• Valentine (10/5): - Nous avons adoré cet appartement situé au coeur des rues piétonnes d'Orta San Giulio. C'est un très bon endroit pour profiter à pied des rues, il y a beaucoup de choses à voir sur place, notamment l'île en face accessible en petit bateau (5€) et le Sacro Monte consacré à St François. L'appartement est confortable et très calme, nous avons pu nous reposer et profiter des restaurants à proximité sans pour autant avoir de bruit. Un système de carte très pratique nous a permis de nous garer dans un grand parking juste à l'extérieur du centre, très facile d'accès. Notre hôtesse était charmante et nous a accueillie et guidée de la voiture à l'appartement, nous avons apprécié avoir un vrai contact (contrairement à une boîte à clé impersonnelle).

• Deborah (10/5): Perfect apartment in beautiful town - The apartment was full of character, very spacious even for 3 adults and spotlessly clean. Giusi had equipped the apartment with everything we could want and had also left water, drinks, butter, biscuits etc in the apartment for us which was a lovely touch. There's a double sofa bed which is easy to fold away during the day. We met her at the car park and she gave us a pass so we could park for free, she then walked us the 5 mins to the apartment. It is set right in the middle of the beautiful old town just a few yards from the centre with lots of fabulous restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Giusi was always so friendly and happy to help, even meeting us part way through our stay with a spare key as we'd locked ours in the apartment (sorry Giusi!!). Orta San Giulio is beautiful and full of unexpected spots. The municipal garden a few yards from the apartment is fabulous and a peaceful spot to sit and take in the views and the fragrant wisteria, although can get busy when tour groups pass through. April is a good time to visit as I can imagine it would be packed in high season! The central location of the apartment made us feel like locals, especially when popping to the bakery in the early morning when there was hardly anyone else around. We were sad to leave but will hopefully return and would definitely stay at Il Sasso again. Thank you Giusi for being the perfect host x Nothing, it was perfect!

• Kristina (9/5): Wow, jeder der dort Urlaub machen kann, kann sich absolut wohlfühlen!!! - Ein perfekt eingerichtetes und ausgestattetes Apartment an einem wunderschönen, idyllischen Ort. Die Eigentümerin, ein Juwel, sehr gastfreundlich, unterstützend und einfach charmant. Das ich meinen Müll nicht selber entsorgen konnte, es ist mir unangenehm gewesen den kompletten Müll, Papier, Plastik, Glas usw. der Besitzerin zu hinterlassen.

• Karin (10/5): Toller Aufenthalt - Tolle Kommunikation vor der Anreise. Wir haben eine Parkkarte für das Parkhaus bekommen, von da kann man die Koffer bequem in den Ort rollen. Giulia ist sehr freundlich und bemüht, dass alles passt. Das Apartment ist wunderbar ausgestattet und hat mehr als man braucht. Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Sehr empfehlenswert.

The parking arrangement was perfect. The apartment was extremely well located and catered for our every needs. It had all the mod cons and breakfast was such a bonus. Nothing at all.
• Robert (8/5): Beautifuol spot. - Stunning location being in the centre of the historic village, nice owner, nice cafes, walks etc, lovely people. The owner spoke very little English and I speak very little Italian. She gave me the number for a taxi to take me to the station, but I got no reply, and had to walk the 2 km with my case (I left plenty of time for this and caught the train). Also, when leaving, I had to leave the flat, go down stone twisty steps to main entrance and door, unlock it, then go upstairs again to leave the keys in the flat kitchen, bang the door shut, go down and out through the main door, and shut that! I am aged 86!

• Iain (10/5): Excellent accommodation right in the middle of San Giulio - Excellent accommodation right in the middle of San Giulio! Everything you would wish for is here. There was a very good fan but the addition of air conditioning would be a big bonus.
