- Alan (10/5): Great stay and will be back - Great location
Great food
Good beers Was a lovely old pub with good vibes

- Elsie (5/5): -
- Larry (7/5): none - none none

- Kelly (10/5): Dublin 1st time - Ian, downstairs, was lovely. He took care of anything we needed and was very accommodating when we needed to change up our plans on checkout. Thank you. Great place to stay. Fantastic locale. No refrigerator, unfortunately.
- Scott (10/5): Great stay at central location. - The location was great. Rooms were spacious, they refilled our coffee pods👍. We loved just sitting at the window hanging out and watching life on the street Nothing really
- Graceryan1982 (1/5): - The bar food was lovely The room was a disgrace, it was freezing with the cold cracked paint on walls, the curtains were like something out of a abandoned house, I wouldn't let a homeless person stay here

I'm sorry to say we don't have any cribs in the hotel."

- Gloria (9/5): Pleasant and authentic place to stay - Good location to the hop on hop off stop. Easy walk to river and Trinity College. Pub downstairs was very good. Food tasty and a good price. Staff wonderful. Would recommend. All was good. Minor street noise, but quiet once the pub closed
- Matthias (8/5): -
- Riccardo (5/5): - Molto rustica, affianco al trinity college posizione perfetta. Pulizia quasi inesistente.
- Arnold (6/5): - Convenient location. Comfortable beds. Could not control shower temperature. It was too hot. The handle fell off the bathroom door.
- Angel (7/5): - La ubicación La TV no funcionaba, y no disponían de adaptador de enchufe europeo
- Jan (8/5): -
- Jakub (7/5): -
- Patrick (8/5): Great location, nice bright, spacious and clean rooms. - Location is good, close to Pearse street station and a short walk from the city centre. There is a nice selection of restaurants and bars nearby (Samurai sushi was really nice and it right next door) but the downstairs bar is also lovely if you don’t feel like walking anywhere. In terms of value for money, it could have been a lot better but It’s Dublin so prices are high relative to what you get. All part of the reason why more tourists are skipping Ireland altogether, everything feels overpriced.
- Daniel Owen (3/5): -
- Sam (6/5): -

- Arianna (10/5): -
- María Elena (7/5): - La cama Tiene algunas humedades
- Grzegorz (7/5): -
- Thomas (7/5): -
- Jenny (8/5): Overall it was good - It was quite The room was freezing

