Jaime (10/5): Unos cuantos días en una de las playas y lugares mas bonitas del planeta. - Caminando se llega a la playa, y a la quinta avenida. Tiene parqueo, y la ubicación es excelente para llegar a cualquier lugar. Es fácil de ubicar, y de llegar a cualquier lado. Lo que más nos gustó, es que tiene cocina, lavadoras, y todas las comodidades, además las piscinas tienen una linda vista. Que nos quedamos en un cuarto piso, entonces era un poco cansado, sobretodo para la subida de maletas, y la bajada. Pero fuera de eso todo excelente.

Federica (9/5): Beautiful condo - Loved the apartment, it was aesthetically beautiful, super comfy bed, great shower, quiet, I slept really well. The pool was really nice and also enjoyed the terrace. Location was perfect, close to the nice part of Quinta, nice local restaurants nearby. I would stay there again. We arrived late at night and there was no water, all the shops were closed so we had to drink the tap water which isn’t the best. First time in my 3 years in Mexico where not even a bottle of water (or a tiny coffee) isn’t available. Also the balcony is not pet or child safe, it’s very dangerous.

The bed was to much to stiff and the pillows were unbearable. We woke up with back ache. The shower has moth from many uses. The sofa isnot comfy to sit or lie down. Both the sofa and the dining chairs have stains. There's no privacy as all the wall is glass and you need to close the curtains in order to have some privacy. So you kiss the daylight. The ceiling fan in the dining erea didn't work. We didn't encountered the swimmingpool.

Anonymous (10/5): Fantastiiic - Everything was really clean and the bed was comfy, there was also a nice pool on the rooftop to relax in. The TV with Netflix and the air conditioning in the apartment were great, we had a couple rainy days and we enjoyed spending time there.

We loved the self check in process, so we made everything in advance with the host by messages to get the instructions and we just went directly to our apartment once we got in the property, he was so attentive. The place was very cozy and clean; the apartment had a nice balcony too, we loved the view.
Anonymous (10/5): Modern and beautiful! - The apartment had a very nice and modern decoration and it was so spacious, it was a very beautiful place in general. They had low key lighting options which is a welcome luxury compared to glaring ceiling lights which is the norm in most affordable places. There was also a very short walk to all the sights and sounds of Playa del Carmen!

We made a last minute reservation and the apartment was available, it was easy to find once we got the address. We were close of many restaurants and the most important place, the beach. The staff was very friendly too, we hope to be back soon.

We were walking distance to the beach and we were close enough to everything. The apartment was nice and the furniture so styled, the plants were the perfect add on; the bed was super comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was perfect.
Jessie (10/5): - The host was very kind, he gave us many recommendations about what to do in Playa del Carmen and the information of what we had included on our stay was well explained. It wasn't our first time visiting Playa, but we will come back to this condo; all the facilities were awesome, including the laundry area, very essential if you spend few days on vacations, all perfect.

When we got to the property, fortunately, the apartment was ready and we were able to do early check in, it was awesome after a long flight. All the facilities were great and the apartment was very comfortable; we really loved the coffee machine in the kitchen, it is necessary for us to have a cup of coffee every morning.
Anna (10/5): Charming spot - Everything in the property was as described and very faithful to the pictures. I loved the mirror in the bathroom and that there was plenty space for my make up stuff. There was a store right in front of the building, which made it a lot easier to get some stuff, and we were also able to get to some restaurants and nice coffee shops very quickly.
Hannah (6/5): Modern - Ocean Boutique Condos is located in the Zahil Ha area of PCD, about a 15-minute walk from the beach. The units are well-designed and comfortable, though the kitchen could use a few additional essentials like paper towels and kitchen towels, especially since it's a studio setup. There's a small plunge pool on the rooftop, which is a nice touch. While there's no elevator, the stairs are manageable. At the time of my stay, there was quite a bit of construction in the area, and occasionally some unpleasant odors. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I did need to request an additional cleaning, so there's definitely room for improvement in that area. That said, it was a great value for the price!

The area was very quiet, I recommend it for digital nomads, the wifi was fantastic as well and the showers were great, there was hot water all the time; also, there was no restriction on using the air conditioner, which was perfect on a tropical place. I will say that it was a 5 stars experience, based on the price and the location.

The place have all the necessary, including internet on the roof pool area and a barbecue grill, it was so wonderful to spend time there; we completely recommend it!

Grace (10/5): Cozy and wonderful place. - My partner en I had a wonderful stay. It was very cozy, clean and with a well equipped kitchen and the dinning area was spacious. The location was perfect, close to restaurants and nightlife, but still quiet for a restful night sleep. Helene (8/5): We would come back! - Rooftop pool/facilities, maid service, water service, and owner/manager? was VERY responsive. Location near beaches and the quiet end of 5th ave. Thought we'd be unhappy being a 20 min walk from Centro, but not the case! Apartment size was great for a month. Lots of cabinet space for groceries. Shelves for clothes. Hanging space for clothes with a few hangers. Quite noisy with dogs barking and chickens cock a doodle dooing until late at night and early in the am. Nonstick pans were scratched, which is dangerous as their toxins flake off into food. There was a huge baking book in the kitchen to remind us every day that there was no oven of any kind.(So would have been nice to have had an air fryer at least).

me (4/5): - Well to start finding the property was very difficult. My taxi from the airport could not find it. Very frustrating I became concerned I would just be left there! I later discovered by talking to other customers, that they ALL had struggled to get in the building after they finally found it... And the dogs in the neighborhood barked all night long, every night!

