- Sherilyn (8/5): Great stay - Such a great manager and staff. I was collected from the airport at 6am and taken to the hotel. I was allowed to check-in to my room at this time and rest. The manager was very helpful in teaching me how to use the Chinese phone apps It was unfortunate how far it was from the city centre. But good location for being near the airport and Haichang Ocean Park
- eddie (10/5): - Well. Pleasantly surprised. From the moment Austin picked me up from Pudong Airport, just perfect. Good breakfast, fantastic room , shower etc. The garden area is very beautiful with walkways and bridges over and around the water. On returning to the hotel before flying out, left my phone in a taxi late at night, , Austin and his team helped locate the driver and it was returned the next morning. Lost for words in this amazing country.

- Simon (8/5): - Spacious room and the bath was a nice little extra. Shuttle service to/from PVG is great. I wasn't informed at check-in that breakfast is 500m away and one needs to take a buggy ride to get there. When I came down in the morning, there was noone to be seen, no breakfast and no information. After 15m Austin appeared and explained how it worked. Rooms are in need of a little renovation here and there. The area is a ghost-town bisected by multiple highways. Don't make the mistake I did - trying to walk to nearby restaurants. A dark and oppressive 15 min walk and all I could find was street food vendors and what I think was a university campus.

- David (10/5): Juste parfait - J'étais en nuit transitaire avant de récupérer un autre vol le lendemain, la personne de l'accueil parlait très bien anglais et était super sympa, il m'a organisé un petit déjeuner en dehors des horaires d'ouverture habituel spécialement pour moi et comme le taxi qui devait me récupérer le matin n'était pas à l'heure il m'a lui même amené à l'aéroport avec son véhicule personnel. Si vous devez passer une nuit à Shangaï entre 2 vols vous êtes au bon endroit j'y retournerai les yeux fermés !

- Anastasia (10/5): Идеальный отдых - Мы остановились в отеле во время транзита в Шанхае. И это было лучшее что мы могли сделать. Отель предоставил трансфер. Водитель встретил нас с табличкой. В пути примерно 15 минут и вы попадаете в тихую зеленую деревню. Номер был просто огромным, а кровать супер удобной. Все было идеально чистым. Завтрак подается в соседнем здании, так что мы прогулялись утром вдоль местных садов. Очень красиво. Вечером смогли поплавать в бассейне. После долгого перелета это было идеально. Персонал был очень вежливым и старался сделать наше пребывание максимально комфортным. Обязательно вернемся снова! Все прекрасно.

- Annette (8/5): Tolles Hotel für ein paar Tage, um diesen Teil Shanghais kennenzulernen. - Das Hotel lag in der Nähe des Dishui Lakes und des Safariparks. Nach 10 Tagen in Shanghai in einem anderen Hotel war die Lage für uns toll, um einen anderen Teil (und in der Nähe des Flughafens) kennenzulernen. Wir durften in einem 5 min entfernten Outdoorpool schwimmen, man konnte abends dort (in einem deutschen Restaurant) essen und alle waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Für das Zurücklassen dreier Bücher haben wir abends ein Tablett mit zwei Bieren und Popcorn bekommen:-) Das Frühstück war in einem anderen Gebäude, aber es war lecker und vielseitig! Es gab für uns nichts auszusetzen.

- Елена (10/5): - Очень близко к аэропорту, минут 15 на авто. Тишина, как за городом. Номер превосходный, пушистые полотенца, белоснежное постельное бельё, уютные махровые халаты и тапочки. Европейская розетка тоже была.Завтрак для нас был непривычный, но всё было вкусно. Яичница, сосиски, фрукты,кофе- были. Также много продуктов, которые мы видели впервые. Хозяин очень любезный человек, хорошо говорит на английском. Оплатить можно наличными, картой или алипей. Для транзита через Шанхай -лучший вариант. Но если планируете оставаться подольше, то стоит учитывать, что добираться в центр долго, на такси -дороговато.

It’s a little bit of a hike from the subway but there is a bus that takes you there every 20ish minutes. All-in-all, a great experience!

The room was very big, modern, clean and well equipped. The property looks very clean and I think is newly renovated. I stayed 4 night. and very delicious breakfast. wi-fi was poor connection in my room maybe some issue. In the case of the hotel, it is far from the center, Shanghai, you need a taxi, or the cheap option, But my intention was to stay close to airport. i think it's interesting fact to travel.

