• Wilme (6/5): Tranquil - This room is in a lovely leafy, tranquil spot. The heaters in the bedroom and bathroom were welcome. I liked that the was a table and chairs to eat and work at. Kitchen is adequate for heating food with the microwave and preparing simple meals only. The bed has a headboard that was uncomfortable when sitting up, reading in bed. This place is convenient, but nothing special, no added caring touches. Bad weather influenced the rural Internet reception - perhaps a once-off. Not a good choice to work from for me (online video calls most of the day). Better bed lamps would have been nice. No cooking facilities apart from microwave.

• Mark (10/5): Great quiet accommodation. - Very quiet place in a good location for our needs. Very clean modern and spacious accommodation. Beautiful view of garden with autumn leaves on the rows of pin oak trees in the driveway. Very windy road to reach the place.

• VixRee (9/5): Calm atmosphere, beautiful surroundings - The location is definitely off the beaten track so you need to bring everything you need in terms of essentials, however the owners did provide milk, tea, coffee etc. The options for preparing food are limited no hob or airfryer but we ate out so it wasn't too much of a hassle. We were surrounded by nature and the peace and quiet was amazing. There was nothing to dislike.
• Joanne (8/5): Great spot just out of town - Loved the location, the cows in the paddock next door. Everything you need was there. No outdoor seating, the table was there but no chairs.
• Cheryl (10/5): Pleasant location with farmland views and very quiet, and helpful owners - Great cereals and coffee and tea I didn't know about casting the TV and so needed to contact the owner to get the TV working - they were great about it and succeeded.

• Trina (10/5): Comfortable, private, warm, stunning views and affordable. - The property was the perfect size for our stay. Very quiet and peaceful, lovely surrounding views and at night there were fairy lights to help guide the way up. Met two beautiful and friendly dogs who showed us the way to the house upon arrival. Bed and pillows were comfortable, TV was easy to use and the shower had great water pressure. The hosts were accommodating and so helpful and we can’t thank them enough for the amazing stay! Definitely must come back again in the near future. Nothing to add. Everything was great.

• Stacey (9/5): Peaceful retreat - The location was beautiful. The cabin was cosy and clean. It worked well for us traveling down to the South Island before getting the ferry. Everything was great besides the lumpy pillows, but that wouldn't stop me coming again.

• Porter (10/5): Warm and homely stay - It was warm and comfortable and a lot more spacious than I was expecting for a studio. I loved how homely it felt. The idyllic countryside made for a very beautiful stay. The driveway is absolutely stunning and we got some amazing photos for our wedding.

• Mandy (8/5): Lovely secluded spot with clean and comfortable accommodation. - A lovely peaceful location, quiet and private. The room was very clean and comfortable, the shower was great and the kitchen had everything I needed. Will definitely stay again. Was a lovely getaway alone for some time to re charge prior to Christmas. Tried for an hour to get the TV working, downloaded the app etc but didn’t have any luck. Paid $19.99 for the app so a little disappointing, but didn’t make the break any less enjoyable.

• David (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, even the two beautiful German shepherds that greeted us on both days we stayed there. TV was a bit tricky to sort out as the only way if works is if you cast from a phone or tablet,had to get help from owner to get it sussed,no worries though.

• Stephen (8/5): Very good - Enjoyed the peace and tranquility and of course the outlook. The layout of the unit was very good . These things did not concern me but were noted. The TV was not functioning and the tea bag jar was empty on arrival.
• Jean (9/5): Lovely accommodation and owners. - Comfortable, clean, attractive accommodation. Quiet. Very friendly and helpful owners. Neighbour's horses wandered in to visit (it really is rural). Great to be able to plug the car in on the three pin plug by the parking spot (and pay for the electricity of course). We arranged this with the owners before booking.

We’ve told our friends and family all about it 🥰 - Loved the location and how quiet it was Our only suggestion would be to have some type of Netflix or streaming option on the tv as we couldn’t make it connect to the internet or hotspot it to the watch a movie in the evening. Other than that we had a great time!
• B (10/5): Exceptional - Didn't have any expectations beforehand, was pleasantly blown away upon arrival. Unit is very well appointed, unsure how long its been operating but gave off the vibe of being virtually brand new - a definite credit to owners. The bed is exceptional! Felt like sleeping on a cloud! I only have one piece of constructive criticism - i loved the aesthetics of the polished concrete floor but very cold in the middle of winter. Easily remedied with socks though.

It would be nice if it had a little cook top for light meals like soup or just frying eggs.. but regardless we loved it! Never saw a single person while we were there
• Peter (8/5): Yeah, nice but a few tweaks would make it excellent. - Location, privacy, quiet, great shower.. Floor is a bit cold. Maybe a rug would help. Only one choice for breakfast and hard to tell how fresh. No bread for toast , old sugar.

• Jess (9/5): Great place for one to two people to escape and rest in the country. - Perfect for what I needed. Lovely spot, felt private and secure. Kitchen had nice tea and coffee. Bed was comfortable. Wifi was easy to access. Eco friendly Shampoo, Conditioner & Body Wash provided. The road up from Silverstream to Whiteman's valley is windy, and a little bit scary, but once you get to the top its fine.

• Patricia (8/5): Very good - Location was beautiful, peaceful and green The coffee, the jar says nescafe but if it was actual nescafe I would have only needed 1 teaspoon not 3. But thats the only criticism and it wouldn't stop me from staying again. It was definitely worth it.

Outdoor furniture was aged & a little unsafe. Also it was a little disruptive hearing talking & noises in the attached shed late at night.

Nice and clean and great facilities/equipment. Was a bit noisy with people going into the adjoining shed that night (though being a farm, maybe was an animal emergency)

• Damon (10/5): Really friendly people in a quiet area with two super fluffy dogs running around one of the paddock. - Was a stunning spot, and decently priced, with friendly people and a short drive into town. A stove top or single burner would be nice but it isn't super needed. Also had some wifi issues due to a storm but they weren't a problem as there was plenty of phone and data reception at the house.
