- Rohit (4/5): Bad experience, not going to come back there again - Only location thats it I stayed their for 2 days no one came to clean the rooms. Room have only bed and 2 chairs thats it not money for value. They ask me advance 30% money 1 day before arrival otherwise they can cancel it. It was their trick so that i can’t cancel the room after seeing it
- Sah (5/5): - Location Comfort
- Arun (8/5): -

- Agrawal (9/5): - Staff behaviour was excellent Not very luxurious, but good value for money

- Edra (10/5): - The accommodation offers excellent facilities, and Aman, Sarojni, and Deepak were exceptionally kind and attentive throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the location couldn’t be better — close to great restaurants and right on the main street. You may hear some noise in the morning because it’s on the main avenue, but it wasn’t a problem for us at all. We had everything we needed for a peaceful and comfortable stay.
- Susan (2/5): Not suitable for a retreat and Cannot recommend for multiple reasons listed. - I gave this property an excellent review one year ago but it is degraded in many ways and I can no longer approve it. Promises of improvement have not been realized. Hot water in bath was good. Staff are sweet but untrained. Terrible Noise from traffic and construction right in front, poor hygiene in room and public spaces, filthy stairs. There is NO KITCHEN to use as it says on the booking, the hotel kitchen is filthy and staffed by untrained cooks. All of the necessary basic improvements promised from last year and when I booked have not been done at all. Dead plants everywhere, many cleaning utensils sit in the dining area and halls in plain sight. Entrance stairs have no banister and are difficult to climb safely. Door latches inside and out of the room are broken and impossible to use. Internet very sketchy and intermittent day and night. There is more to say, but I think this is enough. Overpriced due to the poor condition and deficient services offered.
- MarianneHP (8/5): Nice place to stay - De ansatte er virkelig venlige og hjælpsomme, og vil gøre hvad de kan for at du har et godt ophold.
Dejlige store og behagelige senge (Deluxe room) -/-

- vinit (1/5): - I like the stay that's it. Property owner is not at all good with their customers.instead of profit some times you need to care pf your customer as well.Apart from it everything is good.

- Airton Carlos (6/5): Great location! Staff must to be trained! - Location and the building have lots of potential to be an incredible place but it needs staff more trained and prepared to received international guests. (I stayed a month before and had completely different experience as the manager was Kiran a very kind and well trained manager, but this time unfortunately my experience was completely different). Room and facilities are very dirty, bad communication with the staff as only one person speaks English. They are very nice and kind, but need to be trained.
- Airton Carlos (10/5): I highly recommend! The best Hotel in Rishikesh! - The location and Staff is amazing!
- Shadae T (8/5): - The manager speaks great English, and other staff do not.
There is meditation every morning at 7am and yoga in the morning on weekends. They take international credit cards, which is convenient. The hotel is right on the ganges with good views from the rooftop.
The road in the front is very limited for traffic. Only local taxis and scooters are allowed so nice and peaceful. Lots of western restaurants, booking offices, and shops catering to Western tourists. Rooms are dark with no windows.
We had 3 black hairs on the sheets, and the floor was not swiped properly.
- Soumyadip (10/5): A Perfect Leisure Trip to Rishikesh ✅ - Yes Retreat was a very calm, homely stay very near to Laxman Jhula, for our Rishikesh leisure trip. The staff were courteous, always eager to help us in our needs. This is affordable for long stays as well.
The Vibe full ambience, the peaceful ganga view, cute pet Lucy 🐶 and just above the ghat were added benefits. The local shopping spots and few best restaurants were just 2-3 mins walking distance. Overall we liked the stay very much. Nothing to complain about.
- Allyssa (10/5): Exceptional - The staff here is so accommodating. I had a lot of questions and needed help and they were always quick to respond. Very clean and comfortable bed. It’s on the Main Street next to everything. My only complaint that comes with a convenient location was the noise at all hours of the day. Lots of honking, music, and dogs barking.
- Nitin (4/5): It’s a good option for bag packers on budget. Not for families and for those expecting more comfortable stay. - It’s location near Ganga Ghat. Too many steps, unhygienic bathrooms, poor service, a lot of noise due to honking at night.
- Binod (8/5): Very good -
- Binod (8/5): Excellent Location - Great location near the Ganga. Convenient daily groceries and delicious hot food. Friendly and helpful staff. Kiran is fantastic. Satvik dinner is tasty and reasonably priced—highly recommend! My suggestion is to add more varieties on food.
- Kumar (8/5): Very good -
- Tomala (9/5): Superb - The location of the place is just perfect, right next to the Ganga and the main road. Very close to the boat stand as well. I have stayed in Tapovan before, and I have to say I enjoyed Laxman jhoola much better. It's quieter with more nature, beautiful temples. If you stay here, I recon early morning walk so you can see the morning prayers and a swim in Ganga.
Kieran who is managing this place is such a nice person. He helped me a lot with organising a taxi, and always made sure I had everything I needed.
The room was small, but very comfortable, and the WiFi connection was really good, which was important to me as I work and travel. Also it was surprisingly quiet at night. It can be a little loud during the day, as it's on the main street, but during the night the area is getting much quieter
- Samarth (8/5): Very good -
- Brijesh (9/5): Superb -
- Renate (7/5): Good - Bed was very comfortable Constant street noise
- Singh (10/5): Exceptional - Clening and staff was very helpful and nice every person, so good 😊

