• Tim (9/5): - Comfortable and clean with good facilities. It was well located for the old town and cathedral and it was quiet, but it was a bit of a walk from the station and to the ferry port. Great bathroom and shower. The instructions for navigating all the doors to get in could be clearer and when we arrived, (at the correct time) the cleaners still hadn't been, but I'm sure they'll sort that out. The decor was a bit sparse.

• Ursula (10/5): Zentral und ruhig gelegene, geschmackvoll renovierte Altstadtwohnung - Die Lage war perfekt, zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Das Bad hat uns sehr gefallen, wie auch die sanft renovierten Räume mit der alten, ursprünglichen Holzdecke. Obwohl es kein Frühstück gab, konnte man sich jederzeit Tee oder Kaffee kochen und wir durften am Abreisetag unser Gepäck noch in der Eingangshalle lassen. Für uns war es etwas ungewohnt, keinen Kontakt zu den Vermietenden zu haben, niemanden vom Personal zu Gesicht zu bekommen und trotzdem mit anderen Gästen untergebracht zu sein.

• Raffaela (4/5): Posizione notevole, dietro il Duomo ma la camera Ravello è senza finestra. Assurdo - L'unico elemento a favore della struttura é la posizione La stanza Ravello è claustrofobica. La stanza e anche il bagno non hanno finestre. Bisogna stare con la luce sempre accesa. La stanza affaccia con un arco su un piccolo corridoio che ha una parete vetrata su una chiostrina interna piccola e buia. Non mi sembrava proprio di aver prenotato la stanza Ravello perché quella che mi veniva presentata nelle foto aveva una parete di fondo tinteggiata di rosso, colore che si trova anche nel bagno. Ho chiesto quale stanza avesse quelle caratteristiche che io ricordavo di aver valutato nella scelta e mi è stato risposto: la stanza Cetara. Quindi ho ricevuto un'altra stanza rispetto a quella che avevo scelto. Ho chiesto di cambiare stanza ma mi è stato detto che era impossibile.

• Sandra (10/5): Upptäck salernos charm! - Fantastisk boende med riktig city vibe!! Den stora dörren som leder in till fräscha rum med fin utsikt över Salernos gator med dom fina ritningarna. Vi fick super bra support av Michele före och under vår vistelse! Rummen är mycket finare än på bilderna! :)

• Wayne (9/5): Great location. - Perfect location. Clean. Great air conditioning. If you walk down the street there’s a tiny wine and cheese place that is easy to overlook but you must try it. Owner is incredibly sweet and interesting and the wine is spectacular. The charcuterie board was among the best I’ve had too. No toilet seat though. It’s an AirBNB so there’s nobody around to help you if you need it. The process worked well though. Would have like a fridge in the room as it’s so hot we went through a lot of water. There is a shared fridge but other guests fill it up themselves and in any case you have to trust other guests to not steal or interfere with your stuff.

• OQB.COM Oliver-All-Over (8/5): Good value, very central, clean and quiet - The room was excellent value for money at the time of booking, located within equal walking distance from the train station on one side and the city center on the other. All major sights and attractions were easily reachable on foot. I would consider returning. The room was quite unique, featuring a cantina-style ceiling—arched and made of exposed stone or brickwork, reminiscent of traditional wine cellars or historic underground rooms. I personally appreciated its character and the sense of place it added. However, the person I was traveling with found it slightly claustrophobic. The room was impeccably clean and well-maintained. We arrived early and were allowed to leave our bags in the room we would later stay in, even though it had not yet been cleaned from the previous guests. This small gesture offered a sense of comfort and welcome well before check-in time. We only had human contact to the cleaning lady. However, management responded immediately via WhatsApp The following is simply a list of observations and recommendations—not complaints. The room had an open antechamber separated by a curtain that could be drawn or left open. The antechamber featured a window facing a courtyard, which was visible from the main room when the curtain was open. However, the room itself did not have a direct window. For guests who prefer natural light or an exterior view, this room may not be ideal. Personally, I found it acceptable—borderline. The person I was traveling with did not like it at all. As previously mentioned, I appreciated the vaulted, exposed stone ceiling, which gave the room character and a sense of uniqueness. My travel companion found it somewhat claustrophobic. The room was very quiet overall. While the courtyard included a garage, which made a loud noise when opened, this was infrequent and never disturbed our sleep. I mention it only as a point of observation. There was a Nespresso-style coffee machine available, which was a nice touch. However, it was placed on a low stool-style table, making it awkward to use. The room was immaculately clean, with no signs of anything unpleasant. It was slightly humid but otherwise well-maintained. Despite some of the points mentioned above, I would consider staying here again if returning to Salerno, particularly from a value-for-money perspective. The absence of a proper window was borderline acceptable, but the cleanliness, friendliness, and discreet sense of style made a strong impression.

De bedden waren erg klein en niet van hotel kwaliteit. Verder gehorige kamer (bijvoorbeeld in badkamer waren buren duidelijk te horen en ook gasten die op de gang wat gingen drinken voor het naar bed gaan)

• Kerri (9/5): Great property. Quiet but central location. Great place to spend some time. - Location was excellent, host was responsive and we would stay here again. We extended our stay in this property and had a terrific time in Salerno. Only criticism was there was no safe provided at the time we stayed and personally it would have been great to have our own mini fridge in the room. These things would not be a deterrant to us staying again however more just ideas that would make it even better.

Men det var et greit, lite kjøkken der vi lagde vår egen. Beliggenheten er god, i en trang tverrgate til enden av den lange, gamle gågaten gjennom Salerno. Innsjekkingen var tungvint. Noe var nok min egen feil, ved ikke å gå gjennom prosedyren med å få koder etc. før ankomst. Men likevel - det tok tid.
• Nathan (8/5): Perfect location, clean and comfortable. - The ease of access and DIY check in made it easy for us when we arrived in the middle of the night - the property was very clean. It was hard to get complete darkness in the room and noises travel throughout the accomodation especially when the locals decided to have a gathering in the common area until the earlier hours of the morning… on a weeknight!

Lovely bathroom. We loved the apartment. Better equipped kitchen with proper plates, only some pans that worked on induction hob, chopping board. We used same sheets and towels all week - didn’t know how to request clean ones.

I wish this was disclosed when we made the reservation, or at least made us aware of it before the free cancellation period ended. Passport information had to be provided electronically before check-in.
• Cecile (7/5): A good stay for one night - Clean and easy to find with great instructions for self check-in The room we slept in had a curtain that helps to block out the light from the hallway but every time someone came in the hallway the automatic light would switch on and shine through into the room. A heavier curtain may work better.

Faltan muebles en la habitación, como sillas donde sentarse, no hay ninguna, una mesa para colocar un computador o hacer un escrito y una cesta adicional de papeles.

The property had everything we needed and Michele was very good with his communication throughout our stay. Comfortable in the room with plenty of space. Accessing the main door from the street but this was easy to get in once we worked it out.

The host, Michel, is a really cool guy and he is very helpful. Highly recommend this place - just a suggestion, a wifi extender would be appreciated by the guests in the last room as the signal is quite weak there
