Guest Reviews
- Sharifi (10/5): -
- Wendy (9/5): - Central location Just get the front fob to work
- Robert (9/5): -
- Peter (9/5): - Apartment was excellent, well presented and equipped. Easy access to everything On street metered parking
- Shane (9/5): -
- Silverlock (10/5): -
- Ross (8/5): Good apart from poor parking - Lovely apartment in good location The parking is not well described in the site. The parking is either on the street in metered parking ( 2 hour maximum) or in a multilevel public car park that closes in the evening. This was not convenient- had to make two trips with luggage and really spoiled an otherwise good experience. We would not have booked if this had been clear on the site. This is a major disadvantage for such a nice apartment.
- Kelly (9/5): -
- Kirsty (7/5): Mostly fantastic, would need the bedding situation fixed to stay again. - Great facilities and space in the apartment. Kitchen and bathroom were clean. Bed lacked a top sheet, only had the comforter to use which was stained and unclean.
- Robert (8/5): Apartment was in a central location - very clean with plenty of facilities - Central to centre of town Lack of car parking was an issue
Had to move the car several times during the day
- heather (9/5): Great place for a mini break in the heart of Bendigo - The apartment is spacious, bright and modern and well set up. The location is perfect being a short walk from the shops, supermarket and cafes and restaurants.
Secure access. Comfortable sofa and bed. Every thing needed was provided.
Earlier complaints from other reviews have been resolved such as there were hooks in the bathroom for towels and there were curtains to block out the bright morning sun.
I would definitely stay here again. There is a lot of traffic and noise outside, being on a roundabout in the centre of town, but it was a nice liveliness during the day. At night, to sleep, the windows had to be closed which blocked out noise really well but heated up the apartment so the air conditioner had to be used.
The WiFi was fine for scrolling the internet on the phone but not strong enough for TV streaming services. Thankfully I bought my own mobile WiFi device to connect to.
A little bit more dishwashing liquid could have been provided.
A lamp in the lounge room would be nice for soft ambient evening light. Ceiling lights are too bright and harsh at night.
- Kym (8/5): The issues above took the gloss off. Next time we'll stay elsewhere in Bendigo. - Good location. Nicely appointed. Clean. Hard to find the door into the building.
Disappointed to discover, on arrival, that the parking was on-street only and in an area of 2H parking during the day. Parking is always something I look for. First time ever I have come across it being almost deceptively portrayed.
Didn't appreciate having to remove the bathroom basin plug and remove hair etc so that the basin drained. Don't think the plug worked anyway.
- jennifer (8/5): Comfortable and convenient - Perfect central location. Apartment had everything we needed. Parking in the area is metered and just a few hours.
- Jenny (8/5): Had a lovely comfortable stay and the breakfast cereal and icecream were a nice treat - Great location Had to go out every 2 hours to pay for parking
- Michael (9/5): -
- Eunice (8/5): Met my purpose - Convenient The bed was too soft
- Cheryl (10/5): Loved my stay here and would stay again. - Great location. A hidden gem.
- Julia (9/5): -
- Penny (10/5): Had a lovely time - Was great The glass door between the bedroom and bathroom
- Rebecca (9/5): -
- Shane (8/5): Lovely, place good location we enjoyed it. Cheers - Location, quality fittings, nice aspect No parking, no compendium , no fox footy.
- Shana (10/5): Great location. - Location was perfect and the apartment comfortable. The access could be better or changed.
- Robin (8/5): It was a Romy, clean apartment in a good location - Clean, central. Very Noisy-le-Grand on Saturday night. Hoon cars on Queen St till 2am
- Mark (10/5): Great place to setup for a stay while exploring what Bendigo has to offer. - Spacious, clean and very comfortable apartment absolutely centrally located in Bendigo CBD.. there was a doonah on the bed but no top sheet.
- Richard (6/5): Well located apartment . Owners tried but missed out on some things...see comments. - Location excellent. Roomy apartment. Appreciated milk and breakfast cereal.
Towels were good quality but no towel rail in the bathroom to hang them on. Building name was not described accurately so had to guess. Getting the key and getting it to slide over the appropriate door lock was trial and error but once mastered it was OK. Interior bedroom. Curtains over the large lounge windows were a problem as they were a cheap version EG: curtain rod fell down, curtains did not meet well resulting in morning light entering the room.
