• Devin (10/5): - The room was HUGE! There were 2 balconies and a big window that opened. The main balcony was huge and had an incredible view. We had breakfast and dinner there almost every night. We couldn't recommend this place enough. The King Suite is the way to go. There was even a big hot tub on the balcony. It was a nice quiet neighborhood and had an amazing food and wine place almost next door called Gargiulo's Bread and Wine. Nothing, everything was fabulous

Our room was spotlessly clean, beautiful design and comfortable bed. Staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful, the included breakfast service with a coastal view was great as well Our room had a strong cigarette smell upon entry each time. Whether that was from a vent, outside or just stuck in the room. It quickly goes away but was noticeable going in and out all day

• Matthew (5/5): Does not live up the expectations that you would expect at this price. - Staff very friendly and the room was absolutely spotless. It was not very clear from the listing that while there is not a terrace for the Mare room, the window is high up and so you do not have any view at all or even somewhere to sit in the room. The bathroom is also not separate from the room, as the wall only goes up about 75% of the way to the ceiling which was also not obvious in the listing. Also the breakfast, while lovely, was not at all adequate for the price being charged for this room. V basic with pastures and fruit, but you have to decide the night before the time you want it for even though it's not cooked fresh and have to pay extra for items like eggs and pancakes.

Would highly recomme - Such a stylish hotel with great view and individual style for each room. Staff were kind and helpful. They kindly upgraded us to a room with a view which made our one night stay so memorable. Fantastic view. Clean? Beautiful, comfortable bed, high ceilings. Stunning sea view and cute in room breakfast service. It is recently renovated and is absolutely clean and spacious. You need to climb up a few stairs to get to the hotel. But given the location it is normal. Loved the view.

The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, and the view from our terrace was simply amazing. We enjoyed a divine breakfast every morning on our balcony, which made the experience even more special. The location is ideal - quiet and peaceful, yet with lovely restaurants nearby, and just a 10-minute walk down to the center. The stairs were not a problem for us at all. Everything was excellent - we will definitely come back again! Nothing!

• Bjorn (10/5): Fantastisch verblijf in Positano – een echte aanrader! - We hadden oorspronkelijk een kamer geboekt bij Casa Caprile Positano, maar nog vóór aankomst kregen we al een bericht dat we een gratis upgrade kregen naar een kamer met meer zeezicht. Wat een leuke verrassing! Hiervoor werden we ondergebracht in Hotel Il Gabbiano, dat bij hetzelfde verblijf hoort voor ons helemaal geen probleem. De parkeerservice kost €40 per nacht en wordt volledig verzorgd door het personeel. Zij zijn werkelijk super attent, vriendelijk en altijd bereid om te helpen. Echt een 10 voor de service je wordt er volledig in de watten gelegd! Onze kamer was ruim, schoon en voorzien van een fijne douche. En het uitzicht op zee was simpelweg adembenemend. We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf. Een extra pluspunt: het ontbijt en drankjes worden op de kamer gebracht. Dat maakte het verblijf nog relaxter en persoonlijker. Kortom: een fantastische ervaring in Positano. We raden dit verblijf van harte aan en komen zeker graag nog eens terug! -

• erin (10/5): clean, great service, beautiful, comfortable - everything from booking our car service from Naples, to getting there and getting into our room was seamless. it is very clean, and the service is fantastic. the views are incredible! the breakfast service is delicious and prompt daily. upon checking in we were informed that the family owns the hotel across the street as well and we were able to use their out door jacuzzi tub which was incredible! you are set apart from the very touristy area down below too which is very relaxing. the hotel is higher up than I expected, so of course more stairs to get to. but that is no fault of the property. and worth it for the views.

Biz King suit oda (caprile) de kaldık terasta mükemmel manzaralı bir masa vardı kahvaltıyı terasta muhteşem manzara eşliğinde yaptık , kahvaltı için tercihinizi önceki günden odada olan formu doldurup resepsiyona bırakabiliyorsunuz saati de yazıyorsunuz ona göre sabah bir kahvaltı geliyor portakal suyu kahve kruvasan reçeller çok fazla seçenek var.. Odanın ufak bir mutfağı mevcut. Kahve makinası , bardaklar ,fincanlar tabaklar bulaşık makinası vardı . Balkon/Teras bölümünde ayrıca jakuzisi mevcut muhteşem manzaraya karşı rahatlayabilirsiniz.. arkada bahçesi var limon ağaçları begonviller tam bir cennet :) çok temizdi biraz daha kalmak isterdim.. vaktimiz kısıtlıydı. resepsiyondaki çalışan kadın çok güler yüzlü idi ve bize her şeyi tane tane anlattı. Ben memnun kaldım. Sitabus kullanarak positano merkezde indik biraz fazla basamak valizle çıkmamız gerekti .Yukarıya çıkmak biraz yorucu çok ağır valiz yapmayın derim ama manzaraya değer..

