delicious and plentiful. The camp was fantastic!
moha took us to the dunes at sunset to take photos, and we enjoyed music and dancing around the campfire. Then we stargazed.
Everything was perfect from beginning to end Mohamed was exceptional! We even got a small vial to collect some sand.
One of the best camps in Merzouga! It was a wonderful experience!
The Caravane leader is very happy
- Maria (10/5): Nice adventure - The camp was a beautiful also we had a wonderful time together with my family and team they took care of us also the place has a great location in the middle of the dunes and camel back to see the sunset is a fantastic and off road car tour it was very nice
- Larra (10/5): Best experience - We did a round trip across Morocco, and without doubts, Merzouga and Mohamed camp was one of the biggest highlights.
Arrival at the sunset by camel is worth every penny, and you can’t compare it with anything else, if you have a chance - just do it, you will not regret. The desert feeling and landscape of the sand dunes - unforgettable memories, wow. The camp is really luxury, you feel like in a fairy tale. After traditional dinner, singing and dancing at the fire will expect you, emerce yourself. And best for us was talking to Mohamed, where he openly shared his knowledge about living in a desert, connection to nature and his philosophy to life. Mohamed and the team go every extra mile to make you feel comfortable, and your experience in the desert unforgettable. We will certainly come back to Hassan to plan our next trip.
- Maksym (10/5): -
- Markovich (10/5): Nice camp - We had a magical time here in October. Best experience
- Diminni (10/5): - Very nice property The staff, especially hamad was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable The ride from the parking point to the camp was not included, but we enjoyed it because we could see the sunset in the middle of the dunes The place was calm and peaceful, with great food and a nice team. Good value overall, thank you
- Aidan (10/5): - Mustafa and Mustafa were great hosts (yes there were two Mustafas). They provided us with excellent hospitality and friendship. It’s a lovely and comfortable camp. There are probably about 10 tents so it is quite personable and it feels removed from the other accommodations in the area event though they are all next to each other. Ibrahim was also a blast on the atv tour.
- Morgan (10/5): Perfect camp - It was my first time ever in merzouga with my family and we loved everything about this place also Mohamed is a knowledgeable person he told us everything and the food at camp was tasty I'm going to come back again because I do love the Sahara and quad bikes are the best thing
- Ramak (9/5): - The camp is very nice and close to the dunes The tents are beautiful and well decorated with carpets on the ground. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. We arrived at the camp by jeep and took camels to see the sunrise, then returned by jeep to the parking area It was a nice way to enjoy the Sahara desert
- Venus (10/5): - Very nice property The staff were friendly and helpful during our stay The transfer from the parking area to the camp was not included but we enjoyed the ride and the sunset views. The food was good and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful Overall it was a good value experience thank you mohamed

Zowieso iet in Marokko.
