• Tomer (1/5): Poor. Very very poor - Flat was smelly with moist and dampness, not appropriate in any way. After complaining, the manager admitted they had a flood from the neighbours and didn't yet get the smell out. We gave up and took another hotel

• Ksenija (5/5): Passable - The apartment’s location was close to the area we were visiting and close to the metro station. We informed the owners that we would be arriving 23.30-00.00 and they sent us a code for the locker with the keys but when we arrived the code did not work. We tried to contact the owner by telephone, messages and emails but had no response. We had to look for another hotel to spend the night, and as we were checking in to the new hotel they finally sent us a message saying “for security reasons” they had changed the code for the locker key the day before and did not inform us of this. We were thankful that the taxi driver stayed with us the whole time until we got in, because the street the apartment is on seemed rough and not one we wanted to spend the night outside in. The owner did not even apologize for this and just said that because we had received the code a couple days before the trip, they had changed it. The apartment also had very bad sound proofing and even with all the windows and blinds closed we could hear all the noise from the streets below. Additionally, there was no hairdryer despite it being in the amenities list, and the washing machine had no capsules so we couldn’t do any washing.
• Stephen (3/5): Not as described, tatty and noisy - Not that much, it came to my rescue as my previous apartment from this site fell through and we had to move at short notice. I had to find another apt after the 1st I booked fell through. Booked this as its in the same area, It is not that spacious and so misleadingly described, and feels like its furnished from charity shops with mis-matched furniture, scratchy hard towels a wide screen TV that has no TV channels tuned, The bathroom is very small, and has a bath, sink, toilet and washing machine squeezed in, the door crashes into the sink every time you open the door. The ceiling is just over 6ft high, so it was impossible for us to shower and stand upright, the shower head hit my chest area not head. Kitchen basic but useable. The apt is in a highly seedy area, with prostitutes and brothels down the road, and the area has a disgusting stench of urine. The walls everywhere are covered in graffiti and many of the buildings are just a heap of rubble or somewhere for people to dump rubbish. It is opposite a car repair shop, and has no nice view from the balcony. The roaring noise of traffic is 24 hours and you can't shut it out even with the balcony doors closed. There was someone's washing on the dryer on the balcony. Thank god it had air conditioning. About a 7 minute walk to the nearest metro station - Metaxourgio. There is a wonderful restaurant called Mironi about 5 minutes walk away, and one next door called Alexander the Great, but you do have to walk past brothels' open doors and pavements strewn with used condoms. Also a wonderful bakery patisserie called The Bread Factory, across the main road, four minutes away, for breakfast and lunch foods (although it is populated outside by beggars).
• Paul (7/5): Close to center but very noisy - Short to metro, very close to the center Sliding doors of both bedrooms exit to the street and are all but well closing with a hell of a noice from traffic coming in. Noice absorption strips around the windows casing would have done a lot. Hot water is on a limited timer. No instructions how to put it on outside these hours are given (you have to manipulate the mains yourself)