It was safe and fairly convenient, although so many stairs to get to, i think there were other hotels on our level as well. Clean and nice place Didnt really effect us but if this matters to some we couldnt see out of the window as it was so high up and the wall separating the bathroom from the room didnt go all the way up to the ceiling so there was no sound barrier

Een pluspunt is dat je kan ontbijten in het Hotel een paar trappen naar beneden. Daar kan he ontbijten met prachtig zicht op zee. Ook kan je gebruik maken van je jacuzzi in dit hotel! Super ervaring. Een echte aanrader, toch voor mensen die goed te been zijn. Om naar het centrum te gaan of het strand, moet je heel wat trappen doen. Alles was top.

Hotel Gabbiano. Only 26 steps from the road to the property. High windows so no view however it still let in a lot of light

Staff were lovely and interested in your day, beautiful ocean views from the kitchen for breakfast. Sauna and hot tub on site which we didn’t get to use but was a lovely surprise! The only thing I think should be flagged is the power outages that regularly occur in Positano. It’s out of their control and this isn’t necessarily a negative, but was very confusing for us not knowing what was going on/if it was one of our appliances.

• Michelle (10/5): If you stay, I recommend booking the suite. It is a unique room. - We were in the Caprile suite and it was absolutely gorgeous. One of the most beautiful rooms, and by far the best views, we have ever had in a room. Breakfast was delicious on the large deck with gorgeous views of the sea. The pictures don’t show this but there is also a small kitchen (fridge, table, sink) that we appreciated as well. It is a bit of a hike from town so be sure you can walk the steps. it’s also nice though to be away from the crowds.

It was our second time staying here and both times we have booked the King Suite with spa bath - just wow!! The room is huge with a large balcony and plunge pool. There is also a private courtyard out the back with lemon trees and a private entrance/exit to the room. The breakfast is phenomenal. The views are stunning from every window of the room and we love the location. The staff are also very lovely. We will keep coming back.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Their attentiveness truly made us feel at home. Our room had the most breathtaking views from a private balcony—complete with a hot tub! Watching the sunset from there was pure magic. The location is perfect—close to everything in Positano, yet still feels like a peaceful escape. And the breakfast? Out of this world! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared each morning. We can’t recommend Casa Caprile highly enough. It was an absolute highlight of our trip, and we’re already dreaming about coming back! Everything was perfect

The property gives amazing views of Positano and the breakfast brought to your room each morning was full of variety and meant you could enjoy the views from the balcony. We were upgraded upon arrival and it really made our trip perfect. The property is up a lot of stairs - but for the best views, this has to be the case. There is a bus running opposite the hotel which can take you to the property.

The apartment we stayed in was incredibly spacious and elegant but the real showstopper was the huge terrace with a heated jacuzzi pool—perfect for relaxing under the stars while gazing at the twinkling lights of Positano. And speaking of views—the panoramic vistas of the town and the Tyrrhenian Sea were breathtaking at any time of day*! Sunrise over the Amalfi Coast, painted in soft pastel hues, is a memory we’ll cherish forever. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast delivered straight to our room*—fresh croissants, juicy fruit, aromatic coffee, and local delicacies made each day start perfectly. I wholeheartedly recommend Casa Caprile to anyone dreaming of a luxurious escape in one of Italy’s most beautiful corners. Every detail here is thoughtfully designed, making guests feel truly special. We can’t wait to return! 💙
• Sarah (10/5): Perfect stay, fantastic hosts and incredible hotel! - We stayed for our honeymoon and were very kindly given a free upgrade to the Caprile Suite which was a beautiful suite with a balcony and terrace with hot tub. The staff were really welcoming and attentive, giving us everything we needed and more! We genuinely couldn’t fault it, our stay was perfect. The breakfast was delicious and we had a great selection to choose from. The suite had great facilities for tea and coffee, a minibar etc. We would love to return to Casa Caprile, it was the highlight of our trip to Italy, and we couldn’t recommend it enough. There was nothing at all we didn’t like
• Heather (10/5): Beautiful views & clean accommodation - Such a beautiful little hotel with incredible views and good service. Location is a 20 minute downhill walk to the centre of Positano. Parking was not free however with it costing us $40 for 24 hours but the car was stored in a safe location off the road! Breakfast was amazing with it being brought to the room & there was a wide selection to choose from. Would highly recommended for couples staying in Positano that prefer not to be in the busy centre.
