Guest Reviews
- Richard (2/5): Not happy poor location and subpar accommodations - Unfortunately the fridge was not working so I couldn’t store food. There was no running water to the toilet located in the place I was staying in.
- Rhun (10/5): -
- Rick (7/5): Dome or Tiny Cabin ... be aware of what you are booking - The unit to be booked was not clear. Did not realize this was a tiny house until we arrived. I had thought we had booked one of the domes. Really never saw anyone that was staff unless the lady that was working to construct another dome unit was the manager. The view was beautiful but there was some road noise because the unit was right on the road. Clear communication of unit being booked. Promote the "off the grid" experience if that is the marketing angle. Make sure to empty the garbage between guests.
- Deb (10/5): Incredible! - Loved the location - remote and tranquil! Amazing view of chief mountain and great for sunsets! The mini house was spectacular, very clean and had a cute cozy vibe!!
- Jeff (9/5): -
- Maria Elisa (10/5): Overall it was a nice stay. - The owners are very nice to deal with.
The place was very relaxing and nice. Maybe improve the washroom.
- Sager (8/5): - Beautiful spot, fun "building" No shower
- Вікторія (10/5): -
- Kathleen (9/5): Just Lovely for a glamping experience. - It was quiet and stunning setting. We were there while a storm blew in and the sound of the wind and rain on the dome was so relaxing. We had the furthest dome from the bathroom facilities so it was a bit of a trek but worth the quiet setting.
Top ! -
- Lynda (7/5): - Unique experience. Very clean. Appreciated the electric hot water kettle. Port-a-potty could have been closer to the dome. A little hard to find. The door on the dome was difficult to close.
- Anna (10/5): - Very nice place, but was cold on the night
- Claire (9/5): - Beautiful property with amazing views overlooking the mountains. Owners were very responsive in their messaging.
- Leitch (8/5): -
- Erin (10/5): My family and I had an amazing stay and enjoyed every minute of nature’s beauty. - Cute set up, Mountain View, home like feeling, comfortable beds and warm blankets, very quiet and peaceful. The only thing is the cell service is not good which would be expected being so the to the mountain. Maybe just have that information on the website so guest can be prepared. (Printed off maps to find location)
- Pawan (8/5): A peaceful escape with stunning views - The views were breathtaking, the beds super comfy, and the scenic drive to the domes, just loved it. Loved the cozy fire pit outside and really appreciated the extra blankets thoughtfully provided by the hosts! One major downside was that the electricity went out just a couple of hours after we arrived, which was disappointing.
- Konrad (9/5): - perfect location in a beautiful nature
- Bernadette (10/5): Absolutely amazing - Absolutely amazing!
The dome was really cozy and warm. It was so peaceful.
The management team were superb and went above and beyond.
The facilities and accommodation was high class
Would highly recommend Nothing- it was 10/10
- Katherine (6/5): It's a "glamping" experience not a "cabin" experience. - Views, exceptional. Beds very comfortable and warm The promotions for the yurt did not make clear that the the toilet facilities were an outhouse and there was no indoor plumbing in the yurt. Nor did it make clear that wash cloths and towels were not provided. It was advertised as "cabins" -- it should be advertised as "glamping". This is what it actually is. The yurt sleeps four but there are only 2 armchairs to enjoy the view--the ONLY attraction. If it sleeps four adults, then four armchairs ought to be provided in the unit. There is space to do so.
- Brittany (9/5): Fantastic experience! - Quiet, a lot of room, beautiful views inside and outside. The beds were extremely comfortable! The temperature was difficult to control as it was so hot and then at night, so cold! Maybe having a magnetic screen for the dome door as it helped to cool it down but we didn’t want bugs in our dome either! StarLink or a stronger internet could’ve been more convenient.
- Routledge (8/5): Unusual, but beautiful. - The location was out of the way, but very beautiful. The beds were comfy. There is not a restroom in the room. There is a shared bathroom that is a bit of the of a walk at night.
- Yuhong (3/5): no water,no bathroom,so cold -
- Maksim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (6/5): Beautiful but needs a few little extras. - The domes are beautiful, it’s quiet and the beds are very comfortable. It’s impeccably clean and the owners are great in communication. The lack of amenities. I knew there wasn’t showers etc. However I think for the money at least a kettle or a mini fridge could be provided. The dome we were in had no outdoor seating either, so it was hard to sit outside. I see showers are in the works which is a big plus, something to help a little with day to day for the price you pay. I absolutely loved it, and will probably return, just with all my camping equipment/chairs etc.
- Vermeersch (9/5): Superb - The view and the quiet. The beds were comfortable and blankets kept up very warm and cozy. Love that you are dog friendly too!!! No map of property to find the washrooms. Coffee and water would be a wonderful addition too.
- Cristina (3/5): Drinking water, running water, showers, and flush toillet is expected at this price— - Great views No running or drinking water— no showers, toilet far and away — no flush/-
Dome is freezing cold during night-/ and extremely hot at mid-day
- Prashant (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marika (9/5): Superb - Amazing view, unforgettable experience.
Really amazing views and comfy beds.
No wifi but electricity.
Would definitely recommend 😊
Very cool setup! The bathrooms are functional for the most part
There was one instance where the lights/water went off and turning the switch off and on again didn't work
That was a minor issue though.
- Ruth (10/5): Great relax :) - Absolutely amazing setting and the views! N/A
- Robbin (7/5): Great views, comfortable domes, washroom reliability needs improvement. - Great views, comfortable beds, very clean Bathroom! The solar power and battery for the pump was inadequate, meaning that we could not use the water to flush or wash hands both mornings. Also need some location to easily wash up dishes or at least dump gray water; folks staying are camping/cooking (due to isolation), so need to be able to be hygienic with equipment.
- Allison (8/5): Fun and unique in a great location - The dome's in a scenic location and the drive to get there is lovely. Beds were comfy and warm, view from the front is great (or would have been if it hadn't rained). Only noise was the cows and coyotes. Host communication was excellent with clear instructions on getting in and turning on the solar. I've always wanted to stay in one of these and I'm happy I did. It's entirely self catering - there's no tea/coffee/kettle, fridge or microwave and it's 20km to the nearest town to eat. Thankfully I was on my way to camp and had everything I needed with me, or I'd have been going out in the rain! So heads up if you're planning a weekend here. And there's a nice outhouse a short walk from the dome but no showers on site.
- Ron (8/5): Cute, Quiet and quaint - It was quiet and comfy. Beautiful view No power, per say, just an outlet run by solar power. Bathrooms were far away with no lights to get there.
- Karl (9/5): Superb -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patricia (9/5): We had a great time and spending 1 night we wish to have more time to stay soaking the view. - The view is stunning walking up into, inside the dome is really nice, comfy bed and clean. Peaceful place
- Markus (8/5): Perfect accommodation for a stay in complete tranquillity - The accommodation was extremely quiet, very clean and close to the usa border. There was perhaps a lack of "attention to detail" and personality.
- Carmela (5/5): For non-camper looking for convenience this is the start.but the animal noises is not pleasant. - The view. The all sort of animal noises in the middle of the night.
- Matthew (9/5): It was a great clamping experience. - Amazing views! Nice and clean Bathroom, very short drive away from Police outpost lake.
