• Veerle (8/5): - de kamer was klein maar OK; het ontbijt was duur. Geen buffet maar een standaard café-ontbijt aangevuld met één ding naar keuze. Hierbij moest dan nog 5 euro extra betaald worden als je de charcuterie of de zalm nam. Een beetje ontgoochelend voor een 4-sterrenhotel.

Kamers waren klein maar practisch mooi en schoon ingericht. toilet en douche waren super Ontbijt eerder open. Wij moesten al om 07:30 weg dus konden niet ontbijten omdta het ontbijt om 8 uur begon

Breakfast really was a bit underwhelming the timing didn’t work for us because we had to leave work at 8 o’clock and they wouldn’t serve anything earlier. It was just one small dish included and a hot drink and this wasn’t really very clear on the booking. The room was also quite noisy with the trams and buses outside of the Window.

The room is so so small…and even worst …there is no place (no shelf’s, no single chair, no pull outs of any kind) to store even content of 1 small suitcase… Considering the price of the room I would strongly advice ppl to look for alternatives…

• Ester (8/5): Siamo stati molto bene! - Bella struttura, nuova e pulita. La posizione è ottima, ci siamo spostati unicamente a piedi e in bici senza mai prendere un mezzo. I musei sono tutti molto vicini, il quartiere è molto carino, pieno di bar e ristoranti. Staff gentile e accogliente, sempre disponibile. Utile la possibilità di noleggiare e parcheggiare le bici in loco. Carino il drink di benvenuto da poter usufruire al bar. Letto comodo, buona colazione. Buono il caffè e tisane in camera. In generale siamo stati bene e trovando una buona offerta (a meno di €200 a notte) ci tornerei. La stanza è davvero piccolina, abbiamo faticato a trovare spazio per sistemare i vestiti e poggiare le valigie (noi avevamo solo due zaini, ma se arrivi con una valigia più grande o un trolley non hai dove posare la valigia e lo spazio per i vestiti non è sufficiente). Mancano i ganci per appendere gli asciugamani (ci sono solo due e devi scegliere se appendere l'accappatoio o gli asciugamani). La colazione alla carta è ok, ma per soggiorni più lunghi dopo un po' annoia poter ordinare sempre le stesse cose, non c'è molta scelta di dolce. Manca il bidet (hanno un wc con tecnologia bidet integrato che personalmente non riuscirei mai ad utilizzare), pulizia giornaliera in camera potrebbe migliorare (aspirapolvere non molto accurato). Nel messaggio di benvenuto ti dicono che l'acqua è in omaggio ma non specificano che per i giorni successivi è a pagamento, infatti lo abbiamo fatto notare e non ci hanno addebitato nulla. La piazza sotto diventa rumorosa nei giorni festivi, noi siamo stati in settimana e di notte abbiamo comunque dormito bene.
• Sophia (10/5): Location, care, and look! - Staff were so generous with their time and care and super personable. We were able to drop our bags since we arrived in the city way before check-in. They let us know we had a complimentary drink at the restaurant, and we tried the chicken satay dinner which was tasty there too. The room amenities and features were luxurious, as appropriate a feeling as with the name Diamond. The mirrored ceilings in the hallways made it feel so big! Tram right in front of the hotel! Location is close by to things like the Rijksmuseum, and we had a great Dutch meal at The Pantry. Have to walk a while if you do get a taxi/Uber, like getting to the airport or coming back in the rain... since the hotel is central in a pedestrian/ tram linked area. I will say I kept walking by the elevator on our floor since it all looks the same, so that was a little confusing. When we arrived in the room someone had previously unplugged the power strip so coffee machine, fridge, etc were all off. I reached down and found the unplugged power strip, but it was all covered in dust so that wasn't a great first welcome in the room (but not sure who's fault that is).

• evan.p (9/5): Great location with comfy beds and solid amenities. - Included breakfast is located in bottom floor cafe, it's yogurt, fruit, croissant and a little pastry along with an additional menu with eggs (some of which are an extra charge). Staff is friendly, it does the trick to get the day started. The water temp in the shower could have had a bit higher peak, some of the showers felt a little cooler than desired. Overall a good stay though.
• Miranda (9/5): Tophotel! - De locatie aan het Leidseplein was fantastisch. Ideale plek om Amsterdam te verkennen. Alle kanten op wat te doen. Trams stoppen voor de deur. Kamer klein maar luxe en mooi. Heerlijk bed, fijne regendouche. En de kamers op de vijfde verdieping hebben een raam met zitje en leuk stads uitzicht. Als tip zou het in de lente fijn zijn om de beschikking te hebben over een dunner dekbed. Er lag een heerlijk dik dekbed maar veel te heet voor de tijd van het jaar.

It is very quiet. The staff are friendly. There is really not much to not like with this hotel. If you want this location in Amsterdam it is probably the best value hotel for that level of stay in the area. It is basically the same as the Marriot but almost half the price. Nothing.
