- Bronwyn (8/5): Very clean and well equiped for self contained eating. Exceptional locatiin for our Doubtful Sound day trip - Very clean and tidy with everything we needed A bit harder to keep warm in the cold rainy weather and could do with shelter over the doorway
- Cathryn (9/5): Comfortable cottage in a lake-side village in the majestic Fiordlands. - The host was very responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Thank you! We loved Manapouri village and our comfortable, clean cottage. Wonderful gateway to Doubtful Sound.
- Lorna (10/5): Manapouri Beach Haven - This was my second stay at Manapouri Beach Haven. Clean, tidy and comfortable with all the things you need. Handy to the dock for the trips to Doubtful Sound. Great friendly and timely communication from the owner too. I highly recommend this property to travelers.
- Nicolas (10/5): Perfectly located apartment for adventures in Fjordland - The contact with the host was nice and the apartment was large and clean. It was perfectly located near Te Anau and for trips to Milford or Doubtful Sound. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nothing to complain :)
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to stay. Lots of room, comfy, really good kitchen facilities and washing machine.
- Phil (10/5): Exceptional - This is a great place for a few days stay in Fiordland. The setting is quiet. It is a short walk to the boat for the Doubtful Sound cruise and is only a short 20km drive to Te Anau.
The accommodation was clean, comfortable and provided everything that is needed for a lengthy stay.
The washing machine got a good workout during our stay. It's not until you don't have them that you tend to notice the difference. It is a small detail but one which has a big impact.
I feel that there is nothing more inviting than to have clean, crisp white sheets on a bed and a selection of pillow types to choose from.
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and comfortable accommodation with plenty of good facilities for cooking. The area is peaceful and the owner was helpful and responsive to messages sent. Easy to drive to Te Anau which is a beautiful town with plenty to see. A really lovely 2 days in the area. Nothing, it was all great.
- Michelle (9/5): Great place to stay. - Ideal place to stay to take advantage of all the activity on Lake Manapouri and Doubtful Sound. Lovely place with everything you need.
- Joyce (9/5): Enjoyed our stay - A lovely and comfortable house with lots of space for parking. Well equipped with what we needed. Very convenient location if visiting Doubtful Sound which is only a few minutes drive away. There was a power outage in Manapouri/Te Anua basin during one of the evenings we were there. Host John got in touch and kept us updated. Thankfully it was a relatively short one. Would be good to have standby powerful torches on the premises should it ever happen again...

River views from the deck, and picnic table. Plenty of parking near the front door. Two bedrooms with comfortable beds provides for an excellent sleep each night.
