• Federico (8/5): - Location is amazing, directly on the beach and super close to restaurants and bars There are a couple of roosters in the property that make noise every night and very early morning. They woke me up multiple times
• Trevor (4/5): Unhappy Australian. - Close to beach. The foam as a mattress was terrible. No cleaning in 3 days. The property also contains many 3rd world buildings for the unfriendly extended family and noisy fighting roosters. Not even a television. Another instance of nice photo, thanks for paying in advance.

• Luigi (8/5): Great stay thanks to the perfect beachfront location and responsive host, despite a couple of small maintenance issues. - Amazing beachfront location (literally right in front of the beach) and within walking distance of many restaurants; the room was clean and modern, and the host was very responsive. A broken chair and a leaking bidet.
• Allen (9/5): Christela is unique - modern comfort + Filipino hospitality (and interaction, if you want) - Staying at Christela Beach House is an incomparable experience. On the beach, with all the modern comforts, on a family owned compound that still houses local Filipinos. We cherished every minute of our stay and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Beds are comfy, shower works and drains well, air conditioner is powerful and silent, spacious, outdoor table and chairs. Loungers and umbrellas plus a large covered structure constructed from bamboo make spending a day on the beach a great idea. Security is great and Stela and her family will help you organise excursions, add-ons. The stand out feature has to remain the people you are sharing this property with. These are memories that will live with us forever; and Arwen is the best tuna fish griller. Perfection.

• Lars (3/5): Otillfredsställande. - Bilderna på bokningssajten överensstämmer med verkligheten. Sålunda relativt nytt mindre boende. Rum och säng helt ok, fungerande aircon. Kokmöjlighet. Beläget på strand, utsikten mot havet begränsas av hyddor runt omkring. Flera vackra, avskilda stränder på promenadavstånd. Restauranger i närheten. - Mycket störande omgivning. Musik på högsta volym, skränande etc av andra än boende på Christela Beach House. Ibland av större grupper. - Ingen städning mm. Tillgång till sopkvast med skyffel. Svårt hålla rent från all sand. Lakan/handdukar överlämnades för byte vid ett (1) tillfälle under de 16 dagar vi bokat. - Brist på information/kommunikation från värd, hade varit bra åtminstone vid ankomst. Fanns förhållningsregler för gäst uppsatta på vägg, dock inte hur värden kunde nås. Vi valde att lämna boendet ett par dagar före utcheckning.
• Sven (4/5): - Das Gute war, dass es direkt am Strand ist und man quasi direkt vom Haus ins Meer kommt. Auch der Strand war sehr schön, jedoch an manchen Stellen etwas algig. Auch von außen sieht das Haus sehr gut aus und von innen wurde es modernisiert. Leider hatten wir während unserem Aufenthalt eine Kakerlake im Küchenschrank wo der Müll gelagert wird. Nachdem wir diese gefangen und in einem Glas nach draußen gestellt haben, wurde diese am nächsten Tag befreit. Und in der vorletzten Nacht gab es auch eine Kakerlake im Badezimmer. Außerdem waren viele Ameisen im Bad, aber das ist wohl normal. Insgesamt könnte die Sauberkeit verbessert werden. Oben an der Decke gab es Spinnenweben und auf dem Nachttisch tote Insekten. Und aus dem Badezimmer kam immer ein Gestank. Das ist sehr schade, da das Haus so viel Potential hat.
• Sven (6/5): - Die Unterkunft ist einen Schritt von einem sehr ruhigen Strand entfernt. Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Es gab einige unschöne insekten im Zimmer, die wir erstmal hinausbegleiten mussten. Das Bad sondert einen unschönen Geruch aus. Ein Besen im Zimmer wäre gut, um den Sand vom Strand wegfegen zu können.
• Les (3/5): Would not recommend to anyone. - The location was good but they didn’t tell us that it was built amongst squatters. Many sandflies and mosquitoes. Many sandflies and mosquitoes. No wi fi. No television. The place wasn’t cleaned properly. Built amongst squatters buildings. Very loud music and noise from the day huts that they hire out. They need to be honest on the booking.com website showing the squatter buildings in there photos.

