The room was spacious, very clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The breakfast was excellent .What truly stood out was the staff — everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Overall, this is easily one of the best hotels we have stayed in, and we would definitely come back again. Everything was perfect!

The rooms are large and spacious. The staff was excellent and helpful. They provided free pick up and drop off from the train station.

• nancy (10/5): Absolutely delightful! - This hotel was a delight. Amazing service, gorgeous room, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. In Japan, the beds, even Western style, are quite hard. Linens are terrific but do expect, even in a lovely hotel, that the mattresses are very firm.

• Holly (10/5): Beautiful & great location. - Close to the train station, close to the shrines. The items provided in the room are very high quality, and the PJ’s are SO soft & cozy. Beds were comfy & sheets so soft. I feel it should have provided amenities like breakfast and dinner for the price I paid. This is not a ryokan, which was disappointing. I am use to paying a steep cost and receiving more luxurious benefits & a focus on keen details. The units are nice but they have been lived in - evidence by the water damage & cut outs on ceiling.

• Glauce (10/5): - Location is perfect to explore the temples and to be in a more quiet area, still with shops very near. The staff is so amazing and kind. The rooms are neat and very spacious. The onsen on every floor is a treat with good amenities. This a hotel that I totally stay again!
• YCormier (10/5): Quiet, comfortable stay with easy access to 4 Temples/Shrines & wonderful private spa facilities. - The Nikko Nishimachi Club a la touto is located within a short walking distance to 4 area Temples/Shrines. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. The hotel offers wonderful private spa access on each floor which can be reserved in advance (there is a nominal spa tax which is paid during checkout). Some free drinks were provided in the room fridge along with some simple snacks (chips/crisps). Bathrobes, pajamas and quality toiletries are also provided. The staff was very courteous and helpful, always using a translation app when needed to ensure a clear understanding. Local cafes and restaurants can have odd hours or closing days, so just be aware. The Indian restaurant above the nearby Lawsons was very good, as well as the crepes in the cafe next door, when open. A visit to the local tourist information center was very helpful. The hotel reimbursed our taxi fees from the train station upon arrival and welcomed us with a glass of wine or juice, which was lovely. They also provided transportation back to the train station after checkout.

The hotel’s location is perfect for a visit to the Toshogu Shrine which is the main attraction in Nikko. The design of the room is nice, the beds are so comfortable, and it’s immaculate. They thought of everything- robes, pjs, slippers, free drinks & snacks, razors, makeup samples, etc. And free Haagen Dazs ice cream. I highly recommend that you have breakfast & dinner at the hotel-sooo delicious! There’s no onsen in the room, but you can sign up for a slot for 50 minutes. Happy with everything!

• Yin Ching (10/5): Wonderful experience, would HIGHLY recommend - Everything was fantastic. The room, the service, the location. In fact, the service from every staff we encountered was outstanding even though they didn’t speak English. They used their phones to translate every encounter and totally made sure they got us what we needed. The rooms were very comfortable and the same floor private onsen was very comfortable and well equipped. Little touches like free Haagen Dazs ice cream just added to the entire experience. Location is also just down the road from the UNESCO Heritage Temples and Shrines of Nikkō. Beautiful tree lined road too. Nothing

Staff was very helpful and friendly. In addition, two of our group forgot their passport in the safe when checking out... the staff was exceptional to make sure we could receive passports my mail and thus could continue our travels without any trouble. Coffee and tea facilities in room and nice a touch of a free mini bar. Near reception a small fridge where you can help your self to ice cream. Staff helpful and the breakfast was delicious. You can tell the staff take pride in their jobs. There is a private onsen near the rooms. You book your time and can enjoy a thermal spring bath experience in a private room and enjoy relaxing after the days sightseeing and hiking. Beds slightly on the firm side but that’s just a personal preference.

Absolutely wonderful staff was super friendly and helpful. Surprisingly good dinner. Big and good breakfast. Any complaint would be nit-picking. It’s a lovely place. Maybe the room was too warm and we couldn’t get the “mode” to switch from heating to cooling. But we opened the window and that worked.

• John (10/5): Fantastic Stay - We had a very memorable stay at this facility. The staff were truly outstanding and did everything to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. The room was spacious well appointed and clean, the onsite Onsen which can be reserved for private use and was very enjoyable. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of the local shrines etc, in addition the bus stop to pick transport to the National park is only a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The town of Nikko is very popular with day trippers who are transported via tour busses. Before 10am and after 4pm (when day trippers are absent) the town is very quiet and many businesses are closed so it is very challenging finding any restaurant that is open and serves breakfast or dinner. That said, the hotel serves excellent food, The breakfast was very enjoyable, Dinner is a 8 course French menu, everything was suburb and beautifully presented, and the service was excellent.
