I felt at home right from the beginning, and my wonderful hosts were very warm-hearted and helpful and made my stay unforgettable. 100% recommendation!
• Alfred (10/5): Definitely gonna book Again - If you need peace and tranquility, this is the perfect place to stay, if you also want to be treated like a Royal Fam, then you wont go wrong. Mr Frank and his Son knows how to treat guests friendly.
• Michelle (7/5): I enjoyed my stay and it was good value for money - It's an old house so both the bathroom and bedroom was spacious, with high ceilings and beautiful bay windows. It is also clean, comfortable and the owner was friendly and helpful. But because it's an old house and doesn't have any modern furnishings or fittings, so it isn't eye catching or appealing. It is in a good area, but because it doesn't stand out I drove pass it and stopped in front of another house.

• Isobel (8/5): Stunning and spacious accommodation - Leicester house is stunning and the host Frank is a gem. The facilities are spacious and clean. High ceilings and much closet space for luggage. Really enjoying my stay and I will be back whenever I am in Kimberley. The host graciously provided laundry facilities at my request and also the use of his kitchen to cook-So grateful for that.

The vontage decor make the place extra homey. It wad exactly what we were looking for and couldn't ask for anymore. We are definitely coming back.

• Christophe (10/5): A wonderful guest house, with amazing hosts! - The room is really clean and well equipped. Around, there is a lovely garden. And the house is old and beautiful, full of history. If you want to sleep in the same house of some of the diamond magnates, this is the good place :) Last but not least, the father and the son who manage the place are lovely. They took me by car to do some shopping, drove me to big hole, the museum and even the areas around to show me some of the other mines. A stay I will definitely remember.

• Marius (9/5): - This was the Leicester House in Kimberley, where we stayed last night — and what a lovely surprise it turned out to be! 🌟 The place itself is full of character, history, and charm, with beautiful antiques and a warm, homely feel. Frank and his son were incredibly welcoming — friendly, down-to-earth, and always ready to help. I honestly didn’t expect to be this impressed — the experience far exceeded the price. In fact, I think they’re undercharging for what they offer, but it’s clearly a passion project in progress. If you want real value for money, genuine hospitality, and the kind of stay that feels like visiting old friends, you have to check out Leicester House. Let’s support them in taking this guest house to new heights — it’s truly a hidden gem in the making. 💎 The fact that I could not stay another day. Oh and I forgot to take pics but will def visit again.

• Zwergseepferdchen (10/5): Exceptional - This is a house with a character, a Victorian building in the heart of Belgravia, an area with many other Victorian mansions. The room is very spacious, comfortable bed, old furniture, big bathroom with a shower. Plenty of secure parking space, inside the fenced yard. We had interesting conversations on the history of Kimberley and diamond mining with the owner Frank. Really a place to recommend.
