- Karthikeyan (10/5): My new go to place in HSR Bangalore! Feels Home - The location is too good. You have nice tree shades on the road, so to good to take a walk in the evening or night. Rooms feel so so home. Not the typical hotel rooms template, but feels like home the bedspreads and curtains all feels like staying in your home. Owner is extremely friendly. You would want to visit again if u check in here.

I got a very homely feeling staying at this place with home-cooked breakfast that was absolutely delicious. The room was comfortable and spacious and a good pressure shower with hot water. The staff were also friendly and helpful. No food whilst we were staying

As a student from Manipal visiting Bangalore with a group of friends, we were looking for a place that was clean, budget-friendly, and comfortable - and this homestay exceeded all our expectations! Stay & Comfort: The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and had a cozy vibe. Each of us had enough space to relax after a long day of exploring the city. The beds were super comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless. The place felt safe, which was a big plus for us as students. Food: The food deserves a special mention - it was honestly one of the best parts of our stay! We enjoyed tasty, home-cooked meals every day. The South Indian breakfast (especially the dosas)was our favorite, It felt just like home. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. They treated us like family, gave us great tips on local spots. They were always around if we needed anything but gave us enough privacy to hang out and chill.

- Prasanna (1/5): Absolutely Horrible Experience – Stay Away at All Costs! - This is by far the WORST experience I’ve ever had with a hotel. I booked this place for a family trip, hoping for a relaxing vacation, but the entire vibe was ruined by the rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff. They were extremely polite and responsive only until the booking was confirmed. After that, they completely changed – unresponsive, harsh, and downright abusive. They even started yelling and abusing us in the local language, making my family feel unsafe and disrespected. We didn’t even get the stay we paid for, and I ended up losing a significant amount of money. We were left stranded and helpless, and yes, we’ve filed a formal complaint against them. I strongly urge everyone to stay away from this place. Don’t be fooled by their fake hospitality before booking – their true colors show once they have your money. Not at all recommended. If you value your peace of mind, time, and money – AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS.

If you’re looking for a cozy, peaceful, and homely place in HSR Layout/Bangalore, this is it! Nestled in a quiet location in Sector 5, away from the city’s hustle and bustle, yet within walking distance of popular cafes, food joints, and office spaces, this homestay offers the best of both worlds. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious home-cooked meals. Unlike restaurant food, the meals here are freshly prepared on order, and the cook is more than happy to cater to your preferences, ensuring a healthy and stomach-friendly experience. We stayed as a family of three and were given a decent size room with a twin bed and a single cot—perfect for a comfortable stay. The caretakers were warm and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Though the owner, Bhagyasree ma’am, was not physically present, she ensured a seamless experience by coordinating everything remotely. Her hospitality and attention to detail truly made us feel at home. Overall, Chetana is the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and homely warmth. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a peaceful and well-cared-for stay in Bangalore!

Mrs Bhagya runs this as if it's home, and provides delicious home food too for a little extra cost. Nothing specifically. Even hot/warm water for drinking is available for you if you provide them your thermos or they can provide thermos for the stay with hot water anytime. I requested to keep a kettle in the room so people can use it to make hot water anytime on their own, but learned that some guests misused it to the level that management will now provide it only based on personal request during your stay. Geethamma who is a chef there is very kind, and Sunil Yadav is the house keeper who makes awesome ginger tea too ! 😄
