Guest Reviews
- Samantha (9/5): Fabulous and beautiful pet-friendly stay - Thank you so much for providing such a clean, warm and well-appointed cabin. It was truly beautiful and means a lot that our little shih tzus could also attend :). Picturesque location as well. I struggled with the sofa bed in the lounge as I could feel the join through the middle of it, so I couldn't sleep too well. Perhaps a topper would help for this?
My mum was also struggling with her bed- it was a little too soft for her. My dad had no issues. We felt kind of like the three bears- 1 too soft, 1 too hard and 1 just right! But still, thank you overall.
- Andy (10/5): -
- Mark (8/5): I was up for work and had a nice spacious cabin - Liked to wake up to the birds aiming No much within walking distance like shops or restaurants
- Marcus (9/5): Great workspace with indoor and outdoor options - Lovely secluded spot with easy access to main routes. Great wi-fi and well-equipped kitchen. Nothing it was all good.
- Waters (8/5): - Perfect for a night out during a work course. It was great to have a kitchen so I could cook a normal dinner rather than eating out.
Being able to let myself in and out without having to see anyone. The noise of the heating. Had to turn it off so I could sleep. This wasn't a problem for me, but I could see this being a problem in the colder months
- Carl (9/5): - Lovely little cottage, liked the decor and had everything on hand that was needed.
- Kasia (10/5): - Naprawdę świetne miejsce i super domek. Uwielbiamy takie klimaty. Na pewno jeszcze nie raz skorzystamy gdy przyjedziemy do Anglii. Dziękujemy za wszystko.
- Michael (10/5): -
- Gareth (10/5): - It was very homely and cosy, clean, and had everything i needed. Convenient location too, NA

- Quayum (10/5): Perfect little getaway - Exactly as described. Perfect stay, very thoughtfully decorated. Wood burner was great.
- Rebecca (10/5): Lovely stay in exceptional accommodation - Beautiful accommodation Nothing
- Raymond (10/5): Short stay to visit some family so it was a lovely nights stay - Really cozy and comfy with everything you need
- Serena-Bliss (9/5): -

- Lesley (10/5): Perfect little escape - Perfect little escape, beautiful, spacious property with all little touches well thought out for a perfect stay, bed was super comfortable too! Nothing
- Nicola (7/5): -
- Dorothee (8/5): - Mit Liebe eingerichtetes Tinyhaus. Ideal, wenn man mit Hund reist. Liegt relativ Nahe an der Autobahn, sodass man den Verkehr hört. Nicht wirklich störend, es sei denn man ist lärmempfindlich
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Lauren (9/5): Beautiful cabin - Property was even better then I thought it would be, lovely surroundings for people that like nature and animals. Really nice touches with the washing machine and they provide the tablets. Bottles of water and there is even a book corner which they allow you to take a book home I really thought that was a good touch even though I forgot to take one. Little garden area with a fire pit and bench. Would definitely stay again if was going to that area
- Fiona (7/5): Good - Spacious and pretty well equipped. For me the traffic noise was a big issue as very near a very busy road A1, my friend who sleeps through anything was OK with it.
- Suominen (10/5): A charming little luxury escape! - Loved the location, so peaceful, a wonderful escape!
Particularly loved the early morning visitors ....a couple of deer came to enjoy feeding on the grass outside the cabin. Watching them each morning whilst sipping on the delicious coffee (eco friendly) that is provided was delightful.
Delicious farm eggs were also provided.
The cabin has everything you need for a relaxing stay, yet close to the A1, supermarket, pubs and the nearby lakes.
The wood burner was lovely to sit and relax around (bring your own logs and kindling)
It's an open plan set up and this did not bother us as we are all close friends.
Shower had great pressure and the toilet was absolutely fine...a little like an airplane toilet and certainly not loud or too noisy.
The owners do a fantastic job... really helpful communication before our trip and the cabin was spotless.
Plenty of space for parking.
We will be back! We loved it so much 😊
- Yeomans (8/5): Very good - Lovely cottage and beautiful surroundings. Inside was perfect for us as a family. It had everything we needed. I loved the extra little touches.
- Johnson (10/5): Short stay but wished stayed longer - Good communication at all times . could not fault anything there was everything you need for a lovely stay .And my husband really enjoyed the free range chicken eggs .will definitely go back and would recommend Nothing
- Kayleigh (10/5): Exceptional - It honestly was amazing Nothing
- Spiridon (8/5): Very good -
- Mr.jones_s (10/5): absolutely perfect thankyou, - absolutely perfect thankyou,
- Louise (9/5): Great little cabin which has everything you need! - The property is a spacious cabin with everything you would need, easily warms up and very comfy beds. Would have been nice to be able to create partition in the cabin, via baby gates or dog gates would make it easier to keep dogs away from white beds without having to crate them.