- Shani (10/5): thank you yes retreat ! - I had an amazing stay at Yes Retreat in Rishikesh! I stayed for four nights, and the experience was wonderful. The staff was extra, extra, extra kind—some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They even let me use the kitchen, which was such a kind gesture. A special thanks to Alok and Swatti, who made my stay even better with their kindness and hospitality.
The yoga studio was awesome, a perfect place to practice and relax. My room was a bit small, but it was nice and comfortable. Overall, this place has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Rishikesh! rooms are a bit small
- Ciobanu (6/5): Pleasant - The location was great and from the rooftop you can see the Gange. You can also walk 2 mins and be by the Gange shore. Nice cafes and restaurants and shops close by. Staff was also very friendly I stayed over the weekend and the street noise was off the charts. For 2 nights in a row drunken people would talk very loud at the bar just across the street passed 3 am in the morning. It felt like they were talking in my room. Add a gang of barking dogs that would bark loudly every 3 minutes and you've got a perfect recipe for staying up all night. Good luck waking up for the morning Yoga.
- Manoj (10/5): Excellent - Location is excellent. Staff and girl at reception superb. Extremely helpful and courteous. Room was neat and clean. Location is on the main road laxam jhula bazar. Check out time is relaxed if availability of bed. Some times free breakfast included excellent breakfast. Good for girls as separate female dormitory. Everything good.
- Alban (9/5): Yoga classes on the rooftop! - Well located guesthouse with a terrace and yoga classes.
Clean spacious rooms, most with window on the outside, some on open corridor. Good firm beds.
All issues we had were solved by the receptionist, thank you so much Swati!, and yoga classes were good and adapted to our level, again, thank you Swati! We had issues with the bookings: we booked three rooms and got written and oral confirmation from the manager. He booked only one room.
Manager does not seem to know what he is doing but receptionist saves the day.
Not enough aeration in the bathrooms.
The main street of Laxman Jhula got pretty noisy, you might need earplugs.
- Dominic (5/5): Good value for money but not amazing. - The price was very fair and the location was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and very kind. We trusted them and felt safe. The staff tried to help immediately when we had issues with the hot water which was great. There was free water and laundry was available downstairs with brand new washing machines. The room was very smelly, but only on some of the days/nights -- gross poo smell that would wake us up at night. The kitchen sewer is the problem. Also the boiler broke on three occasions and once I got electrocuted when touching it to change the water temperature. The room wasn't very clean. The bathroom walls are mouldy, the space around the bed is full of dust and hair and there are cigarette buds from previous guests under the furniture. Cleaning is only superficial unfortunately, even after we asked for room cleaning.
- Thomas (4/5): - It's a verry laud place. The beds are good but the bathroom is definitely not something I would choose again. The roomwalls are like in a camper, so you hear every word of your neighbors.
- Sarah (8/5): great place if you don't mind the noise - bed was super comfortable, Alok who was on the front desk and also the chef was brilliant, he went to so much trouble to make sure it was a good stay and the breakfasts he cooked were delicious Because it was on the main street I found it too noisy
- Paras (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dhiraj (10/5): Amazing Stay - The place is right by Ganga and the adventure hub is all around it as well. Thali was really tasty.
- Rakesh (1/5): Bad - Hotel cancelled The booking Hotel cancelled booking
- Jesica (8/5): Very good -
- Kseniya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karnati (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nitesh (8/5): Very good -
- Sagar (9/5): Superb -
- Keshav (8/5): Very good -
- Manoj (10/5): Exceptional - One of the best hostels I have stayed in. Staff and owner excellent. Room was neat and clean dorm beds excellent with excellent bed mattress, bedsheets and blankets very clean. Dormitory is ganga river facing on one side and market on one side. At present tje laxam jhoola under repair so route is ram jhoola. From ram jhoola you can get scooty for 100 rs to the yes retreat. Landmark is dharamraj mandir and sub post office laxam jhoola. It's also 50 metres from laxam jhoola police station. They have rooftop restaurant too. Every thing was excellent
- Susan (9/5): Well-located small hotel, good amenities, on Lakshman Jhula Road - My room was new with all new linens and towels, a water boiler, and a squeegee for cleaning bathroom water. Comfy bed and pillows, a small place to hang and store clothes and bag, and a little table for making tea and storing a few items. Some hooks in the bathroom and by the door are a plus. Place to store toiletries in bathroom is great. The location is on the main road on the farside of the river which is great but noisy. The staff and owner are helpful and understanding. A simple breakfast was included in their terrace restaurant. The hotel is very new and I expect even more improvements in the future. There is construction next door that keeps the entrance and stairs very dirty. No handrails on the narrow steep difficult stairs to enter. Owner says he will install these. Door swells with heat making it hard to open and close. Improvement was promised.
- Bharat (10/5): Exceptional - Room was very clean and enough Pillows and Blankets. It felt like home, my room got a slight view of Ganga.
Owner and Staff were very generous, always asks for water or any other facilities....price was also reasonable...
- Flaus (8/5): Very good - Location, bed was comfortable and clean bedding. Room was small but reasonable for price. Great view of river from back sitting area
- Ankur (10/5): Affordable and beautiful stay in rishikesh - Rooms were well maintained, highly clean and staff was very polite and helpful. Definitely recommended.
- Amod (10/5): Best food and super friendly staff - Impressive service and good ambience with a fabulous location ( on the banks of Ganges )
Run by Very kind folks i.e Ashu, Jitendra and others.
As a vegetarian I really enjoyed food they serve that is out of the world ( Satvik Bhojanam) gives a touch of Kashi vibes. Had an amazing time and felt like I am at home.
Keep up the good work guys 👍 👍
