- Jessica (10/5): Beautiful location and property. Perfect for a little rest and relaxation - I loved the whole property. It was really cosy, beautiful location and it was perfect for some down time. The riverside location made it so peaceful and there was a lot of wildlife around too. Would highly recommend and I would definitely like to stay again in the future. N/A
- Ilona (6/5): Nice trip overall, but would have appreciated a 1 night refund for the cleanliness and mouse situation. Otherwise I woul - The location and amenities were good. It had everything we needed in the kitchen for a family of 4, nice outdoor space and generally a nice and cosy apartment and spacious. The moment we opened the door we saw a mouse running in the kitchen. We later saw it again around the house which was slightly worrying since we had 2 young infants with us, who play on the ground, and mouse droppings can be toxic (we even saw some around the house). Further, the house was quite dusty and dirty in corners with cobwebs, dust, mouse droppings and dead insects. This could be better maintained and cleaned since we are paying a lot per night. Also, a loose shelf came off and fell into one of my child’s cots which was incredibly dangerous.
- Helen (10/5): We had a lovely stay - sadly only one night. It was quite expensive but assume that’s dueto location, otherwise we would - The property was beautiful and in a perfect location. It was hot because of the weather, but fans were provided. We loved it all!
- Samantha (8/5): Clean and modern - Clean, other than the en suite shower
- Michaela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (7/5): Great position. - Great location Needed air conditioning
Would have expected a welcome pack ( milk etc) for £675 per day.
- Ira (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, quiet
- Zoe (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed for a long weekend as a pre-Easter getaway, I looked at quite a few places before choosing the Waterfront Lodge, I booked based on its reviews. I’m so glad I did! It was a lovely, clean, peaceful and had great homely feel.
We spent one day at Legoland, which was just 6 minutes away, perfect for my 5-year-old daughter and another day in Windsor, only about 7 or 8 minutes away! We absolutely loved the lodge, and the marina restaurant was lovely, too; their cocktails were fantastic.
All in all, it was a great find, and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you! 5*
- Allan (10/5): a really exceptional stay - The property far exceeded expectations. it was fantastic, we went for the races and it was next door to the race track. the property was definitely 5 star, couldnt fault anything and it was so comfortable. it had everything you could want and more. would most definitely recommend this property and wouldnt hesitate to stay there again if we are ever in the area again. The key box was so easy to gain access to the property and when leaving just as easy to leave the key in the box.. it was lovely and quiet with views of the racecourse and the river through the 2 very large patio doors. the large decking area was superb, with loads of outdoor furniture, but unable to use because of the weather, would be beautiful to just sit out and enjoy the scenery had it been better weather. nothing it was all 5 star
- Ashish (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): A lovely river Thames lodge holiday - Excellent location lovely and quiet and lodge was super
Good communication for access etc Nothing
- Keith (9/5): Good location close to Windsor town -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deborah (10/5): It was absolutely perfect for our mini break to see family member off from Heathrow ! - It suited our needs perfectly! and the restaurant at the end of the road was very good. It was a bit cold to sit out
but there was furniture there to do so. A mirror or dressing table in the twin room would have been useful (rather than the large wardrobe). And a hot tub outside, like some of the other lodges had would be perfect.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - The lodge was very clean and spacious and only a short drive to Windsor Castle. Being situated in the marina on the corner of a small inlet there was lots of wildlife .which we loved . Nothing all excellent.
- Helena (10/5): It was perfect. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. - We loved how clean and bright the property was. Nothing
- Dean (8/5): Happy smiling faces - Amazing lodge Excellent location
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (7/5): We enjoyed our stay and the home was spotless. Very convenient for Windsor (you need a car) and close to water and rac - This was a beautiful location and very relaxing. Boats went past the deck occasionally, you could just see the racecourse and there was some wildlife. The property was immaculate. The finishes were lovely. The bedding was super luxurious. It definitely felt like a permanent style caravan/mobile home, but every effort had been made to make it feel upmarket. The kitchen had so much stuff, there was nowhere for groceries. There was a TV in the secondary bedroom, but not in the master. There was no mirror in the master (to see drying hair). There was no shade on the patio. The bath was too small to actually take a bath in. The showers went cold suddenly and were very narrow, plus difficult to operate. The online link to instructions did not work. There was only one parking spot. The second bedroom had no closet space, because it was used for outdoor seating cushions.
- Adriana (8/5): it was great but did not get a response until we left - location & open plan one floor some of the decor
