• marc (8/5): Super - I have stayed here many times - it has been perfect for our needs since before COVID. I love the modesty of the place, the staff are great, the convenience to the kopje, shops, two universities etc fantastic. It's quiet, very comfy beds, and the common area out front is lovely (birds, company to chat with and such). I did notice a fairly strong mold smell in the secondary room. The chairs are not particularly comfortable.

On à pas compris, on à trouvé une bouilloire mais pas de café, juste du thé, crème et sucre, la dernière journée on nous à apporté le petit déjeuné, mais pas pour les 2 premières nuits, on à pas trouvé le grille pain et la plaque chauffante comme écrit dans le descriptif, mais ce ne sont que des détails nous somment globalement satisfaits de l'hébergement.

• THAPELO (9/5): - I didn't struggle with anything. I called 15 minutes before I arrived and was met at the gate. A smooth check and check out. Shout out to Pierre for having my breakfast on time. I was here for a graduation and I got to use their beautiful garden space to take pictures. I'm most definitely coming back here is I find must back in Joburg.

The breakfast is not the breakfast - the bed was comfortable and the location is next to more attractions The property have many cockroaches, we lost appetite. The property is not taking care of. TV was not working, gate access was manual and there are no on the street near property so it's dangerous to open the gate manually. Once you check in, the host and caretaker don't attend your queries. I will advise you don't book breakfast at all.

Oh and upon arrival they upgraded us. Definitely coming back very soon My only disappointment was the pool but the host recommended places to go swim which were nearby.

The freedom to move around the facility and how easy it was to get a hold of the staff. I also liked the hassle free check-in and checkout I did not like the restrictions placed on us to not use the garden area as it was reserved for the main house.

Would have been nice to have a TV. The absence of a shower was a bit surprising, especially when conserving water is the norm.

Perfect for what I was looking for. Electric plugs did not work all the time, needed to constantly check on them and push them into the socket. Some plugs in the kitchen area would work on kettle but not on laptop charger, weird.

I booked the three bedroom and the website said we booked the entire apartment, only to arrive and the hosts moved us, again with no warning, to a small studio because we were only two people.

• Melokuhle (7/5): The place was great but the water situation made it a difficult stay. - The property was clean and had all the items we needed. The kitchen had everything and more that we needed. The rooms were also comfortable and the house had a lot of sitting areas and the garden was lovely to be in. The area understandably so did not have water but on the second day we didn’t get as much water as we did on the first day.

Während unseres Aufenthalts waren wir ohne Wasser und wir konnten damit nicht duschen oder die Küche nutzen. Es wurden nur Eimer mit Wasser bereitgestellt... unterirdisch! Das Haus ist sehr schmutzig und die Bilder auf Booking.com sind total irreführend und möglicherweise digital überarbeitet. Der Garten ist nicht zu nutzen, da er voller Hundekot ist. Schreckliche Erfahrung! Der Gastgeber wurde angesprochen, aber es gab überhaupt kein Verständnis für die Umstände. Es ist unglaublich, dass Booking.com so etwas erlaubt.
• tsholofelo (4/5): No breakfast only a snack - It was close to our destination, the bed was very comfortable and the price is good. There's free WiFi and the accomodation was in a secure area. There was a water outage in the city and we were not informed beforehand, they provided us with 1 bucket to flush and we were 3 people. They advertised that breakfast is included but on arrival we got a small basket with 3 buns, 3 small yogurt, juice boxes and 3 bananas. I was expecting a full warm breakfast in the morning but the basket was the actual breakfast. There's only a sliding door separating the 2 rooms which was awkward in terms of privacy
