• Nancy (10/5): Exceptional - Wendy welcomed us warmly and had even turned on the heating for us in case we felt cold. This was indicative of the service we received from all the staff. We had a garden room, which was very spacious. The bathroom/ dressing room was enormous. The bed was comfortable, and the monogrammed bed linen and towels were luxurious. We enjoyed our breakfast. Although it states that it is a cold breakfast, they will happily make you fried or scrambled eggs with a little bacon and tomato. The location was perfect. The house is in a short cul de sac and, therefore, quiet, but it is only 2 minutes walk to manu, many cafes and restaurants and supermarkets etc. We happily walked around at night, and there was visible security. Highly recommended. I would have loved my breakfast tea in a teapot....... it's just a personal preference and unimportant. However, thinking about it now I'm sure that if I had asked, they would have given me a teapot.
• Kathrin (8/5): Ein toller Aufenthalt, gerne wieder. - Tolles Zimmer, uns wurde bei der Anreise ein kostenloses Upgrade angeboten, welches wir sehr gerne angenommen haben. Frühstück war sehr liebevoll angerichtet, ausreichend und sehr lecker. Die Lage ist hervorragend gewesen.

Very warm and friendly staff who also dropped me to my venue when it was raining heavily during a storm. Location suited me as I had to attend a workshop at the Stellenbosch academy of sports which was adjacent and easily accessible.

Walking distance from the city centre. - The location is quite with the calming sound of the river streams right next door, with access door to the river. The squirrels and surrounding nature was wonderful. A little getaway in the heart of the city. The room was very spacious and clean, loved the expresso machine included. The shower gel and hand soap/lotion accessories were divine!!! The breakfast had healthy options. The study area in a common space upstairs very well designed with sufficient natural lighting. Mosquitos but harmless.

• Mary (6/5): Disappointed due to the room facilities and no place to sit other than the bed. - Close to town Bedroom was so small, bathroom very cramped. We asked for twin beds on booking and the had a email asking it we needed twin beds the answer again was yes. Arrived to a double bed. On one side of bed there was 10 inches and difficult to get in and out of bed. No space to put our personal effects also the bathroom had no storage space.

• Susan (9/5): Tranquil stay in the heart of Stellenbosch - An excellent B&B situated in the heart of Stellenbosch surrounded by many restaurants, bars and historical monuments yet in a quiet and peaceful setting. We stayed in the garden room which was excellent with an amazingly comfortable bed and huge bathroom. The swimming pool area and garden provided plenty of sunbeds in lovely surroundings. Breakfast was good, served outside as it was sunny and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

They organised a wine tasting visit which was excellent. I can highly recommend it. The house had a colonial feel of it which fitted in with my expectations of Stellenbosch. No issues.

• Birgit (9/5): Direkte fussläufige Stadtanbindung - Das guest house liegt 10 min entfernt vo Stadtkern. Eine sehr sicher Gegend mit Sackgassenlage. Das Frühstück war super lecker mit frischem Ei , Müsli und Bufett an der Seite. Personal.so nett und zuvorkommend! Unser Zimmer Pieke lag direkt über dem Eingang und der Frühstücksareaa. Dadurch hatten wir es teilweise auch nachts sehr laut, wenn andere Gäste sich unten noch laut unterhielten.

• Elizabeth (9/5): Delightful, attractive, peaceful and comfortable guest house near to interesting historic and lively areas of Stellenbos - Lovely guest house in quiet location yet very close to/ walking distance to Dorp St and Church St. Stellenbosch has a great vibe, interesting streets, shops and eating places nearby and Rupert Museum (art gallery) well worth a visit. The house, garden, room, staff and breakfast at Rosenberg were all excellent. Minor suggestion: we would have enjoyed a cold beer in the garden on arrival but guest house doesn’t have a licence, however there are many places to go to nearby on Dorp St etc. And we loved the peaceful atmosphere of the guest house.

• Claudia (9/5): Perfekte Lage um Stellenbosch zu Fuß zu erkunden - Das Frühstück ist mehr als gut, das Personal sehr nett und der Außenbereich und Garten zum frühstücken ein Traum. Die Lage war für uns PERFEKT , wie auch der Parkplatz. Alles sehr sicher und die Lage des Guesthouse geht eigentlich nicht besser, Mitten im Herzen von Stellenbosch . GRANDIOS Unser Zimmer hätte eine Renovierung bzw eine Auffrischung verdient. Ein sehr ruhiges und schönes Zimmer mit einem veraltetem Badezimmer und Möbel.

The wallpaper feature over the entire wall in the garden room of a medieval feast scene seemed questionable but honestly if that is the only slightly negative aspect of this accommodation, it’s almost a positive.

• Justin (7/5): Small changes could really make this a great place to stay. - Good location in Stellenbosch town, easy and safe access to restaurants and shops in the town. Excellent secure parking. There were a number of small niggly maintenance issues in our room (for example the shower taps were erratic inter alia) which could easily be remedied if the rooms were checked comprehensively. Also in the room the dressing table was very small and completely used up by the coffee station. With no other shelf space or towel racks in the room or bathroom it did make for a bit of a cramped feeling.