- Mark (9/5): Great - Location and size of the apartment and style with a bit history brick work The bed and pillows
- Nick Harris (10/5): A superb, long weekend break with my wife in an ideal location with first class accommodation! - Excellent! If I’m being really fussy, it would’ve been great to hang out our towels on a hook or rail or something. That’s all.
- Grahame (10/5): - Very pleased with the apartment everything was excellent. The location is great, right in town,no traffic noise, great kitchen and facilities, comfortable bed añd lounge.Dishwaher and washing machine were really good.Every detail was covered will definitely tell friends who may be visiting Bendigo
It was good value far better than a motel room . The chocolate biscuits and the coffee machine were a great touch
Thanks a really great stay. It would be very hard to pick a fault. .To be really picky a longer towel rail in the bathroom and a couple of egg rings in the kitchen would be nice.
But that is really minor.
- Imogen (10/5): A home away from home. Highly recommend. -
- Jo (9/5): Great location to explore the city; great hosts - a wonderful few days away. - Location; the little extras: cereals, chips, Tim tams, milk, cold water, sparkling wine; hair dryer & straightener, yoga mat; games; comfy bed and linen; Only restricted parking - further information re restrictions would have been helpful up front; no towel rails; laundry facilities and airing rack but no detergent or pegs.
- Lyn (9/5): -
- Susan (9/5): A very comfortable apartment close to everything Bendigo has to offer. - Walking distance to everything. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The wine and other extras was a lovely touch. Thank you
- Mark (9/5): Great place to stay for a short or long period - Very spacious, clean and comfortable No issues
- Deborah (8/5): - Our request to arrive one and a half hours earlier than check-in time would be granted if we paid an extra $50. We have stayed at many local and overseas hotels (5 star hotels included) and we have never been asked for an additional $50 before. Extremely poor form.
- Nila (10/5): - Great Property, Spacious and Clean N/A
- mary (10/5): Definitely on our list to return.. - Exactly as described but even better because of the care taken to provide all the extras we could have wanted..and treats we were delighted to find left for us ..quality coffee and even chocolate biscuits! No designated parking…but creative thinking made it work
- Obtarr Ross (9/5): -
- Smith (9/5): perfecto for us! - ..ticked all our boxes, we had a great time ..not a 'deal breaker' but the parking was 'tricky'
- Carter (8/5): Great central location, clean presentable apartment. - Location was super central, and checking in was easy (after we recieved the details). Was a great space to stay very inviting and plenty of space. Messages from hosts were a bit lengthy, as for travellers you're just trying to get the main details to check in etc. Would have also appreciated details on how to check in a little earlier.
- Megan (9/5): -
- van Dyk (10/5): - Good spot
And excellent location
Clean and tidy
- Peter (9/5): Easy access to room and hosts were good to deal with. We had a lovely stay. - Great central location and stylish apartment.
Handy to all needs. Parking certainly needs planning. Busy area means you cannot always get a close spot when you need to move the car.
The multi storey park nearby was good for all day and overnight, but we could not find out what it cost to leave the car there overnight. We had to take the chance, but were relieved to find it was no more than the full day rate.
- Beverley (10/5): Fantastic. - The apartment was clean and spacious. It's well located in the CBD and priced very reasonably. The bed was comfortable.
The hosts were very easy to contact and responded quickly to any inquiries. Check-in was smooth and easy. The packet of biscuits on arrival was a small but appreciated gesture.
We weren't worried about having to park on the street out the front, we only had to pay for a couple of hours in the arvo and in the morning.
The walls between the bathroom and bedroom and bedroom and lounge are frosted glass which isn't super ideal for sleeping in etc. without being disturbed but it worked for us. Curtains on the outer windows kept the place dark.
We didn't need the kitchen but it was well equipped with all basics if one needed to cook.
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, modern and everything we needed! Great central location.
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional - Great little apartment in a great location in Bendigo - we really enjoyed our stay here!
- Krstina (10/5): A wonderful spacious apartment with everything you need in a fantastic location. - Superb in all aspects- well appointed, comfortable, clean. Wonderful location- easy walking distance from the railway station and to popular sights and events, cafes and restaurants. Very helpful and pleasant hosts. Highly recommend. Nothing.
