• Simba (3/5): Disappointing experience overall. - The location of the place is great, its next to the Vaal River and in a very secure upmarket golf estate. Our stay was unfortunately below expectations across several areas. From arrival, the reception we received lacked warmth and professionalism, which set the tone for the rest of the visit. The room itself showed clear signs of neglect, with dated and in some cases broken fixtures. Basic amenities were insufficient - there was no tea or coffee provided, and the kitchenware was incomplete, with not enough cutlery and plates available for use. Housekeeping standards also need improvement, as the beds were poorly made and linens, particularly pillowcases, were not properly fitted. Comfort was further impacted by the lack of air conditioning. While we were informed of underfloor heating, we were unable to operate it, leaving the room very cold. Breakfast was a particular disappointment. While edible - the quality and presentation were well below standard, to the extent that we chose to skip it entirely on the second day. Overall, the experience gave the impression of ongoing cost-cutting measures, which are clearly affecting both the quality of the facilities and the level of service provided. With attention to maintenance, staff training and basic guest provisioning, the property has potential - but in its current state, it falls well short of expectations.

No easy accessible electricity port to plug in a computer or charge a phone. Complementary breakfast was disappointing (some basic ingredients out of stock).

Pay a bit more and stay somewhere better - Beautiful golf course and its adjacent to the Vaal river When we got their we didnt het the twin room we booked. The receptionist whom is also the cleaner and the chef “cleaned” another room. The room had a lot of water damage. Bath was dirty. Mold on the shower head. Lights were dead and not replaced. Ceiling fan was broken. No tv remote. Room was dirty and the included breakfast was so disappointing.

• Mohlahleli (4/5): The place is really beautiful and tranquil, however maintenance could be better. - I unfortunately did not make it to breakfast, I would've loved have some though. I did not like the level of cleanliness in the rooms. Firstly, the sheets were not fresh... I suspected that they were not washed. Secondly, the carpet was dirty and had alot of stains. Thirdly, there were cockroaches in the room and other parts of the wardrobe had spider webs.

• Sbusisiwe (8/5): It was amazing - It was close to shopping malls and I loved the restaurant inside the Estate was very convenient. Loved that it was safe. The TV wasn’t working which was bad
• Percy (5/5): Served its purpose but nothing memorable at all. - Breakfast was just basic. Nothing special really. Access into the lodge was not bad even though navigation wasn't the best. I had to call the lodge to get the actual location. AIRCON should be standard. There was no TV remote so we couldnt watch anything on TV as a result.