• Maria (8/5): - Die Lage ist perfekt. Umgeben von einer schönen Gartenanlage wo man morgens draußen frühstücken kann oder nach einem Ausflug im Schatten mit ausreichenden Liegen sich erholen kann. Fussläufig zum Zentrum. Alle sind sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr überschaubar und es gab keinen Käse zur Auswahl nur verschiedene Wurstwaren. Für Vegetarier sehr eingeschränkte Auswahl. Das sollte tatsächlich geändert werden.

• Bronwyn (10/5): Beautiful accommodation set in a lovely town with access to vineyards and gentle walks. - Rozenburg is situated in a beautiful part of Stellenbosch. It is next to a stream that offers a lovely, easy walk. We watched squirrels and birds playing on the lawn as we ate breakfast and swam in the pool. Everything was more than I expected. Our stay was relaxing and we were able to walk around Stellenbosch as well as experience the vineyards through an organisation that collected us from our accommodation.

Man ist sehr schnell zu Fuss in der belebten Gegend von Stellenbosch, viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Praktisch, da das Gästehaus nur Frühstück anbietet. Es ist ebenfalls sehr ruhig gelegen, schöner Garten. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, mit zwei Koffern schon zu eng. Beim zweiten Aufenthalt jedoch stellte man uns einen zweiten Kofferständer zur Verfügung, tipptopp.

• Guest (10/5): Absolut empfehlenswert für einen Kurztrip nach Stellenbosch! - Ich hatte eine wundervolle Zeit im Rozenburg. Die Lage ist optimal – in einer ruhigen Straße, aber gleichzeitig nah zum Stadtzentrum. Somit ließ sich alles Wichtige gut zu Fuß erreichen. Unabhängig von der Lage ist das Guest House sehr schön und sauber, das Frühstück war hervorragend und das Personal unglaublich freundlich. Weiterer Pluspunkt: Da ich erst nachmittags in meine Unterkunft in Kapstadt einchecken konnte, konnte ich den Tag über auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den Pool verbringen und am Laptop arbeiten (schnelles Internet 👌🏼). Zu meiner Überraschung hatte das Guest House außerdem neben südafrikanischen auch europäische Steckdosen, ich habe meinen Adapter dort also nicht benötigt. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt war der Kühlschrank im Zimmer, der sehr laut war. Ausstecken hat das nachts geholfen 😉

• Ian (9/5): A lovely two night stay in Stellenbosch. - Our rooms were large and lovely and beds very comfortable. The garden and pool area were Beautiful and it was great to have a secure parking area within the grounds. Being able to have brekfast outside on the terrace was great and the manager and all the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Great location...steps away from Dorp street. Nothing!

Alles sehr gepflegt, sehr nett und freundlich der Empfang, ebenso beim auschecken Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiterin. Sie Anlage mit kleinem Pool sehr gepflegt, das Haus sehr hübsch, witziges und ansprechendes Interieur, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück. ./.

• David (8/5): A great time in Sea Point.the staff were great and very attentive - Great location for the surrounding areas; Cape Town, Table mountain, the V&A marina, Sea Point and Camps Bay. 2 bed apartment available for small family trip. No direct access to the ground floor via stairs and the lifts were often very slow to arrive due to other use. There was building work taking place in the building whilst we were there but that was only a small inconvenience.

• David (7/5): A lovely few nights spent is Stellenbosch and surrounding areas. - Great location for Stellenbosch and surrounding areas. Just a 10 minute walk to most places in Stellenbosch. The gardens and staff were lovely. The rooms whilst comfortable were not very sound proof. The doors had big gaps around them and the door locking system caused a lot of noise as there are lots of keys on the ring and with the lack of good fitting doors the sound really travels, as do the voices of other guests coming and going. Consequently we were woken late in the evening and early in the morning to the sound of doors being locked and guests moving around. We had a lot of confusion with our room as the lady that checked us in, again very lovely but sadly didn’t seem quite with it, put us in a room for 3 nights when there were other guests checked in to that room after 2 nights🥴. We talked through the issue for about 15 minutes before she seemed to understand the problem where it originated and what the solution was. The poor house staff had to clean 2 rooms very quickly and we had to move all our things to another room for our last night.

• Vania (9/5): Great spacious room with all basic amenities and great breakfast. - Great acommodation and breakfast. The pool was quite dirty.
• Heike (9/5): A lovely overnight experience during a conference stay in Stellenbosch - I enjoyed the spread of delicious fresh fruit and freshly baked scones for breakfast in the beautiful garden. The location is next to the beautiful Eerste River green area, wonderful for walks. The offers for cooked breakfast were limited to only fried or scrambled eggs and bacon, no omelette or vegetarian options.
• Jenny (10/5): Property was in a quiet area but with easy access to Stellenbosch and surrounding area. Great place to stay - The property was set in a lovely garden and the rooms had lovely areas to sit outside the rooms. The staff were very cheerful and accommodating .