- Beverley (10/5): Exceptional - It was beautiful. Home from home and very cosy Nothing to dislike
- Ιωάννης (10/5): Excellent stay! - I really enjoyed my stay at the cabin. It has such a cosy warm vibe that it makes you feel right at home. Also it was really clean and had all the necessary amenities and then some! Congratulations to the owners for an excellent service. Wish I could stay more!
- David (8/5): A very pleasant stay - Loved the free range eggs. A pleasant breakfast surprise!
the firepit made it possible to sit outside long into the evening.
The beds were very comfy.
the lights that lit the path to the cabin made it feel magical.
- Darren (10/5): amazing place - the cottage was amazing ,well done
- Rachel (10/5): The cabin was amazing. Everything you need is there
The surroundings are so peaceful and beautiful. -
- Yanina (4/5): Disappointing - Very run down outside. The advertised lake was a muddy pond. BBQ area so neglected as to be unuseable. The heating was like a car door slamming as it cut in and off through the night. The mascerator toilet was smelly
- Helen (9/5): Lovely cabin, well equipped and very welcoming - It was nicely furnished with lots of amenities and thoughtful bits. So much in a small space but very comfortable for our group and perfect for what we needed. The setting was lovely too.
- Jeannie (10/5): Wonderful - Everything. Location is in nature. Cottage has everything you need. Food was able to be delivered. Everything in the cottage is clearly marked and labeled, and I love it. Plenty of space for kids to run and play. Everything is great
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kirsty (9/5): Fabulous, peaceful cabin - The cabin was in excellent condition and the facilities were exactly what we needed. Check in was easy and the hosts were friendly.
- Sarah (10/5): Great stay at the cabin - The cabin is great, comfortable, large and has everything you need. It's very well located and we visited Cambridge, Bedford, St Ives, Milton Keynes and nearby St Neots. Enjoyed watching the birds of prey, foxes and other wildlife in the neighbouring fields. Locally we visited some of the recommended places for food and drink. It was nice to return to the peaceful cabin and relax.
- James (10/5): Exceptional - I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived the pictures don't do it justice. They've made great use of the space and there was everything you could need for a stay away from home. Extremely comfortable and very clean. Would definitely stay again if needed.
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (10/5): Beautiful, charming and everything you need x x - The property was perfect had everything we could have needed. It was spotless and very well kept. The bed was so comfy and sheets were lovely. Our visit was for a family wedding in St Neots and the location was perfect for us definitely better than staying in a hotel. Was lovely to wake up to a baby cow staring at me and two lovely baby deer walking round the cottage. Nothing, it is perfect.
- Ben (8/5): Lovely cabin with everything we needed. -
- Leisa (10/5): Beautiful location, excellent accommodation with everything you need to be comfortable. - The location was perfect for our needs . The cabin certainly exceeded my expectations, I would definitely book again if I’m going that way . It was beautiful, clean , comfortable. It had everything you need and more . I could happily live in there permanently it was so nice .
- Keane (9/5): Superb - What a lovely little gem. Everything had been thought of and we had a lovely few days. Appreciated the eggs left for us.
Due to location near A1 there is some road noise but not enough to keep us awake at night. Nothing to dislike.
- Liliya (10/5): Great for family or a couple to gateway from busy city life - We had a fantastic weekend family of 5 kids and adults truly enjoyed the cabin , very comfortable beds, all you need in the kitchen and fire outside made our stay so special
Hosts were very helpful and we adored the design of the cabin
Will be back soon
- Selina (10/5): Very relaxing weekend with friends! - It was cozy, had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was very cold in the night but plenty of heaters to warm the chalet up. The shower was small and very creaky when you move around in it but otherwise fab place.
- Fiona (9/5): Superb - It was a quiet location, clean and well laid out. Everything you could need.
Do need a car but not a problem for us.
Nice touches like board games and books Nothing. Loved my stay.
Didn’t see the hosts but could have contacted them if needed
- Sean (9/5): Superb -
- Clive (9/5): Superb - Overall the accommodation was excellent with everything you need provided to a high standard inside the lodge. My wife and I would not hesitate to recommend the lodge and would be more than happy to stay again in the future. All was fine.
- Netta (10/5): Lovely place for an overnight stop - Convenient location off A1, well equipped, enough space for family of 5. Lovely grounds with ample space for kids to play. The cabin is decorated nicely, warm, and beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again on a long journey as a stop off. Only negative is that the kids play equipment was in need of some maintenance and a good clean!
- Charlie (10/5): Beautiful place - Beautiful setting, private, well set out entrance which avoids any awkwardness that you get sometimes when on someone else's property! Wasn't bothered by the owners but felt they would help if needed. Cabin was spotless and really nicely laid out and decorated Maybe consider including a small welcome pack, for example some milk and bread so you can have a cuppa after travelling. Ended up ordering from a nearby co-op so wasn't the end of the world.
