- Peter (10/5): Great place to stay…might try the adjoining property next time, as has a hot tub. We accidentally broke a wine glass. Up - Easy to find

- Jakub (10/5): Perfect little cottage - Perfect little cottage in a quiet little village. Really clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the beach. The fireplace was definitely our favorite feature. Really recommend. Perfect value for the money.
- Hurst (9/5): - Very comfortable spacious apartment with a lovely river out back. Beds were very comfy. Lovely stay The stairs are very steep and the ceiling is low just to make you aware. But don't let it put you off staying.
- Navaneeth M (9/5): - The location and the view

- Sarah (10/5): Lovely cottage, everything we needed. - Comfortable and very clean

- Michael (10/5): We had a lovely time, thank you! - The property was clean, tidy and very convenient.
It worked well for our family with good access to Aberystwyth and beached. It was easy with the dog with a number of local gog walks. It was all good!

- Caroline (8/5): Lovely cottage with parking & outdoor seating. - The house is lovely. Clean & fresh. Well facilitated & the assigned parking space was welcome. Good shower. Comfy beds. Great kitchen. Cute garden area, overlooking the river. The early morning traffic noise. We stayed when it was hot & needed windows open.
The stairs. They are exceptionally narrow & steep.
- Medi (10/5): - Cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Location is good for long dog walks to the beach and for the Black Lion with it's good selection of food and drink
- David (10/5): A gorgeous stay in a homely and tastefully well equipped property - A lot of thought has been put into the property to ensure that all facilities and amenities were available to make it a home from home. Everything was tastefully done and I wish I could have stayed longer. I'm not a huge fan of the short shower screen as you have to ensure that you exercise extra caution to avoid water spillage. But this is very much a question of personal taste. This is really splitting hairs regards a lovely property.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Humphries (10/5): perfect place to stay comfy and quiet - it had everything we needed , the location was perfect as we have family 5 mins drive and fog friendly everything
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Johnbray69 (9/5): Superb - A beautiful cottage in a lovely village
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional - I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Nothing
- Corrabeth (10/5): Perfect cosy cottage, ideal bae to explore - Cosy, well equipped and very clean. Great base for exploring and nice pub in the village. Great communication had everything you needed and more. Nothing
- Nigel (9/5): Superb - The location of the house is excellent with an easy walk to the beach and amenities. This is a brilliant location to visit historic sites and tourist attractions. The house was compact with all the special added bits and equipment. The stay was too short.
- Marian (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely little cottage in a small, pretty coastal village. Well equipped and stylishly furnished. The Black Lion pub was only a short walk away and did great food. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future. Thank you! 😀
- Jennie (9/5): Superb -
- Caroline (8/5): Lovely mini break - Best kitchen set up! Really fab range of equipment, rare to have that much available.
Lovely outdoor space by the river. Great to have the firewood and fire. Tastefully decorated and some lovely touches like the small dressing tables and touch lamps. Very hard beds. OK for a couple of nights, but probably couldn't stand longer. Nothing a decent topper couldn't help, and some people are OK with really firm beds.
Personal taste, but the place could be lifted with a few more pictures on the walls. As felt a bit echoey and cold with mainly bare white walls.
- Hannah (9/5): Superb -
- Dorota (10/5): Very cosy, atmospheric and comfortable cottage. Everything spotlessly clean. We highly recommend! - Very cosy, atmospheric and comfortable cottage. High quality furniture and appliances, everything spotlessly clean. Modern furniture, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with new appliances, shower and bathtub, comfortable bedrooms and beds. Very good comunication with the host. We highly recommend!
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fun (8/5): unfriendly note for customers to read. - the wood banner was a treat. comfortable beds and furniture. no welcome pack, no dog bowl and not enough towels
- Victoria (10/5): A lovely modern cottage home. - I chose this location to do day trips in the car to other areas in Wales. The home was a perfect place to come back to in the evening, it was cosy and had everything to be self sufficient. We were travelling with our adult daughter so the space was more than comfortable. The house had everything a homely home would have. The fire wood arrangement was inconvenient. We expected a wood supply for 4 nights but only had one small basket for the first night with an option to purchase more from host. We didn’t plan very well so didn’t get to have a fire after the first night, this was meant to be the highlight of our stay. We weren’t cold but we had to crank up the heaters as it’s an old cottage. There was no tea or coffee which I was surprised as I was excited to see a tea pot and plunger but couldn’t use them when we arrived if I’d know this I would have brought some with me. These aren’t complaints because I absolutely loved my stay, it’s something that would have been useful to me had I known then I could pre plan for my stay.
