Guest Reviews
- Aliette (1/5): NOT STAY-dirty roaches and far and secluded - Cockroaches, dirty, broken doors, and cabinets, no sheets or comforters, dark, AC barely work, the pool looks nice during the day, but obviously I left. The gentleman working in the front was very nice. Cockroaches, dirty, broken doors, and cabinets, no sheets or comforters, dark, AC barely work, the pool looks nice during the day, but obviously I left. Way too Secluded

- sharon (9/5): Peaceful stay - It's out of the busy street, so it's quiet .excellent pool. Mani is a great host ,I enjoy being his guest. The place is great for nature lover. I am around. I will be back. A small renovation will make the place even better .
Short drive to town, so a car or motorbike is useful.

- Perez (4/5): No volvería nunca.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Teodora (10/5): Exceptional -
- Auris (7/5): Good -
- Rex (8/5): Loved the staff and the place - The staff were amazing. Manny and Kim were always ready to help. Manny arranged our scooter rental and our transfer taxi, both at a good price. Thank you guys so much for a great time. The hotel is off the main road so its quiet. Loved the place and the swimming pool is really great. The kitchen needs work, fridge replaced, and a bigger counter to prep food on.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Oleksandra (1/5): Bad -
- Deanna (4/5): Water roulette and payment discrepancies - The pool was clean and a nice temperature. There was supplies available for bring back food to cook. The staff was friendly. The rooms were a good size. We were there for a week and received one towel each. There was no room cleaning done.
When we arrived I paid the price as stated by booking confirmation, next day we discovered that it did not include taxes. After paying the Booking.com stated taxes manager still insisted we owed more money. I was told we "even received complimentary AC", it only worked in one room. I kept stating we needed to figure it out together. He wanted me to call myself. Last day we were suppose to do so, but he was busy with another client, apparently there quoted price was also different.
Wifi was out for the last three days and even the local data I paid for didn't work unless I went half a block down the street.
The pillows were so huge they were uncomfortable. I couldn't even use it for a knee support for my hips. I ended using my travel pillow.
One room had no mirrors. The other, a patio door that didn't open. Interesting it is the same room as the non-working AC.
Be prepared for no showers. I got caught once with shampoo in my hair and no water coming from the shower head. Had to do it via bottle full from the sink. Fortunately that time the sink was working. Oh and consider yourself lucky if the toilet flushes twice a day.
- Frederick (7/5): Good -
- Domili (7/5): It’s good for the price. Staff is awesome and the pool too - The pool and the staff The window in my room didn’t close propey
- Rajendra (1/5): It's not a good experience - No water in room toilet and sink
- Dwayne (8/5): Really nice hotel in a more local area - The grounds are beautiful and the host was very helpful. Although the location may seem a little odd, being a ways out of Cabarete and in an area that is a bit rundown (there are a lot of places in the area that are abandoned, interspersed with what look to be beautiful villas and smaller local places), for me it was a bonus. There are a number of small businesses that are helpful in the area as well as restaurants. An isolated beach is a short walk away and the place was quite quiet. We had hoped to have breakfast, but did not say so the night before, so it was not prepared. But to be fair, we may have been told and just misunderstood, as otherwise the host was very thorough in explaining how things worked.
Water pressure in the bathroom was extremely low. I believe they were having trouble with this at the time we were there.
Although the location was a plus for me, it could be too far from Cabarete (less than a 10 minute drive) for others.
- Michele (10/5): The best I have ever experienced. - The locale in the midst of a rather low-end area was a paradise. The variety of trees, shrubs and flowers framed the most beautiful architecture. Individual red-tiled roof houses were scattered throughout the property making it all most picturesque and welcoming. At the centre of the property was a beautiful circular pool topped by a gazebo that housed a restaurant. This was the centre-piece which was quite eye catching. The staff worked hard and went beyond by being maintenance, cooks and drivers. This was the best experience I have ever had and I am 85 years old. Nothing
- Alec (5/5): Passable -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Regitze (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to stay!
The staff is so sweet and helpful and go above and beyond to help their guests.
Pool is great, rooms are clean and bed is comfy.
Will definitely stay here again!