- Elly (10/5): Exceptional - Central position
Airy, spacious apartment
Thoughtful and generous in provisions
- Sue (9/5): A very comfortable apartment in a fantastic location in the middle of Bendigo. -
- Haslam (10/5): Clean afordable cmfortable a great place to stay! - Grear location Need to supply milk
- Nino (7/5): Good -
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Alek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeanette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Glenda (7/5): Light filled apartment in great location. - Fantastic location, views, spaciousness. Wish I had have asked prior to booking about parking. It all worked out and great communication from the owners.
- James (10/5): Would certainly stay there again. - Well appointed, very spacious, comfortable bed and brilliant location in the heart of Bendigo.
- Erika (8/5): Convenient short stay in great location - Excellent location and security Bed not terribly comfortable. Would suggest adding a second hook on bathroom wall to enable hanging a second bath towel. Didn't realise there was no car parking provided.
- David (8/5): Very nice apartment - well located - car parking was a bit of an issue. - Very good location - we went out for breakfast. There was some confusion about getting in to the property - but that got sorted.
- Max (8/5): Best location in Bendigo - Great location Wifi was available for only a limited number of devices (2)
- Giovanni (8/5): Very good -
- Rachel (6/5): It was a really lovely place to stay - only a few little creature comforts missing. - Loved the Kitchen, bathroom, the space and security I travelled with my mum - forgot I needed a blanket for the fold-out bed as there were no other blankets. Sofa bed was OK for a couple of nights.
Random, however, an ice-cube tray would be good in the freezer. The other thing was the parking - we were lucky to park on the street with no fines.
- Michaela (7/5): Good -
- Kathryn (9/5): Superb - It was so spacious! Lots of lovely sunshine. Great kitchen and bathroom Having to continually top up the parking meter was a bit of a pain , but not the end of the world!
- Maree (8/5): We will be back! 😃 - Spacious apartment and well appointed l. Great location. No on-site car parking.
- Kristie (2/5): Disappointed. A complete waste of money - There are not “3 beds” in this apartment. There is one bed, it was rock hard. There is a sofa which pulls out to a bed, you can feel every single spring. There was a dirty and used bottom sheet on the sofa and I had to ask where the doona was stored. The “3rd bed” is a cot.
One of the windows was broken so there was little airflow.
The floors were dirty and there was other peoples open, leftover food around the apartment.
- Murray (10/5): Highly recommend this property. Great amenities, lovely place. - This property is very clean, modern and beautiful. The ppty includes everything you could need including a fully stocked kitchen and laundry facilities.
The apartment is spacious for one bedroom and very adequate for 2 pple.
The hosts have been very thoughtful and provided everything you could need.
I was really impressed by the property.
VG value for money.
Great location, easy walk to cafes, restaurants and shops. The only drawback was non allocated car parking. We had to park in the street in timed, paid, parking bays. Parking near residence only 2hr limit ( during the day). We managed to work around it, but we had to plan our day/ activities around the car parking time limits. Parking is paid by the hr, but cheap.
- Lesley (9/5): Excellent stay, apartment is in the City and close to a lot of major attractions and shopping. - The apartment is very, very spacious, modern, clean and well kept. I left behind a belonging and I communicated with the owners and they located the item and arranged for me to pick it up. They went above and beyond and I really appreciated that.
- Stephen (9/5): Excellent accommodation in central Bendigo. - Excellent central location. The layout of the apartment provided lots of space and separate rooms. Ample appliances were supplied. So much better than a hotel room! The room was very clean and quiet. We stayed for three nights but could easily stay longer with options to eat in, wash and dry clothes. There was some miscommunication in collecting the keys. Instructions were to be emailed / texted before we arrived but were not received. Had to ring hosts a couple of times to get instructions. I had emailed for instructions the day before and was informed they would be sent by lunchtime on day of arrival. This did not happen. This was the only slight hiccup in an otherwise excellent experience.
- Denise (8/5): Very good - Great location, very well equipped.
- Brent (10/5): Great place to stay in Bendigo. One of the best apartments I've stayed in. -
- Antony (10/5): Pleasant overnight stay, very comfortable accommodation - Very nice accommodation close to downtown and restaurants and cafes
- Angela (9/5): Spacious apartment in the city centre - Home away from home.
