• Karla (9/5): Met our needs simply. - Friendly communication and in person greeting. Location is excellent- few minutes walk from the station and to the majority of places you'd likely visit. Plenty of space. Good selection of equipment and toiletries provided. Lift to get to the floor, great when you have children and luggage. The windows were quite thin, so a little noisy at times. Noise is to be expected, given the location, but wonder if there is a way to reduce it. Decor needs refreshing in some areas and there were a few lights not working. But overall modern and tidy. The peephole in the front door was invasive (personal preference) and lack of secondary security method on the door (a chain or similar) would have been appreciated. Especially as a single female with a child.

• Julian (7/5): Good - Location is great, we were working at the theatre all week so was super easy. The main bedroom was comfortable and I slept well. Host was responsive and it was easy to get keys. The shower didn't work very well, in fairness the host did send out a plumber but he was unable to fix the issue due to it requiring a new part. The flat needs a bit of TLC - it served its purpose but it could be nicer.

• Bonj (7/5): Small hitches soon rectified. Would stay again as the niggles were dealt with promptly. - The location of property was brilliant for what we wanted, a gig at the O2 Academy. The cleanliness was good. Well equipped. The apartment was quiet regarding other residents in the block, although there was a little traffic and passer by noise, but being in the city centre you expect that. Tv functions not easy to work out. Threadbare towel but owner was apologetic . No milk or bread or butter left where most do leave you the minimum basic essentials. The property hadn't been cleaned on our arrival at 3.15 pm, and they needed an extra hr to do so, so we went out locally to eat whilst it was done. The owner did extend our stay from 10am to midday for no extra charge, which we were grateful for.

• Sarah (3/5): Disappointing - one of the worst night's sleeps we've had in years. Outrageous £200 damages deposit - Good location. Spacious Beds were totally unacceptable. Both mattresses were terrible and clearly old - springs into your back. I got 2 hours sleep and it ruined my stay. You should know that the most important element of any stay is how comfortable beds are and should spend the money on replacing these sub-standard and no doubt ancient mattresses. Also, we should have been given two keys - one each. Also, when I returned from dinner, it was very confusing to find the entrance as we arrive by car and the building is named Southside Apartments and not Inners City apartments which is what we booked under. Finally, I have never had to pay a "damages deposit" of £200 - ridiculous for 2 middle aged parents visiting their children in Birmingham

• Edward (9/5): Lovely apartment with good proximity to train station and shops. - The property was very well located near the train station and perfect for us as a group of young professionals to stay in while at a conference, staying in an apartment rather than a hotel meant we could make the most of the down time we had together. I think that the host needs to be a bit more upfront about the deposit as this wasn’t mentioned in the description but was £200, however this was refunded promptly
• Gavin (9/5): Great apartment for Birmingham nights out - The apartment was spacious and was well supplied with everything we needed for our stay. It was super close to Birmingham's night life. The person who met us was really friendly and explained how to enter/exit the building using the fob system, as well as how to use the oven. There wasn't really anything.

• Ramona (9/5): was nice and comfortable flat - nice apartment modern equipped with everything you need heating in living room was working sometimes but sometimes doesn’t work and was to cold there…and some problems with shower….the host telling us to get brake of 30 min between showers because of the boiler…but last 2 days hot water didn’t work almost all day….I manage to take a shower hot in the morning and my friend was want to shower around 6-7pm no hot water…try again around 11-12and no hot water….

• Nataliya (8/5): generally ok, but the owner need to work under some moments in a flat to make it better - location was very nice and close to train station, the heating worked fine. there were coffee and tea, sugar. would be nice to add salt)) the window we had only in 2 rooms, but in one room the window was blocked and the 3rd room was without window and air conditioning system. so hard to breath while sleeping. the shower staff should be fixed as impossible to take shower not holding it.

• Helen (8/5): Great value apartment in interesting part of the city. - Quiet location tucked away in bustling part of the city, in china town, just a few minutes walk from the O2. Super friendly host met us on time and showed how to access the secure parking. The apartment was spotless and well equipped with all the essentials. The bed was a bit soft for my liking, but I do prefer a very firm mattress, so I’m sure plenty of people would have liked it.
• Hashim (8/5): Good Price, Great Location, Perfect for a catch-up with friends - Absolutely brilliant location - close to China Town, the Bullring and Birmingham Newstreet Station. Really handy to have a local supermarket on the same block, as well as easy access to other amenities. Host provided good quality towels - enough for each guest, as well as hotel-chain quality shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The apartment also came with tea and coffee, a microwave, kettle and toaster. Full functioning kitchen too so everything for a good stay.
