- Marina (10/5): Amazing stay - We had an amazing stay at the Shepherd’s hut. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hut itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly cosy — you can really tell how much care has gone into creating such a lovely space. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and the peaceful surroundings made it even better.
We genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay and would absolutely come again. Highly recommended! There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect.

- Nicola (9/5): - Cutest little sheppard’s hut. Lovely log fire.
- Leah (10/5): A lovely stay - really comfortable and great location. - Lovely stay!! Such a cute shepherds hut and had everything we needed! A lovely stay and enjoyed watching the planes and hearing the sheep. Nice hot water and a lovely bed with thick duvet! Could have done with a tiny bit more kitchen ware than was available - perhaps a mirror on the wall and the fairy lights working outside would have been lovely if they came on. These are all just tiny things. The road to the shepherds hut itself can be a bit tough on the car.

- Jennie (10/5): A perfect get away, one of the best places we’ve stayed in! - Set in a beautiful location with great views of the white chalk horse. The hut was very comfortable and clean! It was perfect I would stay there again!
- Hemmings (9/5): - Super location with a friendly host! Enjoyed the firepit on the deck with a glass of wine looking over the little airfield at the super view. Everything we needed and the dogs loved it!

- Lorraine (8/5): Very good - The hut is lovely and cosy inside and was very clean. It's very quiet and peaceful and there's a lovely farm shop nearby. Its quite secluded so would advise driving and taking a torch as the electricity went off a couple of times and it's very dark. However Andy the airfield manager was at the end of the phone and got it back up and running very quickly.
- Sergiy (10/5): Exceptional - It was very clean, the location is amazing, and the price/value is superb. The mattress is far from the best
- Miles (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet clean and charming Bed was a little awkward to negotiate
- Joanne (10/5): Lovely! - Location was great, not in the hustle and bustle of the city but a close enough drive. Local villages and pub nearby, along with a lovely farm shop. Host was great, very responsive. Met the owner of the airfield who even gave us some quail eggs. The host expressed that the stay is not a private stay, due to it being on an airfield. I am unsure whether it was due to the time of year, however, to us it felt private. It was the only shepherds hut there, we have stayed at similar places that have various units on one site, which definitely makes it feel less private than this stay. Extra bonus we got to see a plane take off.
- Natalie (7/5): Good - The cabin itself was really cosy, Andy was really lovely and really helpful once we got hold of him when we needed help with the electric. It was quite fascinating to see the planes and there is a nice footpath just a couple of minutes up the road, however you do need to go onto the main road to reach it which can be quite busy at times. There is a lovely farm shop and cafe across the road. It was a great base for exploring. We had issues with the electricity on the first night of our stay and even though in our welcome message it said to ring Fiona if any problems occurred, we were unable to get hold of her, luckily someone came onto site later on in the evening and was able to get hold of Andy, whose number was not made available initially. It wasnt a big problem initially but as we needed to ring a number to get out of the main gate, the lack of phone battery in the morning would not have been ideal. Luckily I had taken ice packs with me so our refrigerated items were okay but others may not have been so fortunate. The bed is also quite high and the bar quite uncomfortable when getting on and off, a small stool might be beneficial for future guests.

