• Hamza Sabri (10/5): Best Hostel I have stayed in Yogyakarta - I booked here for just one night and ended up extending my stay for many days ,because the place was honestly amazing. Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. The hostel is very clean, and you can really notice that they take hygiene seriously. The toilets and showers are cleaned many times during the day. Beds are super comfortable, the rooms are quiet, and the whole atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Safety was also very good, which made me feel comfortable during my stay. The owner is an amazing person, very friendly and welcoming. Reception staff are also extremely helpful and can help with almost everything, including booking bus or train tickets. They even lend you a train card for free so you don’t need to pay the 14k fee. Free coffee, tea, and drinking water are available all day. The kitchen is big, fully equipped, and one of the best hostel kitchens I’ve seen. Laundry service is available too. Tours here are cheaper than in many other places. The Lava Tour was honestly one of the best experiences I did in Yogyakarta. They also offer cheap tours to Prambanan Temple and Borobudur Temple. The hostel has many extra things that make the stay even better: Big TV and PlayStation ,Prayer room ,AC works perfectly ,Great for cat lovers. Beautiful garden with a calm sitting area Near markets and useful shops The hostel is very cheap for the amount of services and comfort you get. There are honestly many more good things that I probably forgot to mention. Highly recommended. If you come for one night, don’t be surprised if you end up staying much longer like I did 😄 100/10 Thank you so much ❤️

I booked the wrong location for my bus to Malang, and the owner called the bus company for me and arranged a closer pickup location! Just amazing.

The staff and cats were also very friendly and welcoming. Perhaps the toilets could’ve cleaned a little more often - one toilet did not have toilet paper replaced in the few nights I stayed there (but there are other toilets)

Location is not in a nosiy area and was not far from main attraction Malioboro . Service was very happy to help with maps, local reccomendations and anything else you wanted to know. Had a very peaceful and relaxing tropical vibe with very friendly people.

• Colin (10/5): One of the best hostels I have stayed at. - Awesome hostel and price, roomy bunks, good ac and shower facilities, nice common areas and kitchen as well as an unbeatable price. They also have adorable kittens / cats. It's maybe a bit far from the main part of the city but they offer scooter rentals which is extremely convenient.

It’s very very beautiful property in Jogja, nice garden, well seating arrangements in the garden and inside. Very spacious living room. From rentals to trips to cafe suggestions, anything and everything you need is just an ask away. Super helpful staff and very very generous Mot. He didn’t charge me anything though I checked out way late than the check out time
• JEAN-LUC (10/5): - The Sleepy Raccoon of the best hostels in Indonesia. Totally cleaned and aired on a daily basis. The kitchen is great. Beautiful garden and welcoming hosts. Dormitory beds have dark curtains, so privacy is no problem. Lockers . Charging points and lamps in bed all work. Lots of social space to hang out. It's on the out part of the city, so it's very quiet. Public bus and Grab is all there and moto to rent from hostel if u want. Muk is a caring and friendly host. I didn't like that all hostels are not as good as this one.

• Marion (10/5): - Everything ! The girls dorm had 6 beds only and it was really clean. Curtains are a big bonus, and the ac works really well. Bathroom was clean. The wifi worked really well. The property is big, and really quiet at night. The owner is lovely and always there to give you an hand with anything or any questions that you have. He helped me out and brought me to buy my bus ticket to my next destination. They also help me buy and setup my SIM card. I did my laundry with them. And they also work with an agency for the tours to do around Yogyakarta. So everything was easy and right at “the door”. Easy to meet people and chat with them too. I had a really lovely stay !