Guylaine (6/5): - La terrasse sur le toit est désuète, les photos ont plus de 10 ans. La piscine est très petite 12 x 12 pieds. L’intérieur du condo est comme les photos donc très bien. Pas facile de se servir edge la plaque de cuisson car cela prend 10 minutes pour faire bouillir 2 pouces d’eau, parce que la plaque est branché sur le 110 voltes . Comme tous les condos l’insonorisation n’est pas très bonne. La climatisation fonctionne très bien .
Debbie (1/5): This vacation was a disappointment. I would NOT recommend this place . - No breakfast provided. The condo was in a very poor neighborhood, with lots of construction and barking dogs throughout the nights! It sounded like they were killing each other, and I did hear that one dog died! It was stressful to listen to! Only got our code, the day of our arrival after calling numerous times at the airport. They said 24 hours prior. I was told after 3 pm on the day of, they would send it. It was stressful,not having the code and being, onroute, unsure if I was going to get in! An elevator!!!!!!!! 48 steps up to our 1st room. (Another 12 up to the pool) Housekeeping was non existent!( even though, it said daily housekeeping) At the end of our stay, another couple complained, and were told, you have to ask for it??? Really? We had to move, due to the steps and were changed to a room with a solid wall outside our balcony! Could see absolutely nothing! Our fridge was broken for 2+ days, but finally got fixed Carrying water in was an inconvenience.

The stairs were quite a bit too if you are staying on the upper floors (no elevator). The plunge pool on the roof was fine but a little chilly and small. We had a fantastic stay but would definitely not be suitable for some.

Verified traveler (8/5): Good sunny spot - Enjoyed stay, studio was compact but contained everything needed; free, onsite, laundry was a bonus for the extended stay. Rooftop deck is small, but provides everything needed to enjoy the sun. Only con is noisy neighbourhood, excessive numbers of dogs that bark continually including all night long. Difficult to find, doesn’t seem to have a specific address, no exterior signage, airport transfer had trouble finding it.

Jennifer (7/5): Noisy, not so good part of town, would not stay here again - It was clean, kitchen was decent. There was free Netflix it was cheap. The location was not in a good neighborhood. The code to my room door was the same as the entry code to the building and it should not have been The upstairs pool area was very dirty and not inviting. There was constant construction with loud saws going all day starting at 8am through at least 5pm non stop and the walls are paper thin so you hear everything. Construction, cars, dogs barking. It’s not peaceful at all if you want to relax and get some rest.

Valerie (6/5): Comfortable unit and well situated - Neighbours dogs running and barking non stop at night thought the morning hours which much of a nuisance when one wishes to rest and sleep. The unit is well situated, close enough to the famous Quinta, restaurants, stores, beach, but far enough to not hear the noise of restaurants, bars or clubs. It is a small unit, perfect for two people for a short stay. The balcony offers a little privacy with the banana tree leaves but no view to enjoy as it is directly into the residents backyard (where the dogs are living!). Since it is situated in a residential area, neighbourhood dogs running and barking non stop at night thought the morning hours was much of a nuisance when one wishes to rest and sleep. It is a clean place in a residential area and the housekeepers were very nice and helpful. The pool area is small, actually a little smaller than the pictures show, but still cozy for an afternoon refresher after the beach! The host was reactive to our questions but unfortunately could not do much about our dissatisfaction with dogs barking I’m afraid. I would recommend this place if you are a night owl and sleep through anything as it is well located and convenient. But if you need peace and quiet and a good night sleep, unfortunately this will not be your spot unless you tolerate earplugs!

Dale (10/5): - The property was very clean and well kept. If I had a question I generally got a very quick response. We did not cook there at all, however was well equipped if we would have wanted to. The roof top pool was always kept clean. It was not huge but we pretty well used it every day. My only complaint was no elevator, we definitely got our exercise, and probably that was a good thing.

I loved the balcony for reading and drinking coffee in the morning. The beach is just a few blocks away. Everyone who works there is extremely nice and welcoming. Definitely a 10/10!!!!

The room was spacious and very comfortable. There is work being done on the property which is noisy and starts in the morning. The internet was a bit slow, but they sent out someone to check it and provided us with back up networks that we were able to use to get through our work day, but it was roughly around 25 mbps speed

Yit (7/5): Good - Lots of space for the one bedroom. Modern and many nice lights. Was good they offered late checkout. No elevator. Pool is on rooftop. First day pool was out of order. Rooftop loungers were messy and cushions were worn down. Bed sheet had a big mark on it, possibly smeared mascara. We only had two nights, had no cleaning. Washer problematic.
