Guest Reviews
- Rob (10/5): Fantastic Apartment and Pub
(Bistro) - Fantastic apartment, absolutely stunning..
Modern, clean,, luxurious spring to mind.
All the staff were very friendly and the whole experience was excellent.
Exceptional value for the price..
Food and drink bang on as well Nothing
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional - Location perfect for stay easy to get to Leeds Bradford and local area and to motorways etc.
- Susan (9/5): Lovely apartment that has everything you need - The location was good for the place I needed to get to and the apartment had everything you needed and was lovely. Nicola and her team were very good in all aspects. Nothing really apart from would have been nice for the Bistro to be open longer in the evening.
- Dawn (10/5): Nicola was very accommodating in every way. My dog is raw fed & she organised a small freezer for me. Lovely lovely - Everybody was very welcoming & friendly Nothing at all
- Angela (10/5): Excellent value or money -
- Debra (9/5): Cozy hideaway - Perfect little hideaway. It was a little annoying with the road noise while we were there, 'cause we had to keep the windows open on those hot summer nights. Previously unnecessary.
Friendly atmosphere
- Guy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adzk20 (10/5): Amazing!! - Wow! Absolutely amazing, the room was stunning, staff are very friendly, the food was delicious. Will definitely be staying again
- Susan (9/5): A very comfortable and convenient place to stay. - Lovely apartment with excellent facilities and a very comfortable bed. The kitchen looked very well-equipped, although we didn’t cook. Nothing we didn’t like, but it would have been nice to have a coffee table to put drinks on and a seat near the bedroom windowsill for doing hair and makeup.
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional -
- Debra (10/5): Hidden Gem - The apartment is comfortable and inviting, featuring a well-equipped and spacious kitchen. The staff are friendly and willing to assist. Very steep staircase could be a challenge. Handrail is about 200mm short at top of stairs
- Jenna (10/5): Wish we were staying longer, can’t wait to go back. We had a fabulous stay. - Everything, it was stunning. Loved the unique, quirky decor There was nothing I didn’t like
- Stewart (10/5): Wife present - Everything Nothing
- Helen (10/5): Amazing! - What a beautiful quirky apartment decorated and furnished to a high standard. The friendly owner has an excellent eye detail. Everything has been thought of to ensure guests have all home comforts. The added bonus is the popular bistro below, which we recommend you use as food is excellent and staff are friendly. We visit Leeds regularly, so this will always be our first choice as it's in a perfect location to visit Leeds and the surrounding area.
- Carl (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Damilola (10/5): Exceptional -
- Midnight (10/5): Exceed expectations and kept doing so the longer I stayed. - The Staff were amazing, felt welcomed from the moment I met them.
The room is stunning and spacious.
The area is super quiet
Also the food downstairs is great and brilliantly priced.
If you are looking for a place to chill or somewhere to come back to that just feels welcoming and clean. Definitely think of staying here. Absolutely nothing, probably one of the best places I've stayed.
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Isabel (9/5): Will definitely be back - Lovely spacious apartment, very well equipped.
Nikki was very welcoming and helpful.
The bistro downstairs is open 7 days serving delicious food and is very dog friendly The only minor issue for us was that the slatted blind in the bedroom didn’t block out the light from the street light outside the window so we didn’t sleep as well as we would have otherwise
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rob (8/5): Fantastic standard of property- highly recommend - Extremely well equipped and lovely decor throughout. Really comfortable and high quality facilities. Hosts were very helpful and check in /out was really straight forward. Good WiFi and amazing shower! Will definitely stay again The flat is fantastic but is above a popular restaurant . On Thursday-saturday evenings there is some noise below from the kitchen but always quiet by 10pm and has never been a problem for me.
- Alan (10/5): Brilliant enjoyable Will be back soon - One word: everything Accommodation food Drinks all brill very modern everything you need Lively interior design private Great tv WiFi etc Nothing
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lindsay (10/5): Exceptional - Nice, clean, modern, and comfortable. Nicola was lovely and welcoming.

- Karen (8/5): A hidden gem - This apartment was HUGE much bigger than we expected. it had everything we could possibly need and more. fab location for visiting our family in nearby Pudsey. Nicola was incredibly helpful and all the staff were lovely and friendly. The only slight downside was it was quite cold in the apartment overnight, but it had snowed outside and it was December!

- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mick (10/5): Looking forward to staying again soon - Excellent host, very friendly and welcoming. Fabulous breakfast with plenty of choice, all using top quality ingredients. Nicola and all the staff in the restaurant were absolutely on the ball.
- Diane (2/5): Could be great… but not on this occasion sadly - Booked the one bed apartment for location to family, we booked just the one night so although there were quite a few issues, cleanliness one of them .. it was pointless reporting it so late in the evening when we arrived as a re clean at that time of night would not have been convenient due to our 8 hour journey.
It is well equipped with everything you need including cleaning products.
Handed the keys to a member of staff in the kitchen at the foot of the stairs on departure.
Was not asked if everything was ok with our stay so this is an honest, straightforward review. We are not looking for any refunds but think it only fair to highlight things that we feel were not worth £92 for one nights stay. First impressions count…
Walking past a busy kitchen with a door wide open permanently at the foot of the stairs to the apartment door was not pleasant. The smell just hit you and as the evening went on the smell in the apartment got worse. We kept all our coats and luggage in the bedroom to avoid things smelling of cooked food..and watched Tv in the bedroom due to odour in the lounge
Ended up putting a rolled towel under the door. Draft excluders around the whole door frame and some kind of plug ins would help immensely…
Put a few bits in the fridge, this was not clean inside so had a wipe round that… crumbs on toaster …generally not that clean.
Bed sheets were really bobbly and the odd hair here and there,
Bathroom on first glance looked amazing, then I noticed behind the door the floor was filthy, dirt and what also looked like dog hair…
Big ball of something under cabinet, again looks like dog hair and cobwebs down the left side of the toilet complete with spider.
Instructions how to turn heating on would help future guests as we couldn’t find any control panels, presuming these are controlled else where?
As we left the apartment, breakfast service was in full swing in the kitchen again…
Got in our car smelling of food again for our onward journey.
Such a shame as this could be such a great place, but the kitchen smells in the entrance way and up the staircase really put us off and the bathroom cleanliness…
- Saunders (10/5): Exceptional - There was everything to like. TV to watch anything you'd like in either the sitting room or in the bedroom. Fantastic kitchen and shower facilities also. Good places to walk your dogs if you have them and not far from Leeds city centre. All in all an excellent establishment.
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional - Nicola has made the apartment perfect and could not be more helpful. this is my go to apparent every time I work in the area.
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional - everyone is so friendly and couldn't be more helpful. the apartment has absolutely everything you could need
- Simon (10/5): Comfortable one bedroom flat fitted out to a high standard, close to Leeds City Centre but also in the countryside. - Lovely one bedroom apartment, fitted out to a high standard, quiet and private. Excellent breakfasts available in the Bistro downstairs, where the staff were friendly and helpful. Would use again. Nothing
- Aisha (10/5): An absolute gem! - This apartment is stunning! The layout is great & I was blown away by the decor. Lots of quirky little bits that make you smile. There's lots of space, great facilities & even had little thoughtful extras like fresh milk in the fridge. Me and my friend were pleasantly surprised by this apartment. Next time I'm in Leeds, this will be my 1st choice to book if it's available. I had to leave early, but my friend had breakfast in the bistro below & said it was really really good! Nothing at all
- Richard (9/5): Great value and classy place to stay. - Really nice and roomy apartment. Funky decor which was to my taste. Well equipped. Very helpful host. Traffic noise a little too audible.
- Saffron (9/5): Great apartment and excellent value - Very spacious, well decorated and with everything you need. Wish I could have stayed longer to fully enjoy Nothing to note
- Samantha (9/5): Superb - The staff were very friendly, the apartment was excellent and done to a very high standard. We had breakfast in the Bistro below which was fab. Would definitely recommend and return. There was nothing we didn't like.
- Mike (9/5): Superb -
- Woodward (10/5): Fantastic Stay - Hidden Gem - Beautiful accommodation. Exceptional staff. Lovely bar and restaurant. Highly recommend.
- Tiffany (9/5): Pleasurable experience, hassle and stress free - Amazing host, tastefully decorated very comfortable and we brought our dogs which was the first time travelling with them and was made to feel very comfortable and reduced a lot of the stress. Nothing to add
- Chelsea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Nicola was absolutely brilliant I messed up with my booking but Nicola sorted everything out for us I can't thank her enough 🙏 all the other staff was friendly and helpful and very welcoming we can't wait to come back in September we was over the moon this place is fantastic There wasn't anything we didn't like apart from we couldn't stay longer
- Tony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jiaxin (3/5): Poor - Spacious The property is next to the road. Cars pass through the whole night. The noise isn’t helping my sleep. The blinds in the property aren’t good enough to block out lights.
