• Marco (9/5): Cozy and quiet accommodation - Cozy and quiet accommodation at a reasonable distance from Severn Valley Railway (20-30 minutes walk). The annexe has all the comforts, especially I found the bed very good. Neighborood is quiet. The owners have been kind and quick in solving a couple of little issues i've had. At the low price I paid I couldnt expect more. If I'll return to visit SVR in future I will keep this accommodation in mind.

• Diane (10/5): Spacious annex - Lovely spacious annex.Rob was really helpful when the tv remote was acting up. He also noticed the room felt cool and put the heating up for us. Would definitely stay again should we be in the area and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We were only there for a kickboxing tournament so arrived late and left early so didn't see the area or the accomodation in daylight, but what we did see was lovely. Perfect for what we needed. Comfy beds. Excellent bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Lights were quite dim. Had to do an emergency sewing repair and struggled with the lighting.

She even kindly allowed us to check out an hour later when we needed a bit more time in the morning, which was greatly appreciated. The whole experience was excellent everything was clean, tidy, and well-kept, and the bed was very comfortable. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to add a light near the property number, as it was a little hard to spot at night when we arrived. Apart from that, it was a great stay, and I’d definitely recommend it! All was good

• Digforwales (9/5): Good value stopover - We had a one night stopover on our way up through England from Plymouth. Not far from M5/M6 in a pleasant residential area on the outskirts of Kidderminster. It was a good stay and had all we needed. Off-road parking, wifi, enough space, privacy, clean and tidy, good shower, self check in. Very good value for money. Good communication with Andrea. The bed is a double bed and is quite soft and springy and dips in the middle. It's difficult to please everyone when it comes to beds, but we would have preferred a better quality and larger mattress.

• Peacesdad (9/5): Lovely overnight stopover - Ideal location for an overnight stop on a long journey. Everything was there and Andrea and Rob were on hand for any queries but in no way intrusive. The bed was a bit soft for our liking but we do use a hard bed at home.

Very clean and basically brand new, had everything we needed and more. The place is even nicer than the pictures, you will not be disappointed. The bathroom was spacious with all we needed, we could also use the garden and look at the rabbits Simba and Nala! Lovely hosts, our stay was very pleasant and we would definitely stay again! There was not a thing that we didn't like, in fact my wife wants an annexe now as well!

• Nicholas (9/5): Very pleasant stay in an exceptionally well-equipped guest annex. Very friendly and helpful host. - Location was fine for me but well away from the centre of Kidderminster. The only thing lacking, bearing in mind that I stayed on one of the warmest days of the year, was a portable ventilation fan.

The facilities were great, oven and hob were fantastic, milk left in the fridge for a morning cuppa and enough cutlery and utensils for anything you could need. Great TV with multiple features for catch up TV and Streaming Services.The shower and water pressure was incredible, wanted to move in due to the fact, was a very enjoyable stay. That we weren't staying longer 😁

• Guy (9/5): The Annexe is a well maintained, clean property that is very well equipped. Perfect! - The Annexe was spotless, very well equipped with everything you need for a stay - right down to tea bags! The free wi-fi and off-road parking are a bonus and it was great to be able to cook something rather than get a takeaway. The bed was comfortable and provided a much-needed lie in ! Only one thing to mention and that's after the warm day, it got quite chilly in the Annexe. (It does say this can happen in the guidance notes left in the room). It was late in the evening and I didn't want to disturb the hosts so used the portable heater provided and the room soon warmed up after about 30 minutes.

The only issue for a non-driver like myself is that it is a little way from the town centre.However it's only a 20 minute walk and a good bus service runs until the early evening.

• Janet (9/5): Great location and good value. - Great location, only 5 mins drive to the steam trains, lovely hosts and good value. It had safe parking on large driveway in a nice quiet area. It was nice to cook our breakfast and do a packed lunch in the well equipped kitchen. Toiletries in bathroom a nice touch. Bed bit low, bathroom was cold but warm elsewhere. Little things could make it perfect like cooking oil and hand towel in the kitchen, smoke alarm, hooks on door in bathroom to hang towels or clothes. Terrestrial TV channels, although there was Amazon Prime etc. but still lovely without these things.
