• Tamara (7/5): - The room was simple but had everything I needed. The communal kitchen downstairs was very well equipped (even with a cheese fondue set!) with a good amount of fridge space allocated to each room. I liked that you could open the window. Soap in the shower cubicle would be handy. Lighting in bathroom was dim and it stayed quite humid in there. The wifi was pretty bad. Just to make others aware - it's a 15 min walk uphill from Disentis station. Not an issue for me, but might be good to know.

• Liliane (8/5): Nous avons passé 4 belles journées en famille. - Emplacement à proximité de la télécabine, de la Coop et du centre sportif. Chambre simple, mais pratique, avec de nombreux crochets pour toutes nos affaires de ski. Local à ski avec supports chauffants pour chaussures. Cuisine bien équipée. Dans la cuisine, il manquait des gants pour le four.

• Lutz (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft, sehr gute Ausstattung - Es gibt eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit je zwei Kocheinheiten und Spülbecken sowie für jedes Zimmer einen eigenen Bereich in Kühlschränken. Es gibt Sitz- und Essgelegenheiten direkt draussen am Bach. Die Lage in Disentis gibt viele Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen und Ausflüge.
• Diana (9/5): A great hostel base either for a stopover or for a couple of days hiking. - The hostel serves evening meals and had a lively bar. We stayed in the private rooms block, and this also had a large very well equipped kitchen and drying room. The rooms are small but have everything you need and the staff were friendly. The photo on booking.com is of the newer house where the private rooms are. It looks plain and boring and if more places had been available we might not have booked. The main hostel is a great building and had a great vibe, but is a bit out of town, so having your own transport is helpful.

• Jenny (9/5): Very comfortable - Great views from our room. Room was clean and comfortable for two adults and one teenager. Beds were great! Shared kitchen facilities were very useful. Wifi was virtually non existent in bedrooms - fine in kitchen. Late check in (5pm) was very difficult for us because we were arriving by train but were able to leave our luggage in the kitchen and we ended up being able to check in at 4.
• Caroline (8/5): Still we would return. The food in the affiliated restaurant is really good - Very near the center of disentis. Near winter walks, ski station. The room we had was a bit tiny, and not so many possibilities to tidy clothes and so on

• Sally (10/5): Great place - Fantastic accommodation. Great room, comfy beds, great bedding. The kitchen was really good, wonderfully equipped, and spacious. Parking was good, as was security. Wonderful views with some cracking extra touches, like access to washing machine and tumble dryer. The bathroom was a little small and dark for a 5 bedded room. The shower curtain was a little tricky for the kids to deal with, so the floor got soaked a couple of times

• Rohan (8/5): A good weeks ski holiday in a Swiss mountain village - very clean modern room and facilties and a great value for money price The 250m walk uphill to the lift meant I needed to rent a locker at the lift for my ski gear rather than carry it up each day
• Alexandra (9/5): Comfy attic in the mountains. - The location was extremely convenient, not far from the Sport Center Fontauna and the funicular to Caishavedra. The common kitchen is well organized and has everything you need for a dinner with friends and family: dishwasher, stoves, kitchen supplies and even board games. Our room was right under the roof, on the third floor (beware, there is no elevator). It was very spacious with a sitting area and a sleeping area. It was very comfortable to read on the sofa one of the books from the shelf. It was a bit odd to have the check-in that late (at 15:00), but at least we had the possibility to leave our luggage and walk a bit around Disentis.

• Tiago (8/5): Very good - Great location in Disentis, no need to move the car. Five minutes to gondola, train station, supermarket. Nice bar/restaurant on site. (Cool music, btw.) Communal kitchen with all you need to cook, plenty of storage place in shelves and refrigerator. Simple but functional five-bed room, comfy bed. Excellent staff. Room a bit too warm at times, no obvious way to regulate temperature. No blinds on windows, may wake up with light. Lights a bit too dim in the bathroom. Bathroom could use a shelf.

Small river next to the property was nice.we used this place a few years back and it was so good back then, I booked it again. Some of the staff weren't helpful.. Breakfast was really poor for the cost. We couldn't check out as no staff were there so we left room keys with other guests. I think it's more of a winter venue.