- Freya (10/5): Cosy and peaceful - Quiet and cosy cottage with very comfy and spacious living room, and warm bedrooms. Loved seeing the wildlife from the kitchen window including a squirrel in the tree over the stream. Great location for exploring west Wales. The oven is not a fan oven so remember to follow the correct instructions when cooking food!
- David (8/5): Very good - Cottage is very nice and in a good location. Traffic noise 1st night, then we noticed windows were slightly open, closed them fully and then no noise from traffic.
- Kenneth (10/5): Loverly and relaxing - Everything was perfect for are stay, a loverly cottage with a great view and a little river running behind. Had everything you could possibly need in there, nice and quite instructions for all the appliances left just incase you was unsure about anything. Nice little pubs not far away with nice food. Even the neighbours were chatty and friendly , we would definitely stay again 10/10 from us Nothing at all couldn’t fault it
- Caz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karolina (10/5): Lovely short holiday - Very cozy house that made you feel at home. It had everything you need to relax. The kitchen was very well equipped. A plus was the small garden, perfect for morning coffee. With the windows closed, you couldn't hear the noise from the street, which we were a bit afraid of. My little pug was satisfied with our short stay 😊
Home is located in a small village close to the beach/sea (about 20 minutes on foot). If you need to buy basic things like milk or bread you can do it at the post office or Texaco. Everything was fantastic
- John (9/5): Superb - Situated in a great area
- Ali (8/5): Very good -
- Katie (10/5): Just perfect! - Like home from home
Super clean
All the comforts
Definitely recommend Nothing
- Gurpreet (10/5): Exceptional - Neat and clean everything was spot on
- Andrea (9/5): Absolutely perfect place to stay for a few days during our Daughters Graduation. - The location just enough out of Aberystwyth. The black lion at the end of the road makes a good steak.
Little walk over the Brook round the back for our spaniel. .. parking provided. Every item of kitchen equipment and dish washer was great .. proper holiday. My partners 6 ft 3 so the low door ways had him a few times. They are marked up as a warning ( more of a him problem ha ha )
- Sharon (8/5): Very good - Very clean and comfortable, spacious accommodation with a lovely view out the back Close to a road, parking down the road
Bathroom panels not clean on arrival
- Lisa (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great accommodation was immaculate, very comfortable with all amenities provided. Location was also great close to quiet beach ( about a mile) pub & village shop few hundred yards away and a short drive to nearby towns and attractions for days out, ideal location. Vacation was over to quickly, should of booked a longer break.
- Jorjia (10/5): Amazing place to spend a week! - We absolutely loved our stay here, the hosts kindly let us check in a bit earlier which was great after a very long drive!
The cottage is so well decorated, beautiful furnishings and kitchen. The whole place was spotless and everything you could possibly need was available. We felt comfy and secure and we wished we could stay forever in the beautiful place!
We came with our dogs and the area was perfect for beach and countryside walks.
Pub nearby is great and easily walkable and overall, an amazing week away. Thank you! Nothing!
- Daisy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (10/5): Gwalia Review. - Fantastic Cottage, Home from Home.Great Location. Leaving to come home ☹️
- Jane (10/5): Lovely cottage - ideally situated for coastal walks! - Everything, ideal location in fab little village close to coastal path & good local pub & cafe! Nothing
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place to stay.
Was staying alone as I was visiting family not too far away so a bit overkill for one but the price at the time was better than hotels etc nearby. Own parking spot, nice TV, great super fast WiFi, super comfortable bed and linen, lovely bathroom, great shower. Amazing kitchen. Everything was more than covered!!
Will definitely stay again.
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nara (10/5): Perfect stay with husband and son. Everything worked out well. - The place was lovely, clean and well equipped. Views from the back part of the cottage were very nice, there is a river that runs next to the terrace. You can eat outside. There are beautiful walks nearby, a nice costal path. A little too close to the road. If you want to walk to the corner store, there is no sidewalk. But that is not the fault of the cottage management.
- Krisztina (10/5): I can only recommend 👌 - We had a fantastic time in the cottage. It felt like home. Thank you xx
- Medi (10/5): A lovely stay in a comfortable house which had everything that we needed - Used a key code There was nothing we didn't like
- Rachel (8/5): Lovely house to relax in - The house was lovely and clean. The little garden looked over a stream. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great. Easy to access the house. No shower gel or equivalent was provided, we didn't bring our own, so this was a bit annoying. Would have been nice if there was some milk there. There was a log fire (and it was cold when we arrived), but (we think) it said you had to pay extra to use the logs - that's pretty petty.
- Daisy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Picturesque views in a modern comfortable cottage - The property was modern, clean and had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. Great location with picturesque views and only a 5 minute walk to the pub. Would definitely recommend and would certainly stay again.
- Bogumila (10/5): Cozy cottage in a perfect location - Cozy cottage with comfy beds and lovely fire place. Very clean, in perfect location - just 3 minutes to the beach and with stunning views! Very relaxing experience :) Nothing at all

- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Helen (9/5): Cosy cottage - Felt homely and cosy with a modern feel. Well equipt cottage with 2 toilets. Good off road parking. Let us in earier than expected which was very helpful The stairs were very steep. A welcome pack (tea bags milk) would have been an extra bonus on arrival.
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful cottage, very clean. Great views, just by the river. Nice warming fireplace. Beds so comfortable. Highly recommended 👌 Nothing
- Gillian (10/5): We have family in llanrhystud literally across the road so located so well - The area at the back of the cottage was super. Views & the river just superb! Kitchen was better equipped than mine!! Nice touches with the cake, soft drinks & wash products. Nothing!
- Jeff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roger (10/5): Exceptional - No tea towels
- Shauna (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (8/5): Very good - A clean and tidy house with all facilities you could need in a beautiful spot in Wales Scaffolding next door and a lot of noise due to it
- Claire (9/5): Superb - The facilities were excellent, it was clean and easy to find The stairs are a little awkward, I had a knee replacement and they weren't easy to get down, the top is very narrow to try and navigate down,
- Brittina (9/5): Cute, clean, cozy and comfortable - Lovely place, awesome wood stove and nice quiet area. We wish we had more time to stay and see the area. Excellent instructions and information left by owner. Bit chilly, but nice once we got the fire going, and there were clear instructions on how to make it warm so really not a big deal. Wish there was a dryer on site.
- Stefania (10/5): Pretty, warm, modern, comfortable, cosy - Modern kitchen, plenty of space for us 4, well thought out. The kids had plenty of room to share. 12 and 6 years old.
Very quiet and comfortable I didn't get to try the wood burner as it wasn't cold enough!

- Laura (10/5): Fabulous little cottage, ideal for a short getaway with peace and quiet. - The cottage was fabulous. It was spotlessly clean and so cosy. We were unable to use the oven as there were no instructions, and we didn't want to break it. Maybe leave an instruction booklet for us older ladies.
- Adam (9/5): Relaxing easy and very pleasant. - Location good. Cleanliness good. comfort good. Facilities good, parking good. There was no instructions for the oven but we were able to locate them on the www.

- Jennie (10/5): Hidden gem! - Absolutely beautiful, well presented and very good quality furnishings and linens.? Warm, cosy and with everything you could need. There was nothing that we could fault. We know this area very well and we weren’t put off by the fact it wasn’t central in a tourist hot spot. Local beach, pub, shop, church are all within minutes walk. Aberaeron is a 10 minute drive.
- Rhian (10/5): What a great find! - Had a really lovely and comfortable stay at this gorgeous cottage, everything was great with good shower, comfy bed, handy downstairs loo and all new appliances. Great TV too. Perfect for visits to Aberystwyth and Aberaeron. A great pub (Black Lion) within walking distance, lovely food and service. Great views of surrounding hills and a lovely river runs behind the backyard. Nothing, all was perfect.