- Sasha (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam_mbb (7/5): Quite a good place to stay but a few things could be improved - The apartment is renew and offers more facilities than a hotel room. The owner is helpful, there is a lot of parking space. No wardrobe - only set of hangers on the bar instead (I don't know the name of that ;) ). In the bedroom, only small part of the window can be open. The shower cabin is with no door to close and despite of my efforts I had water on the floor every time after taking a shower. No curtains in the living room.
- Michelle (10/5): Leeds City break. - The accommodation exceeded our expectations. We were only staying overnight to attend a function in Leeds city centre, and really wish that we were staying longer to fully appreciate all that the apartment had to offer. Nothing! Couldn't fault it.
- Eden (10/5): Beautiful and welcoming home from home! - If I could give The Beulah more than 10, I would! I arrived after a long drive (from Spain!) and it was like a home from home. Nicola was very welcoming to both me and my dog. The apartment is stunning- beautifully and stylishly decorated, well equipped and very comfortable.
I had the best breakfast I have had in some time in the pub downstairs! The location is far enough from the city centre for peace and quiet, nice walks and stunning views of the city but close enough for me to get to an event in Millenium square quickly and easily.
Thank you so much to Nicola and staff- Naya and I will be looking for any excuse to come back! everything was perfect
- Martin (10/5): Beulah Stay - The apartment was gorgeous, lots of attention to detail and everything you could want from an overnight stay, spotless, comfy and classy. Loved it.
Also the bistro and sweet shop were exceptional, all dog friendly and welcoming. The owner Nicci was a star. The only down side was the morning traffic, which can't be avoided on a main commuter route into Leeds.
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (9/5): Fabulous Apartment! - Apartment is beautifully decorated, very spacious and has everything you could need for a home away from home.
Nicola is super helpful and friendly and it's reassuring having her on site. Just the entrance to the apartment and it's a minor compromise for everything else you get.
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kemmy (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely furnished and spacious apartment with great attention to detail. Has a fully stocked kitchen which was great too, the bistro downstairs was great, we enjoyed having a few drinks downstairs during the day and the staff were all so nice. The food menu looked excellent too, we had other plans this time so did not eat there but will most certainly factor in a meal downstairs if we stay here again. I would not hesitate to book the Beulah again if I visit Leeds, it was a lovely experience . The host was excellent with communication too I would make only one suggestion and that is perhaps to maybe put together a little local guide for visitors inside the apartment so that we can access information about what there is to do locally on foot or a short driving distance. But this is just a suggestion and doesn't change how lovely our stay was at this apartment.
- David (8/5): Good modern pleasant apartment poor entrance - The apartment was very nicely appointed modern and clean The entrance is a little bit shabby, but don't be concerned once you are in the apartment. It's very nice and the facilities good.
- Adam (10/5): Perfect stay - Was anazing All amazing
- Chris (9/5): Really good apartment, excellent value for money - Really friendly staff, very welcoming. A fantastic well appointed room Nothing
- James (10/5): So comfortable it feels like being at home. - I have stayed in a lot of different hotels in Leeds, and having worked in Leeds for six years, I have seen all kinds of hotels and B&Bs and apartments, and this place is far and away the best that I’ve ever stayed in. It’s close enough to Leeds to get into town quickly, but far enough away that it is nice and quiet in the evening. The surrounding area is a gorgeous tranquil Yorkshire countryside, with amazing views out the window of the apartment. The apartment itself is very spacious and feels incredibly homely, with a comfortable sofa, a big TV, a kitchen with everything you would need, with a cosy bed and rainfall shower in the other room. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and answering all our questions and helping us up to our room, even offering room service! I have never actually written a hotel review before, but after visiting this place I felt compelled to because it is a truly wonderful place, and I am looking forward to returning. N/A - truly no issues. A fantastic stay.
- Michelle (10/5): The host was very welcoming and responsive. Lovely walks from the door. - The apartment is modern and clean. It has all required facilities.
- Wendy (9/5): Stunning apartment - The apartment is simply stunning
Very comfortable with everything you need.