It even had a yoga mat, workout equipment and a hair straightener!
All things I don’t carry with me but love to have when I’m on a work trip. Worried I would lock myself out and not know who to call for help.
- Maritay23 (10/5): Centrally located in Bendigo - Very spacious and well appointed
- Merran (9/5): Superb -
- Elvira (8/5): stay at central apartment - very nice in all ways well presented and prepared spacious apartment very central good security everything worked all basic supplies provided modern well kept clean one curtain fell down but was ok nothing else
- Shaun (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (8/5): Very good - Great location Not easy to find parking in the area. Easy after about 5pm.
- Rosemary (8/5): Very good -
- Janet (10/5): Exceptional - Brilliant location, lovely apartment. Parking a bit tricky for long term.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Location and clean/modern The Google camera on the front door with ‘live filming’ entering/exiting very felt creepy. Loved the place but won’t go back because of the camera. Sorry.
- Robert (9/5): Superb - Highly recommended - we would definitely stay there again. Courtney and Tylar were great to deal with. The apartment has a fantastic location, very central to Bendigo city, and it was nice and roomy and very clean and tidy.. The apartment doesnt have a secure off street parking spot, however there is a secure (and cheap) multi-story Bendigo council carpark only a short walk away, so that was not a great inconvenience.
- Emina (10/5): Absolutely fantastic place and location -
- Fiona (7/5): Good - Great location
Comfortable bed
Good shower Doona way to hot
No window furnishings so bedroom was very light all night from street lighting and allowed hot sun shine in
Kitchen bowls were way too big or way too small
- Bryan (6/5): Memorable for the wrong reason. Apartment was great but the experience felt unsafe. - Very well set up with high level of cleanliness. Entry to the apartment was difficult. A homeless woman was sleeping in the entrance to the building and I had to waken her to move her away from the letterboxes where I had to access the apartment keys. I was ok with this but could imagine it would be concerning at night for some patrons. This is apparently a known issue.
- Martin (8/5): Good Apartment Top Location - An excellent large apartment in a great location. No car parking, only a drop off/pick up 10 minute spot out front. Inside were just a couple of niggles - no window coverings to stop morning light; only a single wine glass.
- Raymond (10/5): Exceptional -
- Unwin (10/5): The perfect spot! - The size of the property was perfect for my teenage daughter and I. So many great eating options within walking distance. Comfortable couch, and everything we could need in the kitchen. The bubbles and mint slices were a lovely surprise on arrival! Beautiful near new interior, including the lobby with safe and secure entry. Parking right out front on street was only $2.20 per hour M-F business hours. The air conditioning worked perfectly. Everything we could have needed and wanted from our stay in pretty Bendigo
- Conor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sonal (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. Very clean. Great accommodative team
- Fiona (9/5): Superb - Very neat and centrally located apartment.
Easy to access Would have been great to have secure parking but it's not available.
I was able to park our car under the apartment window. Streets were quiet and seemed to be safe at night
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Frances (9/5): Enjoyable getaway in the heart of Bendigo. - Location and warmth, and character of the building. That washing powder used on the sheets had a strong fragrance. That there was no tea towel.
- John (8/5): Apartment was well appointed and comfortable. We were not made aware there was no car parking. -
- Michael (7/5): Good - Location, space and amenity. The key box is tricky to operate, worse in poor light. Odour of a previous occupant who was a smoker.
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional - Loved everything! The loft vibe of the apartment, the spacious bathroom, great kitchen, lovely little living area with dining too! Location was excellent...close to all the things you may need whilst travelling (chemist, newsagents etc). Will definitely be staying here again when we visit Bendigo next time! 🤞 Nothing!
- Jackie (8/5): Living area great, bedroom not so much - The living space was very comfortable The mattress was very soft and pillows very hard, subjective. There were no curtains or blinds and the sun was blinding in the morning. The partition between the living area and bedroom is glass so forget a holiday lie in!
- Nella (9/5): Great apartment would definitely book again. - The apartment was lovely and spacious great location close to shops, cafes, restaurants. Communication with parking would have been appreciated. On street meter parking only 2 hours I would have liked to know if there was any other parking alternative.
