Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber, stylisch eingerichtet und von dem Ausblick brauche ich erst gar nicht anfangen. Tolles Bett inkl. eigenes Bad und Kühlschrank. Hatte das Glück in der oberen Etage schlafen zu können. Die anderen Zimmer sind bestimmt genauso schön.

A beautiful room, a comfortable bed and lots of little details that show how much the hostess cares about her guests' well-being. Thank you!

The room has a wonderful view over the lake, and it’s lovely to wake up in the morning with the sun shining in. We especially liked the Audrey Hepburn–style decoration of the room. Peggy welcomed us personally and gave us many great tips on things to do in Queenstown and across the South Island. She is a wonderful host and a fascinating person with many interesting stories from her life, which she shared with us even on the last day well past checkout time. :-) The homemade breakfast in the morning was excellent. We shared the table with the other guests and enjoyed exchanging experiences about New Zealand as well as stories from our home countries.

You can tell right away that she genuinely loves what she does, and that energy made us feel instantly at home. She's warm, welcoming, and just has that magic touch. • Yan (5/5): The hostes was incredibly kind and welcoming - It was my last day in New Zealand, and since I had an early flight the next day, I had to book this hotel during a busy period. Initially, I was a bit worried about the accommodation, but the hotel staff really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We were traveling with a child, and the original room wasn’t quite suitable. Thankfully, the staff kindly arranged for us to move to a larger room next door, which was very thoughtful and appreciated. That said, the room, while more spacious, had somewhat outdated facilities, and the bedding was quite average in terms of comfort. Additionally, the stairs were a bit inconvenient for carrying large luggage, making it a bit of a hassle to move around. However, I must highlight how wonderful the hostess was. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived until we left. Her warmth and attentiveness truly added a positive touch to our stay. If you’re looking for a place to stay briefly, especially when catching a flight, this hotel is a decent option. The room and the facilities

• Stasha (10/5): charming, cozy, fluffy and comfortable :) - I chose this BnB for it's charming, original, cozy rooms with fluffy blankets and pillows and a swing chair! I was traveling with a 9 year old girl who loves all things fluffy ;-) Peggy amazingly upgraded us to the lake view room so that we had our own private bathroom, a superb view, and she moved the swing chair in from another room just so I could surprise my daughter with it :) Awesome, thanks Peggy :) The bed was soft and super comfy, felt really blissful in there :) Very quiet as well, even though there's a road running along the edge of the lake close by. Unfortunately we didn't meet Peggy, who was unexpectedly away for a family emergency. We weren't sure where the kitchen/common area was and if we were allowed to freely use it. But we called Peggy and found it just a few steps down from our room, through a door we thought was somebody's bedroom ;) Lovely large space to hang out and full kitchen available for guests, with a great lake view. Great little WE getaway for 2 :)

The room and ensuite are spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our flight was cancelled at short notice and we were lucky to find this gem for a one night stay. Host Peggy was very welcoming on our arrival despite the late notice check-in and made us feel right at home. Close to Queenstown Airport (7k) with magnificent views over Lake Wakatipu, the location is excellent and we would love to have been be able to stay longer. Highly recommend this accommodation Thanks Peggy! Really could not find anything not to like about this comfortable accomodation.

I ignored there is no individual bathroom. We used one shared toilet and one bathroom. My friend said she felt cold in the room, but I used to live in a cold weather and I feel warm enough.
• S.t. (4/5): I had a nigh with shampoo on cuz hot water ran out. - - Breakfast prepared by Peggy was nice, with the lake view, it was a good option. If you are tired of making breakfast for your own and not wanting to go to the town for pricy breakfast, breakfast was a considerable option. - You can park free on the street. - The neighbourhood is cool - Peggy is welcoming and very sweet, she allowed us to use her kitchen to boil our vege. I happened to to have the most unpleasant experience in New Zealand stay: during the showering, the hot water ran out and the water turned super chilling when the temperate was 4'C in the winter time. I waited for 10 mins and nothing changed... I was having shampoo all over my hair, I had no choice but wrap my head up with an towel. because it was a shared washroom, not a private one and it was still cold even the heater was on. My husband helped me to ask Peggy, she said she cannot do anything, the hot water ran out. She asked us to wait 30 more minutes, and I waited for more than 1 hour, still NO HOT WATER. so I SLEPT over the night with my hair unwashed properly with the shampoo on. The next day, Peggy explained that because we used the kitchen so she turned the dish washer late, and dish washer consumed the hot water. I am not sure if she was telling the fact or kind of accusing us for the kitchen usage. Honestly, it was properly the most unforgettable experience, though I think the rest of the thing about this place was okay, but the hot water thing, I cannot get over it. I chose it for the high review, but I would consider some other options.

• Voon (10/5): Definitely recommend for a short stay here at Queenstown, you will feel like home. - You can tell the owner has put in lots of effort and creativity to make the house look nice and comfortable! The bathroom smells like five star hotel with everything prepared for us. Bedroom is super comfy, the best thing is the view looking out to the lake! Breakfast was awesome as Peggy pampered us with food and drinks all prepared by herself.