- Pawel (10/5): Great owner and good place for long layover - The owner/main manager it is very good and helpful person, he is helpful with everything travel related. The room was very big, modern, clean and well equipped. The property looks very clean and I think is newly renovated. I stayed only one night as it was my layover, I managed to get to city for couple of hours. There is bus stop outside of the hotel which bring you to the metro station I think is 3km, then you can use metro to downtown and other areas. The location is bit tricky as there is no direct connection by public transport, you need to take metro then bus and will take some time. Be careful when travelling by taxi from airport I paid triple price as I should. For best and fastest way contact the property the owner will make sure that you arrive to the hotel fast and in a good price.

- Sam (10/5): Great hospitality! - We had a great 1 x night stay at the Shushe Hotel for an overnight connection at PVG. So we were only at the hotel from 4pm until 9am the next morning. The manager Austin could not have been more helpful. He personally picked us up from the airport (90RMB). And he helped with translation and information. We had dinner in the German Restaurant downstairs (tasty and good atmosphere!) and then breakfast (included) a short buggy ride down the road. Great grounds/private park area that the hotel wraps around with a small playground for the kids. Nothing!

The hotel has great accomodations and full breakfast with plenty of plates. Shuttle bus may pick you up and get to the restaurant. To the centre of Shanghai it's easy to get on metro. Anyway next time I would prefer this hotel with big garden and sightseeing views instead of central staying with poor breakfastes.

Breakfast every morning was high quality, fresh and all you can eat. The German restaurant was a wonderful addition, I ate there my entire stay. All items on the menu were excellent. Management and staff really go beyond and above to ensure a pleasant stay. Will definitely come back when in Shanghai again. I don't have anything negative to say. I would suggest though, if you need to head downtown Shanghai, a little forward thinking could save some time. The hotel is nicely located not too far from the airport.
- Primoz (10/5): Modern, beautiful hotel near the airport for a great value. - Exceeded my expectations! Everything was great. I loved their breakfast, which was buffet style with a lot of fresh cooked choices and traditional Chinese foods as well as western foods. The staff were very kind and helpful, had a great small chat with them. The surroundings are beautiful, with a small park within the hotel area, built in traditional Chinese architecture with a small waterfall, koi fish pond, many small lovely bridges and benches to seat on and enjoy the view and sounds. The room was beautiful and modern. I don't have any complaints at all.
- Chia (10/5): Exceptional - Stayed at Shushe during a 21hr layover and couldn’t be happier with my experience. It’s a new hotel so they upgraded my booking to a bigger room with TV (Chinese shows mainly), comfortable bed, tub, amazing sunlight during the daytime; not to mention how clean and new everything is. The owner of the hotel also owns a biotech company nearby in which the gym and the pool actually reside, but can be reached by golf cart on request or by foot (about 7min walk). The staff was also super helpful when I needed help calling a taxi. Didn’t have the chance to have the breakfast buffet (next to the gym) or dine at their German restaurant but overall the hotel had a good atmosphere, was nice to have a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There was no mini fridge in the room, but since my stay was only for a night I didn’t need it.

He is an amazing person, who took care of me having the most comfortable stay possible. Communication was easy and fast. He was constantly paying attention to whatever I might needed, like access to a fridge or help getting to the breakfast salon or the fitness facilities. He was very very friendly and showed me around the hotel, as well as told me the story of the business - very interesting. He provided an excellent and sublime service, really one of the best I have ever experienced as a traveller. The hotel facilities were amazing, clean, comfortable and also very beautiful. The breakfast area was very nicely decorated and had fabulous aesthetics. The food was very nice and the offered me a complimentary Shanghai noodles specialty so that I could try it before leaving. The gym is very well equipped too. A shuttle was organized for me and was able to pay by card at the hotel itself. I am very happy with my stay at this hotel and would very much recommend. It is a new hotel with a very interesting story. The breakfast and fitness facilities were a bit far, but it was not really a problem. The walk there was very nice.
- Greg (10/5): Beautiful hotel with top quality staff. - The rooms are spacious and clean and there is a lovely German restaurant and bar at the bottom floor. There is a cool water feature with bridge like walkways over it. But the real standout was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
