- Teresa (6/5): Disappointed - No information about check in. Host didn't reply to text or emails. Full address not provided. Heating in lounge not working
- Dale (3/5): Never again - Nothing Dirty , uncomfortable and expensive
- Jen Martin (10/5): - Lovely apartment just what we needed. Bed was super comfortable and place was very clean. Couldn't of asked for better to be honest.
Well situated from local shops and restaurants and only a 14 min walk to Watford junction for to get the Harry Potter shuttle if that's what your there for.
Would defo come back.
- kitty (5/5): Basic and ok for short stays - Close to Watford North station. Perfect for a couple, had the basics of what we needed like cups, toilet bowl and towels, Found a street park and was good and close to shops. Owner was helpful if I needed anything or had a problem. Location was hard to find as satnav put in 7 2, but it was 46 but owner was helpful double bed was itchy and uncomfortable so for bed didn't pull out properly and had to sleep on the sofa for the first night. And there was only one hot water a tank. We left a day early because we didn't have much sleep due to the beds. No batteries in the TV mode and no name on the modem. Just the password
- Coggin (7/5): - Good location and easy to find
- Mitchell (8/5): -
- Mihaita (3/5): Poor - Nothing Cold ,dirty ,
- Olga (9/5): Overall it was a pleasant experience - We had a very good time, the host was very nice and responsive , he even bought us a pot, as we wanted to cook a soup. The bed was super comfy, we slept very well. Harry Potter theme add a playful mood. You need to consider that the hot water is limited, fine for the shower but not for the bath. Very nice place to stay overall. We didn't get how the washing machine works.
- Jamie (2/5): If you’re staying, maybe bring some cleaning spray and your own bedding - Location for warner bros studio tour is great. The studios are a 4 minute drive away feom the property with a easy to access Tim Hortons on route for an early start coffee! Decoration of the apartment was nice and helped with getting the kids excited for their studio visit the next day. Apartment is was also well equipped with crockery etc We were not supplied with the key code until we called for the information on the day of our arrival. On said phone call we were informed the host had no idea we were staying in the property, when I asked how we get into the property he said there was a communal door and that he may leave a key outside or to just ring some one else's buzzer if the main door was locked and we can't get in. We were also informed that the post code on booking.com was wrong and to just Google the first line of the address and that's how you find the property - we did so and ended up being taken nearly to central London and incurring a ulez charge we otherwise would have avoided and an additional 50 minutes in the car. When we arrived to the property, the sheet supplied for the sofa bed was stained, had black mould on it and unusable, the coffee in the pot seemed to have been there a very long time and the bottom layer had compacted and did not look palletable and the tea bags were stained and didnt look very fresh, there was black mould in the bathroom, the counters were just generally grubby and one of the supplied towels had a questionable brown stain on it. The floor wasn’t very clean and the entire apartment just felt a bit grubby, not ideal with 2 little kids, luckily we had bought the children’s pillows from home. The free parking described was actually just first come first served on street parking and the free WiFi mentioned on the booking.com ad offered no connection so we were unable to connect for our first evening there. After liasing with the host we were told to connect to the 'guest account' but this does not exist. Eventually we did manage to locate the password and connect for the rest of the stay to which the host asked me what the code was and where I had found it.
- Claire (2/5): Very poor - The decorations were really good There is black mold in the bathroom. The sofa cannot be sat on, it slopes forward, even under my small sons weight. We were sitting on the floor. The bed is like a rock. The outside door was hard to open so we were outside trying to open it for 5 minutes every time we returned. Parking was very difficult. It shouldn't be listed, it needs a professional clean and a new sofa. It is dangerously unclean. I'm very unhappy as I have my small son with me. The pin given on booking.com is incorrect so we had to contact to get inside as well, making everything take longer
- Danish (5/5): Passable -
- Jayne (5/5): Convenient but needs a bit of TLC - The location of the property was great. The train station and shops were on the door step. The area was quiet. The property listed as private parking but it was street parking only. It was a busy narrow street but we were able to get a space close by every day. The property could have been cleaner, we used a dustpan and brush to sweep up toe nails from the sofa bed. The sheets had stains on. There was only 2 small towels and 2 medium towels for 4 people and nothing to hang them on in the bathroom.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location and my kids loved the theme.
- Jeanette (9/5): Superb - This was a lovely, cozy apartment with a Harry Potter theme.
The apartment was clean and had all the items we required for our stay.
The owner was very helpful when google maps directed us to the wrong place.
It is very close to the Watford North train station. There was also a grocery store and a large number of takeaway options close by.
- Michelle (8/5): Very good - The host was extremely helpful and replied promtly It was adequate but a little small for 4 adults
- Faye (6/5): Very budget but did the job for a short stay - Good price for between 3 people and easy to get to London with a 20 min walk to the main Watford station. Owner was very nice on the phone. Pretty uncomfortable beds. Only one bath towel for three booked adults and no bath mat, bathroom bin, towel rail or hooks etc. Decorating is very cheap and is kind of slapped on, all lamp shades still have wrappers on. No WiFi code provided and gone off milk left in the fridge.
- Hayley (9/5): We had a wonderful, comfortable stay and recommend - It was wonderfully themed which my son and I loved. It had everything we needed for a nights stay. Very close to Harry Potter World and shops/takeaways nearby. Nothing