Also, the heating bangs in the night! Scared me to death haha
- Ratanang (10/5): Very homely, well maintained, welcoming & have plenty options to make one comfortable. - The property was lovely & homely. Thermostat controlled heaters & additional heaters to top it. Lovely play area & equipments for kids and family space.
Can also be ideal for a couple’s romantic getaway.
Property was easy to find, and well maintained & clean. Hosts were very welcoming
- Lisa (10/5): Beautiful Accommodation - We absolutely love this secret little gem! The attention to deal was exceptional, t had everything we needed and more It’s very well maintained, beautifully warm and cosy and the decor is gorgeous. The accommodation was lovely and clean, tidy and so very welcoming.
The owners have really thought this through and have created something really special. The garden is gorgeous too, such a cute walk to the let.
I would definitely recommend it highly. Nothing
- Carol (9/5): This was easy to find because directions were EXCELLENT. - I loved the luxury of it all- beautiful and comfortable. very relaxing i live in a very small town and the noise form the road was disturbing.
- Sheryl (10/5): Lovely stay would definitely recommend - The property had everything we needed and was so cosy x Nothing
- Ellie (8/5): Lovely - The cabin is super cute, warm, clean, and pretty well equipped. There's plenty of room and it's beautifully decorated. I loved the fluffy curtains between the bedroom and lounge areas. There were fresh eggs from the onsite chickens as well, which was a fabulous extra touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our poached eggs in the morning. It's a shame we weren't able to stay longer than one night. Great location as we were visiting friends in St Neots. It's highly likely we'll be back in the future It was a little hot over night but I'll admit we didn't look at how to turn down the heating. The bed is very slightly lower at the headboard end, but still very comfortable. There is a fair amount of noise from the A1, but this is to be expected given the proximity to it.
- Sasha (8/5): A great evening - Bey spacious beds very comfy Nothing
- Hazel (9/5): Lovely stay - The cabin was lovely well equipped , lovely touches and plenty of towels , blankets etc Quite close to motorway, so traffic noise, but does die down at night
- Bray (10/5): Ladies Getaway - Ease of access - location easy to find, hidden gem, private.
Welcoming, Cosy & Home from Home.
All you would need, could want & way more than expected.
Great value for money worth every penny, 3 of us for 1 night stay.
Self check in service - perfect for a short escape away, hosts didn't disturb us but readily available, kept us updated from point of booking to the moment we left, made us feel welcome & entire break 💯 stress free.
Layout of the property accommodating 3 of us, great space, beautifully decorated, extra mile on little touches, welcoming card, chocolates & flowers, Thankyou!
Games, books, TV WiFi connection all accessible.
We didn't use the shower but we were impressed on how that space was used & that the hosts considered the privacy element, would of been fine if your booking is for a group.
Everything from the lights, sockets, plugs situated perfectly throughout, the space inside and out of the property, the bed linen, comfy beds, stunning kitchen with all kitchenware, tea coffee condiments you could need.
We couldn't of asked for more for a 1 night recharge, rest & relaxation - PERFECT. ----
- Chelsea (10/5): Exceptional - beautiful clean and bigger than looks im the pics nothing it was perfect
- Samantha (7/5): Value for money over all nice place to stay - Decor, cleanliness and facilities in the cabin The noise from the toilet when you flush really loud not ideal when you use toilet through the night, no option to turn heating down, 2 heaters in the living area where my daughters slept on really high so they could not sleep was too late in the night to contact the owner to ask them to turn down, check out too early, if you want to make breakfast before you leave you would have to get up really early not ideal when you only stay for the night. 11 or 12pm would of been much better check out time especially when the check in time is not until 3pm, although we do thank the owners for letting us check in early to drop are luggage off
- Gavin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marija (10/5): Exceptional - Love it
The hut was amazingly made inside so homy ❤️
Thank you for providing such a beautiful space to stay 😚
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place and just off the A1
The cabin was cosy and very comfortable.
We will definitely come back 😀 That we couldn't stay longer.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joshua (9/5): Superb - Nice and quiet
- Anita (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely love our stay here!
Visited with our grandsons and they had a great night too.
The wood burner was a great touch. And the cabin was spacious clean and very cosy. I will def return!!
- Vincent (8/5): Very good - Kitchen stuff and decor Road noise, maceration noise... dangerous walk from car park to cabin for my disabled girl.
Low ceiling beams no good for tall people
- Jones (10/5): Wonderfully presented little cabin - Beautiful cozy cottage, wonderfully presented. We arrived in the dark and had to use mobile phones to navigate the field to find the cottage.
