We were a large group of 5 families with kids tweens and teens, activities and accommodation were absolutely brilliant! Bit more lighting in tents

• Ciara (7/5): Fun outdoorsy weekend for the family - The tents were great and the bunk beds were good. Really liked the big porch and the bbq and picnic bench outside. We also booked to do a morning of activities with the sports centre on site. Our guide was excellent and we really enjoyed archery, the climbing wall and kayaking. It's only 30mins drive from lough key where we had a great day out on the zipwires.

• Michelle (8/5): Very good - Tranquil setting, yet plenty of outdoor activities to choose from, and plenty of space for children to play. Excellent host and very friendly and helpful staff.
• Suzanne (8/5): Defiantly worth a visit, we had a great stay here. - Staff where all so lovely and friendly, place was spotless, facilities excellent and the tent itself was amazing so spacious. There was 6 of us and we had plenty of space in the one tent. The biggest thing for us was that it was missing a fire pit. It’s not camping without being able to sit around a fire at night toast marshmallows and watch the flames dance. It’s a beautiful place but really lacks the true camp experience without this, for us anyway I’m sure lots of people can take or leave the fire. It’s a busy adventure centre so the only other down side was that after we went kayaking in the afternoon there was no hot water left in the showers and we were all freezing. If your staying make sure to shower in the morning or evening when it has time to heat again.

• Aoife (10/5): Wonderful relaxing family break - Really beautiful, peaceful location, staff were so helpful and welcoming, tent was perfect lots of space and dark enough for kids to sleep well!
• Sara (10/5): THE best time for families - We had the time of our lives! As someone who wouldn’t be the most ‘outdoorsy’, this was the perfect solution. The tents have double beds and bunk beds. There’s a lovely outdoor patios so it definitely doesn’t feel like the roughs of camping. The kids loved the activities. Surrounding towns and Longford are very close for dining and you can order in food. Tommy and his team are a pleasure to deal with. They couldn’t have done enough for us.

• Annette (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed here as a family with 5 children in two of the large tents very comfortable lots of room very peaceful the children loved everything about it spotless clean the host was amazing very helpful and friendly large big kitchen with everything you need for cooking and storing food in big fridge the weather wasn't on our side but we made the most of it with the children will definitely return next year 😀 Nothing everything was great

• Karen (10/5): Brilliant place to stay - Lovely place to unwind with Friends and Family and various activities for kids. None
• Venees (8/5): A great place to go for a short trip. - Everything Too cold in the night. Make sure bring your own duvet or buy the duvet pack from them.
• David (8/5): Very good - Location was great, facing on to a lake with a nice green area in front. My kids loved the Safari tents. Plenty of space and really comfortable. For families staying at the campsite I would recommend doing the activities offered at the adjoining adventure centre (campsite and adventure centre are part of the same site/management). We did archery, mud slide and canoeing. Staff were really friendly. There needs to be shower curtains in the communal shower area! I mentioned this to management and they indicated they were in the process of resolving that issue.
• Christina (10/5): Great outdoors adventure with the kids - Kids really enjoyed the camp we arrived on wed evening so they did camp Thursday but we left Friday morning and camp was on again but will diffo stay for longer next time! Showers
• Josephine (10/5): Best holiday ever - Everything was perfect I couldn't find anything wrong with the tent u could find everything u needed to cook n eat in the kitchen and a place to sit n eat. The staff are lovely u could ask them anything this place is out of this world I recommend it to anyone who wants to go n stay a weekend in it or a couple of days with the kids as they had a blast of a time staying in the Lovely tent 💯 per cent perfect place to stay the best holiday weekend ever Nothing is the best holiday weekend even if u couldn't find anything wrong with this place as a break away or a week away from everything we're u can sit n watch the river n have a couple of drinks n watch the we world go by n have a laugh n a joke n meet new people n have a laugh n a joke with them I be going back again next year with the kid's as they're didn't want to leave it they're wanted to stay n never leave it u can find everything u need the staff we're helpful u could ask them anything n they're get it for u no problem the tent was beautiful u had everything u need in it from the beds to the seating area inside n outside we're u can relax n watch the world go by n peace n quite is all u need
• Claire (4/5): My purpose of the stay was for a handball tournament,we arrived the Friday evening and my sons friend turned up late to - Clean,roomy Two sleeve toaster for the whole site,no shower curtains on showers,can’t pull the car up beside the tent,nowhere to dry towels after we arriving in the middle of a storm and had to dry ourselves and had no dry towels then for the weekend and a drier in the kitchen but was told I wasn’t allowed use it,was told off for kids plying music in showers and told off for a car driving into the yard late with a takeaway,they say safari style glamping,I’d say military style glamping would be a better description,very rude management

• Frances (8/5): Great. We enjoyed the kayaking safari on the lake with our guide Francis. - The safari tent was spotless and equipped with everything you would need (plates, cutlery etc). It was within cycling distance of Rooskey. The 3 toilets with 3 separate sinks and a ladies changing room with 3 showers without shower curtains isn’t enough to cater for the 4 safari tents and campers.

• Kathryn (6/5): Overall we had a pleasant stay. - Peaceful location Tent was clean & welcoming Squeaky double bed. Very strong smell of urine in the ladies toilets. Would have liked to be able to drive our car beside our tent.