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is complete with everything you could possibly need. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough.
- Ashley (6/5): Lovely place - Apartment was lovely, in a beautiful setting There was confusion over the price of the apartment. It isn't easily clear what the price will be on booking.com but the host seemed quite annoyed at us for what was a genuine mistake and despite immediately offering to pay more. The pricing structure needs to be clearer.
- Helen (10/5): It was a perfect location to visit the Christmas markets - The size of the apartment, the staff, amazing breakfast. Tea, coffee and fresh milk on arrival. We could not fault our visit. Loved everything
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brian (10/5): Highly recommended. - The apartment was nicely decorated. Though it had IKEA furniture, it was not furnished by IKEA -- very tasteful. The kitchen appliances were excellent. The beds were excellent. There was really nothing to complain about.
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Matthew (10/5): Great - Would totally recommend, from booking to leaving the host made sure everything was ok Nothing
- Amy (9/5): Superb -
- Sanchia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kenny (8/5): Ideal for a short stopover - 1. It's a multi roomed apartment so had a lot of space for a couple
2. Great food in bar / restaurant below Just a note that there is a flight of stairs up to the apartment
- Jason (9/5): Will come again - Nice furniture
Well kitted out with every appliance you could need
Good value even though only 2 of us
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional quality - The apartment was beautiful. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable. I could not fault anything.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. Lovely cozy living room, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed. It was one of the best sleeps I've had in a long while. Rain shower with good water pressure and temperature.
Friendly staff greeting you from the Bistro team. below. Nothing.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Lovely home away from home! - I was pleasantly surprised that on a Friday night, we weren't kept awake by tonnes of drunk people. Slept super soundly and it was really quiet from 9pm onwards!
The space smelled very nice, was clean and spacious, and honestly felt like a home away from home. A formal key drop off box would have been ideal as a back up option, as we had to shoot off earlier than expected so couldn't hand the keys to the Beulah Bistro staff. This is a very minor detail though and we managed to figure it out by getting in touch with the owner.
- Gabbott (9/5): Superb -
- Rachel (9/5): A beautiful, specious apartment that you won’t want to leave! - A beautiful, spacious apartment with absolutely everything you could possibly want. Clean, well presented and the staff were really helpful at check-in. Good communication beforehand, even offering an early check-in, which was very much appreciated. Absolutely nothing! Apart from the fact that I had to leave! The only slight gripe is that I was asked to check-out at 10:30am when booking.com said 11am. Not huge and certainly not worth complaining about but maybe look at the check/out times matching so there is no confusion.
- Jasmine (9/5): Beautiful Stay - Lovely place very spacious, beds and bedding very comfortable. Very relaxing and quite and alot of thought gone into making it a pleasant stay. Thank you! Slight damp smell, but nothing open windows couldnt fix and sofas could do with a clean only where bits have gathered in the buttons. Other than that we had a really lovely stay and I would highly recommend!
- Simon (8/5): Very good - Breakfast at the Bistro downstairs was excellent.
- Kennedy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Demilade (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mervyn (9/5): Brilliant. - Superb apartment, I thought it was tremendous. It wasn't an ideal location for what I wanted to do but I was aware of that when I booked.
- David (10/5): Will definitely return when I'm next in Leeds for a night out - The apartment was exceptional. The decor was great the beds were really comfy and overall it was a very comfortable accommodation. They have a great breakfast menu and the food was great Everything was great
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Neil (9/5): Superb -
- Nivek (10/5): Enjoyable weekend stay, home from home. - Friendly, safe, clean
- Avof (10/5): Great - I've arrived there after having a terrible experience with other apartments, so I was pretty scared of what I could find. I shouldn't worry as it was excellent. Massive and clean (the bathroom was impressive). Near enough to Leeds but with a bit of countryside vibes. Will return if possible! Just small things, such as having blackout curtains on the master bedroom or instructions on how to use the appliances. Nothing else other than that.
- David (10/5): High end stay for budget price. - The apartment was amazing! It felt very high end. Very spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was really good. Definitely stay again. Fantastic for the price. Nothing not to like.
- Daniel (10/5): A brilliant space to relax in the countryside - A flawless renovation of the upstairs of a pub into a brilliant 3 bedroom apartment. Brilliant decor, rooms, kitchen and bathroom all done to an excellent standard. Helpful and attentive staff too! Nothing. A perfect stay for what I needed!
