Guest Reviews
- Claire (10/5): - Wonderful family, friendly and great location Nothing
- Lissa (8/5): -
- Cephas (10/5): A peaceful place for a business traveling who also cherishes Family standard of a home. - The cleanliness and the service Nothing
- hans (6/5): -
- Celine (9/5): Superb -
- Yvonne (6/5): Ibrahim the host made us feel at home and very security conscious to ensure our safety. - The location and the amenities were reasonable.
More could be done in regards to a thorough cleaning ( cob webs and previous water bottles etc found in the wardrobe) As stated above
- Kofi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (9/5): Perfect clean family apartment with a lot of space - We liked the apartment very much, communication was easy and we were welcomed by Ibrahim and his wife. They were very helpful and provided us with a lot of information. Perfect apartment in Tamale. The location was hard to find, a sign or better map would have been helpful. The other thing was that the beds are too hard for us. We found them hard in most accommodations in Ghana, maybe we're not used to that.
- Ayumi (10/5): Very recommendable! - The contact with Ibrahim and his wife was perfect. Our flight was delayed but they waited for us and they sent us to the places we wanted to visit by car. Their warm welcome made our stay memorable! Thank you very much! Very clean and the accomodation is big with 3 rooms!
- Horesh (10/5): Exceptional - Ibrahim and his family were amazing and helped us in everything we needed- finding a place to do money transfer, finding the correct station for our next destination, helping us getting to the station with many bags, helped us with finding stores that open later at evening when we just arrived, and was very wellcoming and nice about everything we asked.
The apartment is big and spacious and with a nice yard to it (sharing the yard with Ibrahim brother's family (was also nice and interesting).
The place is not in the middle of the city and it give some peace and quiet time but there is a nice pub (king david) in a walking/yellow-yellow drive distance with live shows on friday and saturday nights.
Was sooo nice and didn't want to leave! No wifi (but we didnt mind), and we were told that we might need to pay some extra about electricity- but because we didnt use AC (wet season) it was just fine and we didnt need to pay anything else.
- Brady (10/5): My favorite place for a long-term stay in Tamale - The fully equipped kitchen was a major plus, as were the three bathrooms. The place felt safe and secure and was in a nice, quiet part of town. I wanted to stay in Tamale longer just to stay here! The cellular reception was really unpredictable and generally not good.
- Brady (10/5): A comfortable retreat for a group traveling together - Very comfortable and clean. Ibrahim let us do an early check-in in the morning when our bus arrived in Tamale, which was much appreciated. It was great for our group to have both a comfortable common area to hang out in and separate rooms to retreat to. One of the ceiling fans in the living room wasn't working. I think the screens on the windows on the back of the house needed to be replaced, because we had a fair number of mosquitoes.
- Brady (10/5): Perfect place for a group staying in Tamale - Ibrahim was an excellent host, very responsive and attentive. He was able to explain everything clearly up front. The house was beautiful, clean, and in a quiet spot. The air-conditioners all worked, although they worked best in the small rooms. The house was well-equipped with everything from kitchen utensils to an iron. This is an ideal place to stay if you have a group of people, and would be excellent for a long-term stay in Tamale! The first night, we didn't have any running water because someone had apparently turned it off by mistake after we arrived. You may want to ask Ibrahim to show you the valves in case that happens to you. There were quite a few mosquitoes in the house and the mosquito nets weren't mounted on the beds.
