• Petra (10/5): - Die Unterkunft hat eine richtig tolle Lage in einer ruhigen Umgebung und mit wunderschöner Aussicht vom Balkon. Es war super sauber, das Frühstück war richtig lecker, und der Inhaber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem ein super Aufenthalt! /

• Arnoud (10/5): - Locatie is top! Vriendelijk personeel. Ik heb er zelf niet gegeten omdat ik graag aan het strand ging eten. Ik heb wel bij andere gasten het eten gezien en zag er erg goed uit. Kamers zijn prima voor deze prijs. Ruime kamer en prima schoon. Voor dit geld mag je absoluut niet klagen.

• Tomas (8/5): Very good - Very Clean, spacious room, very nice owners. The only thing we should point is that, even though it is very close to the beach, the best one and with more restaurants is dar away to go walking

• Philip (10/5): The best food and great hosts! - The really amazing thing about this place is the excellent food and the nice hosts Channa and his wife Sarojah (who is the magician in the kitchen!). Breakfast is classic Sri Lankan and it's very very good. Perfect freshly made egg hoppers and roti, fresh coconut sambol and the best dal we had in Sri Lanka, plus tea/coffee and fruit. We were so impressed with the breakfast we arranged to have dinner one night - superb rice and curry. Absolutely one of the nicest meals we had in Sri Lanka! Big room with lots of space, fan and a/c, view of the sea from the windows and balcony. Everything you need from a simple hotel. Quiet location (no traffic noises) but really convenient - maybe 5 minutes walk from the nearest beach, or a really quick tuktuk ride (like 3 or 400,=) to the superb beaches of Goyambokka and Silent Beach. Less than ten minutes stroll into town where there are shops, banks and proper Sri Lankan food places, whilst along the road along the beach are more touristy (but still v nice) seafront restaurants. Want a chill place to stay with lovely Sri Lankan food whilst exploring the relaxing beaches of Tangalla? Then I would 100% recommend Summer Lodge. Nothing. It met and exceeded all my expectations for the price. No complaints!

• Dion (9/5): Fantastic and Affordable Accomodation in Tangalle - Great accomodation near Pallikkuduwa Beach. Avoid the crowds of Mirissa / Matara. Fantastic breakfast, accomodation and hospitality all run by a lovely family. Highly recommend!
• Justina (5/5): Basic stay - The location is okay, close to a beach and also walking distance to tangalle city. The street can be loud though. Breakfast was good. The beds and pillows in our triple room where terrible. There are no mosquito nets and the room lacked cleanliness. Our door didn’t close properly. We didn’t feel comfortable at this place. The house has so much potential, put some effort in it!
• Veronique (9/5): Superb - The owner is very friendly and is happy ti help with all' kind of advice you may need. Breakfast was incredibly good, every day a new variation of the typical Sri Lanka breakfast. Location at 2 minutes walk to the beach.
• Juliana (6/5): Welcoming family and budget stay - The family were incredibly kind and friendly. The dinner was delicious and a decent price for the area. Authentic rice and curry. Breakfast was great too! The room was not as pictured. We unfortunately had ants in the room and bathroom. The bed had a bottom sheet that was a tapestry and when we laid on it, found it had a massive sticky spot in the middle.

Lovely hosts with a gorgeous Labrador named Murphy. Plumbing was a little challenging but was ok. Lovely breakfast ( we tried Sri Lankan and English)
• Alice (10/5): Exceptional - We had such a lovely stay here. The owner is very friendly and he was really helpful and cooked a great breakfast. Our room was very big and clean and the air con and wifi worked excellently. Great location to the town and beaches. Definitely recommend a stay at Summer Lodge if you are visiting Tangalle!
• Agnieszka (8/5): Very good - Good price, close to the beach. The lock in our door had been broken and fixed within an hour. Towels had some stains and the smell in the bathroom was awful.

Owner was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was tasty- toast bread, omelette, some fruits. I recommend to go there. Beautiful terrace view for the ocean
• Sammy (8/5): Very good - Had a really nice stay here, the owner was so friendly and hospitable, we absolutely loved the breakfast every morning - filling and tasty! We were given lime juice and a local snack on arrival and the view of the sea from the balcony was lovely! The AC isn't freezing but the ceiling fan does a decent job of keeping the room cool and the windows can be opened for a breeze. Great location to either walk to the beach and restaurants or hop on a bus, silent beach is the best for relaxing and only a 40 minute walk or 10 minute bus. Comfortable bed with a mosquito net and decent shower, very clean and a good size room with chairs and tables on the balcony. WiFi was a bit iffy but that's pretty standard in Sri Lanka so can't be helped! Would recommend

• Jitske (10/5): Lovely stay in a big, clean room near to the beach! - We had an amazing stay at Summer Lodge, next to the beach! A big, clean room with airconditioning. There were fresh, new sheets on the bed. The bathroom is also really big, a nice warm water shower and fresh towels. The hosts are so friendly and warm. Breakfast was delicious and there was a parking space for our Tuktuk on the terrain. Food: They made a delicious breakfast for us, with egg, yoghurt, honey, coffee and fruit. It’s also an option to have dinner here. Safety: It’s safe in the neighborhood and on the terrain. They have a backyard for parking and a gate that closes the terrain so you’ll feel safe. Location: The hotel is near to the beach and close to the centre. A perfect location. Nothing, it was perfect.