• Craig (10/5): - I had an amazing stay at Christela Beach House in Santa Fe. The location is unbeatable — it’s absolutely on the beach, with soft white sand and clear water that’s perfect for swimming at both high and low tide. It’s not a sterile resort experience; you’re living amongst the locals in a very relaxing, calming environment that feels authentic and welcoming. The accommodation is well maintained and set in a quiet spot, yet still close to everything. It’s only about 150 meters to Sand Bar for cheap eats and drinks, and just a 2-minute scooter ride or a short 5-minute walk to great restaurants, cafés and bars in town. There’s also an outdoor kitchen and a large cabana area which is perfect for relaxing or entertaining. The room itself was very comfortable — especially the bed — and everything was clean and well looked after. A special mention must go to Stela, who really made the stay exceptional. She organizes tours, transport to and from the island, and even takes guests on tours herself. She always made time to show me around, introduce me to locals and expats, and help with anything I needed. Her hospitality and warmth truly made the experience memorable. If you want a peaceful beachfront stay with a personal touch and a real feel for island life, Christela Beach House is the perfect choice.

• Christoph (10/5): komme gerne wieder - Super neue Unterkunft mit nur 4 Zimmern ,direkt am Strand und 5 min zu Fuß zu vielen Restaurants. Saubere und moderne Zimmer nach westlichen Standard . Preisleistung top. Kostenlose Strand Liegen werden vom Host zur Verfügung gestellt . Jeder Wunsch wurde vom Host erfüllt, sogar konnte ich Frühstück auf Zimmer bestellen. Tolle ruhige Insel . Ich habe mich immer absolut sicher gefühlt. alles Top
• Richard (10/5): Again its all about the location, and the place is perfect. - The location is perfect, it is close to nearby resto's and bar, the neighborhood is very friendly and quiet. The people who live around the homestay is very friendly too. It is literally 2 seconds from the shore, so u dont have to go thru the crowds in kota and sugar beach. It is really amazing, They even offered us to use the kitchen equiped with a stove, cutlery and pots. The property is really good, i cant really see any fault in them, the room is equipped with kettle and fridge, Extra towels and thicker blanket would have been nice though.
• Sebastian (2/5): Sehr laut. - Die Lage war sehr nahe am Strand. Leider liegt die Unterkunft in einem Strandabschnitt in dem Abends viel Musik gespielt wird und getrunken wird. Deshalb gelang es uns kaum Ruhe und Erholung zu bekommen. Direkt nebenan wurde zudem ein Barbecue mit lauter Musikbeschallung gefeiert. Es sollte um 16.00 Uhr beendet sein, ging aber bis 22.00 Uhr. Wir haben eine Mail an die Besitzer geschrieben, dass wir gerne wieder ausschenken möchten. Sie blieb unbeantwortet. Schwierig ist auch, dass es gar keinen Empfangsbereich gibt, wo man seinen Schlüssel abholen kann bzw. wo man Fragen stellen kann.

• John (8/5): We enjoyed our stay and would do it again. - Close to beach. Relatively quiet. Comfortable bed clean bathroom air conditioner. Wifi a little hit and miss. No tv (but who is there to watch tv 😌) A bit lacking in some areas like only had kettle and rice cooker. (But plenty of cheap eateries nearby).
• Vincent (7/5): The stay is still considered to be Very good. If there's something that I don't like is the aircon. - My wife and I love the location. It's not too near to the very crowded places, yet it is near the beach and is a walking distance to main town. The aircon was not good. I think it lacks maintenance. It's not cold especially during day time.
• Anita (10/5): True paradise accomodation - If I could give 20 stars I would. Came for a few days and stayed for many. New style accommodations in the rustic surroundings of the beach. Soft bed, new air con, wifi, spacious room with a view, best shower I’ve had in Philippines. Location unbeatable. On the beach and close to all the restaurants, beach sports and local night life. Picture perfect. Beautiful for family and solo travellers.

Perfect stay!!! - - perfect beach and new infrastructure (max. 2 years old in 2025) - friendly personnel - flexible checkin/out - easy to contact owner - fridge, water kettle, coffee, rice cooker in the room - easy to use air conditioning - separate sink at kitchen area minor improvements to perfection, which were openly received by owner in private feedback.