- Adam (1/5): Bad - Nothing Property was not as advertised never stated cause it was not clean the rooms
- Pierre (8/5): Very good -
- Frederick (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (3/5): Lies lies lies, beware - The pool The power was disconnected and they only ran a generator for a few hours a day. (They don’t pay their bills)There is nothing onsite to purchase. (water, food). There are no dishes, utensils, pots, etc in the kitchen. Definitely not fireplaces in every room lol. There is no bbq, it’s a fire heater for outside. Not possible to do your own laundry. You pay 350 pesos, only on Tues/thurs and you supply detergents and are required to remove your clothes from the line. They are accused me of stealing two towels, when I had 8 of my own that they washed. I had to wait three days to get my rent money back so I could leave this hell hole that is nothing like the description.
- Antonio (10/5): SECLUDED AMAZING PARADISE - LOCATION FACILITIES STAFF IF YOU DONT HAVE OUT OF YOUR COUNTRY SMARTPHONE SERVICE GET A CLARO SIM CARD WHEN YOU ARRIVE 5 GB FOR 5 DAYS 150 PESOS $3! NO INTERNET AT HOTEL
- Juan (9/5): Superb -
- Sixto (10/5): Eceeded expectations - Very confortable, quite, clean and good location NA
- Jean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chantal (5/5): Passable - Quiet Having to pay cash only. My boyfriend is Dominican, he knows prices - they charged us "tourist" prices for beer and cigarettes
- Katja (3/5): Poor - The host is nice and he really tries to run a place and make guests happy. The location of apartment is close to the beach (400meters) and small market (200meters) The whole place is old and needs renovation. There is almost no furniture in the room, the bad is broken, the mattress feels like it was 100 years old and total uncomfortable, with a hole in the middle. We were not sure if the room and bed was properly cleaned before our arrival (there was sand on the bed).
- Hratch (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jasmine (1/5): Bad -
- Hinestrosa (8/5): love I'm back again - nice capuchino, the people work there are excellent, many 10+ and the rest the same very cold beer the pool clean and the water perfect
- Lreynoso (9/5): Superb -
- Przem (9/5): Superb -
- Jeff (10/5): Exceptional - Staff and people that i met were very friendly No restaurant on site but manny has a list of vendors that can deliver so it was ok to get food in the evening
- Juan (7/5): Good -
- Anna (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (7/5): Good - The pool and the staff Location⁸
- Iiro (9/5): Superb - Nice place and very good price-quality ratio, the atmosphere was better than what pictures say.
The hotel area was fenced and inside there were several smaller one and two floor buildings and each had 2-6 rooms. In the middle there is this island with a bar and music was played if asked, I think there might have been also possibility to eat (we didnt). In the area there were few (nice) dogs and in the one corner two goats in separate fenced area. The nearest beach was about 10min walk away (without bars and restaurants) and to the more popular beaches (with all activities) in the center of the city it took about 10min by car.
The man in charge (Manny) during our visit was extremely helpful and nice, and he made sure you had nice time. He gave nice tips about surroundings and places and what could be done etc.
I will return back to this place for another visit.
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Manny was excellent host. Attentive available all hours of the day. Friendly. Air conditioners are old and do not cool off tooms sufficiently.
- Duane (7/5): Good -
- Santa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marina (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing stay! Will definitely visit this place again!
- Scriven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (1/5): Bad - Could be great. But no. Not ready to be open for business.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - the nature and the service at the bar was perfect
- Jo (8/5): Content in Cabarete (east) - The hotel is out of town, so it's very quiet and peaceful. The room was large and spacious and very comfortable and the pool was a real bonus and a nice area to relax in. The beach is a short walk away and is very peaceful too. I wasn't aware that the hotel was located far from town, and got lost when I tried to find it, and there was an issue with the chef so there was no breakfast available and I had to go out to get dinner, but the bar manager kindly took me into town to get some dinner and to visit a supermarket to get breakfast.
- Petya (10/5): Exceptional - Great place for people who love nature and animals and a great deal for the price. 10 min by car to Cabarete center.
- Lagumdžija (2/5): Very poor - Nothing Place in middle of nothing. 100 dogs alone walk . Wi fi terrible dirty no beach around broken house.....
- Johnson (8/5): Very good -
- Benjamin (10/5): Great place for a very good price! - Close to a miles long natural beach and the river Delta. Nice pool bar for food and drinks. Feels like a tropical garden with a very large pool.
- Kaloyan (10/5): Exceptional - Would totally come back for longer if I ever come back to the Dominican republic - amazing attitude, quality of the facilities, delicious food.
- Ren (10/5): Happy with our stay - The rooms were the same as per the photo and description; you could hear the birds singing all day. Nice getaway.Good deal for the pricing they charge. The kids love the little goats they have near the property; we walk to the beach. It's a very beautiful beach without any tourists. My husband go to La Boca for kitesurf lesson.