- Jessie (10/5): The perfect place for a cosy weekend ! - The Hut was fantastic. It was beautiful and beyond cosy. My boyfriend and I went for our four year anniversary. When we arrived we was greeted with the red weather warning for the recent storm ! At first I was scared to be in a hut around open land. However we stuck the fire on and got all snuggled up. It was lovely and excactly what we needed. Not to mention all the help from Fiona !! Always on hand to help and was never bothered by my constant texting 🤣(I’m a bit of a worrier). Needless to say it exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be returning !
- Rhiannon (9/5): Perfect hut and location for a few days off grid. - Cosy, clean and well furnished. The host has thought of every detail. Great location surrounded by nature. Nothing at all.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - Great little hut! Perfect for our quiet weekend away. Enjoyed a cosy fire during the chilly evenings, quiet location and private despite it being on an active airfield. Great communication and clear directions getting to the hut.
- Alison (9/5): Idyllic - Beautiful location
Very comfortable
Facilities very good Dirty windows
- Zoe (10/5): Exceptional - The hut was amazing! Beautiful location and super cozy. Perfect for a few nights getaway. Owner was super helpful when we couldn’t understand the gate! Would stay at the hut plenty more time
- Vicky (10/5): Lovely cabin, really cosy and everything you could want from an off grid adventure. - Lovely stay here, very cosy and exactly as advertised - we had a lovely stay! We loved our port grid adventure. The host was very informative, we did have an issue with the generator but we were able to get hold of the host who fixed it really quickly.
- Becky (10/5): Weekend break away - Absolutely stunning views, lovely quirky romantic location & hut.
- Butcher (9/5): Lovely hideaway getaway - Cosy feels and decoration. Comfy bed, good shower If we were to be fussy there was No toaster or a small side light for nightime
- Fiona (9/5): Such a lovely hut - Such a pretty Shepherds Hut. Was really cosy and the owner had amazing communication throughout and was so helpful and friendly. Dogs were really welcome and it was so nice to get off of the grid for a bit and have a nice weekend away. Definitely recommend and would book again. 😀
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - The attention to detail with the shepherds hut being able to sit out with a fire pit in the evening the area so close to bath and surrounding areas
- Alexandra (9/5): Superb - The hut was lovely, clean and very comfortable. I loved the wood burner, great feature, specially because we went there in march and the weather was still cold. The hut is compact but very comfortable, perfect for a little quiet getaway in the country side for 2 people. The hut also has a nice patio and a BBQ which I imagine is a nice feature in the summer. When we went there it had been raining a lot so we could not use the terrace. The location is good, about 15-20 minutes drive to Bath city center. There is also a farm shop across the road which is very well stocked, has a kitchen also. Fiona, the host was great, very friendly and amazingly helpful. We have arrived at 10 in the evening and she has waited to meet us there and show us around which made a huge difference. I have been looking for this kind of place to stay for a long time and it was definitely worth it. It's a beautiful spot for star gazing as it's pitch black and you can see the sky beautifully. Also the communication with the host was great, she has warned us about the muddy walk, the puddles, which put me off slightly prior to arriving only because the weather was quite bad, windy and rainy but it was actually not as bad as I thought, and it was all worth it in the end as we had a great stay ☺️ The downside is that it is located in an airfield, however if you're looking for an isolated getaway it's not even a downside, it didn't bother us.
Also, there is no mains power on the premises, which we knew about. The hut functions on a generator and the down side is that you have to switch it on and off before you go to bed so you fisically have to come out the hut in the middle of the night and walk about 35 meters to switch it off before you go to sleep. Again, for a couple of nights it didn't bother us.

- Andrew (8/5): If you’re looking for a weekend getaway in the countryside away from the hustle of everyday life a visit to the hut is f - Very cosy and secluded, ideal for a weekend getaway in the countryside.
The set up was basic but had everything required for a comfortable stay including a nice bed, blankets and an easy to use log burner.
Ideally located for travelling into Bath. The farm shop is amazing really recommend the shop and the restaurant.
Some lovely pubs 10 min drive away in Norton St Phillip, we also travelled to Cheddar Gorge which took around 45 mins. A small makeup mirror was provided but we feel there was enough room in the bathroom for a wall mounted small mirror.
A protective glove or pair of tongs provided to use for the stove would have been useful.
The fridge was a little dirty and gave off a smell.
- Charlotte (10/5): A home away from home - The property is situated just a short drive away from Bath, in a beautiful and picturesque airfield. The property was tastefully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. We loved the cozy and homely atmosphere of the property. Fiona, the host, was extremely kind and considerate, and we really enjoyed interacting with her. She is highly approachable and very accommodating. Nothing was ever too much to ask. She went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Our highlight: we even had the privilege of witnessing the takeoff and landing of some planes and met some of the pilots. Having to come home!!! 😆
- Taneisha (8/5): Beautiful place to unwind for a few days, just wasn’t for us! - It was super cosy. We enjoyed to log fire and how homely it felt. It was clean and tidy. Fiona was brilliant, super clear with instructions. Was a lovely little place and in close proximity of bath city centre. There was lots of cobwebs and a few spiders which I am absolutely terrified of so for my piece of mind it could have been dusted around the lights & corners as what I can’t see won’t hurt me! It was very hard to find the hut, maybe some signage when you get to the carpark & is really hard to locate in the dark winter mornings and night. Very very wet and muddy, we slipped and slides everywhere but for us, that was just part of the experience. But for others, maybe not as fun.
- Abbie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elle (9/5): so lovely - we loved the fire, the host was extremely pleasant and helpful. we had a problem with the gas but the host was so helpful, apart from that we loved this stay! we would recommend it to anyone!

- Birks (9/5): Superb -
- Leonie (8/5): Really enjoyed this stay!! - I loved the Skylar Shepherds hut!! Cozy, nice decorated, good view, a little fireplace and attention for detail. It was a small hut, but it felt really bright and open. I had a nice welcome and the owner was very helpful. Recommend! I missed the WIFI, to be honest, haha =) It would have been nice to be able to watch a movie, without having to worry about my data. And it would have been nice to know beforehand that the hut is in front of a little airplane field. But I did enjoy a flight in one of the airplanes, so I shouldn't 'complain' about that, haha! =)

Andy was super friendly and helpful. Loved the wild rabbits running around Nothing