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Corrigan (10/5): Romantic Break for a couple and a puppy - Hosts very quick to respond and could not do.enough
Location very private but close to all amenities Nothing!
- Beccawest (10/5): Better than expected peaceful and private - Tucked away with private safe parking the photos don’t do the property justice it’s much nicer than it looks and the bed has a very good mattress and the little details and care that has been put into the decor was above and beyond. I also requested some eggs from them which were nicely placed in an egg box in the kitchen when I arrived. It took a little while to figure out where all the light switches were and what did what but not really an issue.
- Samantha (8/5): Short & sweet but a lovely stay - Comfort of the beds, decor, cleanliness, just the set out of it and the facilties, The noise the toilet makes when you flush the chain as it’s really loud banging noise just not ideal through the night, only other thing was the early check out, between 11-12 would of been perfect. As we was only there for the night and out for most of the day, it would of been nice to get up relax and have time to make breakfast before we left, would of thought 3-4 hours was enough to clean for the next guest at 3pm
- Loreta (10/5): Amazeballs! - Very spacious clean and comfortable cottage. You have all what you need for your stay. Comfy bed. There was nothing what not too like
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melanie (7/5): Comfortable and useful, - I liked the location as we were only stopping on a long journey, wouldn’t be a family stay as it’s just off a very busy a road but great if you just need a place to stay to break a journey The lack of lights from the gate to the property, would be great to have some lighting so you don’t have to use your phone to guide the way, also I feel like it could be made much more boutique if it was just changed slightly, I know people like having lots of stuff but I think if some pictures and things like fake flowers we’re taking down it could really have that country feel
- Myron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wright (10/5): Exceptional - Superbly decorated. Wanted for nothing. Super comfy. Fabulous setting. The freshest eggs ever with chicken 20 ft away. Loved it.
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (8/5): Lovely Cabin could be a bit noisy - It was very clean, cozy and lovely A1 is very close to the cabin. As somebody who sleeps with ear plugs is was just fine.
- Vikki (10/5): Amazing beautiful cosy - The cabin is super cosy and has everything you need for a good night sleep. It was very clean and is decorated so beautifully. The outside space the children loved. Shame that we aren’t staying longer as it’s so nice. You can hear traffic from the busy road. But it’s not overly loud. Still had a perfect night sleeps
- Hong (10/5): Perfect. - Lovely cottage. Nothing.
- Christopher (8/5): Great comfortable cabin - Lovely setting comfortable great for a family. Bed was so comfy warm and as it was hot air conditioning unit which was really useful nice fresh eggs also It was ok but open bathroom area not great if two mum dad son and fiancé
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable, lots of space, and several nice little extras to make my stay perfect
- Gurdeep (8/5): Very good - It was very clean. Cozy nice place to stay far from city. Peaceful. My wife enjoyed the nature and farms. Choose this property if you have your own car, otherwise very poor facilities of buses and cabs in the area.
- Ke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jill (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (10/5): Excellent accommodation and facilities. - Liked the self check in. Wasn't disturbed by the hosts. Excellent facilities in the cabin. Excellent air con despite the hot weather. Couldn't find any details regarding WiFi access. There was a router in the cabin? I could have messaged to enquire but didn't bother as I had 4g and was only staying one night.
- Jade (9/5): A lovely relaxing stay. - Lots of unexpected extras which made the property even nicer than it already is.
- Abdullah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - It was perfect for us. We needed some time away together, and it was a lovely place to stay.
- Juliadiwakar (9/5): comfortable family cabin in a lovely setting, but noisy from motorway traffic nearby - lovely cottage with all amenities we could have wanted. host was lovely and very accommodating. we particularly enjoyed outdoor area with bbq/firepit and having our breakfasts there. eggs from farm hens was a lovely touch. cabin is well equipped and we even got extra coffee pods at our request. very noisy from the motorway that was next to the cottage. main bed was very uncomfortable and creaky. very noisy toilet flushing with macerator going all the time which scared everyone in the cabin. deep water pond is next to the cabin, which meant our kid had to be constantly supervised not to get near water.
- Emma (10/5): perfect stay lovely location and lovely inside so comfortable highly recommend especially with little ones they really e - beautiful location, lovely inside very cosy
- Anonymous (10/5): Ideal for our needs staying the night before my daughter's wedding. It was very comfortable. - Everything was lovely and clean and the cabin had all you needed including eggs for breakfast. The shower in the bedroom. A bit tricky when a group of friends getting ready. Maybe should explain this in the description. A path from the car park to the cottage would be useful. It was raining and our outfits got wet around our ankles walking across grass.
- Kirsty (7/5): Good -
- Michel (10/5): Very good stay, highly recommended - Very clean and comfortable, spacious with everything needed. owner very friendly.
Fresh eggs offered, thanks !
