The lady which hosted us was extremely friendly. - It is a good place to stay over when traveling with 4 people. its clean, has hot water has the essentials. We contacted the main host, who never called back. Mattrasses on single beds needs replacement. not in good condition. Gas heater did not work or gas was empty? Bed lamp in second bedroom flickering.

• Susanna (8/5): Perfect peaceful pitstop in a town with lots of heart. - Lovely little spot. Really made our first visit to Bethulie extra nice. Perfect pitstop during a long roadtrip. Once we reached the town, GPS took us on an almost non existent road to the property. I suggest that you provide directions to visitors, with specific road names, to help use the best roads in town to reach the accommodation.

Beautiful surroundings, comfortable country house. - We arrived very late due to car trouble on the road but the hostess kept in communication with us and was very warm and accommodating when we finally arrived. Lovely stay. Will be back for a longer stay! N/A

Only one suggestion for a person out of town it was a bit worrying that my vehicle was quite a distance from the house. Maybe if the parking could be closer to the house

The house was very cold. The double bed had a single bed electric blanket which wasn't very practical. The light at the braai didn't work.