- Thomas (10/5): -
- Tim (7/5): Clean and good value for money. - Location was good and room was clean No reception area and separate door off street
- Olga (5/5): - Perfect for Events: The location was absolutely ideal for our trip to Dublin. It’s a fantastic base if you are attending an event at the 3Arena, making the commute incredibly easy.
Warm and Welcoming: We really appreciated how well-heated the building was. The warmth extended from the corridors right into our room, which made for a very cosy atmosphere.
Clean and Comfortable: The room was clean. Both the bed linens and towels were fresh and clean. Most importantly, the beds were configured exactly as requested and provided a great night's sleep. Major Maintenance and Noise Issues
Check-in Confusion: Finding the entrance was a struggle. We only found our way after a departing guest told us to collect keys from the nearby pub. This wasn't clearly communicated beforehand and led to an unnecessary delay.
Poor Bathroom Maintenance: The bathroom was in a state of disrepair. The floor tiles were loose and moving underfoot, and the shower was completely missing its shower head. Additionally, there was visible black mould between the wall tiles, which is a significant hygiene concern.
Unbearable Noise Levels: The noise insulation is non-existent. Due to the location, it felt like sleeping on a motorway with constant traffic noise, compounded by shouting and loud pedestrians throughout the night. Naked women paintings on each wall, find it disturbing. While milk pods were provided for the coffee, they were unfortunately past their expiration date.
This property should include a clear noise warning on Booking.com. Given the lack of basic maintenance and the disruptive environment.
- Dren (10/5): Enjoyed Experience - I love how it's in the middle of the city allowing for enjoying not only the room but the location to the fullest. This is my second time staying there and I'd recommend it to anyone. The beds are mighty firm.
- Martina (10/5): - Very happy close to Everything staff lovely
- Paul (1/5): -
- keith (8/5): Decent Hotel. - Nice place with good facilities and good price. All was good. Not as modern as one of the big new hotels but clean and near city centre.
- Maura (8/5): -
- Tatiana (10/5): -
- Kat (7/5): -
(8/5): - From morning until lunch there was no water and no one even offered us any, so we had to go and buy water to drink tea and wash our faces.
- Stephen (9/5): - Staff friendly and helpful. Location, value for money, comfortable and clean. Sunday check out is 10am but The Lombard opens at 11am on Sundays so we couldn't sample the breakfast.
- Maroè (1/5): It was closed but there was no info about it - We booked for 1 night but the place was closed and there was no information about it whatsoever. no one answered mails or phone. Luckily booking cancelled our reservation and got us the money back.
- Anilcan (9/5): -
- José Luis (8/5): - La habitacion era amplia y comoda. Estaba bien ubicado.
- Kara (7/5): We had a great time! - It was a great central location. Tons of nearby restaurants and you can walk anywhere. The bed could have been a little softer. But all in all it was great!
- Frieder (8/5): -
- Wilma (7/5): -
- Shannon (7/5): - Owner was very nice and helpful. The pub is awesome. Great location. Loved the faux fireplace in our room. Added so much charm. You can hear everything outside so it was a bit loud until after 1am.
- Rod (10/5): Great stay in central Dublin - The location was so handy to everything and the room was large and comfortable. Could be better advice on parking options. The suggested car park provided could not be booked in advance because we were collecting a hire car and we couldn’t book because we had no rego. Once we collected the car on arrival we couldn’t get a booking in the car park.
Eventually we were sent to the “Church” car park and it was super handy.
- Mark (7/5): -
- Anja (7/5): Fijne plek voor kort verblijf - Dichtbij Trinity, goede bedden, fijne douche.
Fijn personeel Niet heel schoon
- Joris (8/5): -
- Anna (7/5): -
- Neil (8/5): Al about the location - Great location. Few issues with running water and it is quite noisy as you would expect for staying above a pub. Not cheap but that’s probably more a Dublin thing than specific to this place. All in all it was perfectly fine
- Guillaume (4/5): - Localisation Le bruit
- SUSAN (10/5): We very much enjoyed our stay, very good set up and lovely building. - The location. We were visiting Trinity College, the Lombard was just across the road from where we needed to be. The bar was cosy and had a great atmosphere, the young lady who served us was adorable, very helpful and pleasant. The food was very good, especially the soup. Hotel room was very spacious, old fire place was a lovely feature and the layout was great. It was nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room and enough to last us. There wasn't anything to dislike
- Julio (7/5): - Very nice and clean The windows were not isolated from cold.
- Mark (6/5): -
- Patricia (6/5): -
- Simmons (8/5): - Perfect place and location The room wasn’t warm enough it took days to warm up
- Alessandro (7/5): -
- Marion (9/5): -
- Dana (7/5): -
- Irene (9/5): Lovely stay, nice staff; clean spacious room and good shower. Perfect place downtown. - Convenient in town and spacious Matrassen can use and upgrade
- Des (9/5): - Good location Noisy traffic
- zackary (9/5): -
- Michael (9/5): A very good nights stay above a lively pub, perfect as we were winding down our trip! - The room itself was spacious, with character and charm, and a very nice updated bathroom. Being above the pub was a bonus, it was a lively spot, great for a late meal and drinks. Next time I will try and arrive a little earlier and enjoy the pub more. A bit out of the way from Train Station (though still walkable, with a few sights along the way) and some traffic noise from the street. Nothing that would deter me from going back, though.
- Bruno (8/5): -
- Hill (10/5): -
- colin roberts (9/5): A very enjoyable stay and great location - The staff were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to store our luggage with a late flight. Very clean room The only fault was the room was cold. The weather was just turning colder
- Teresa (9/5): - Great food and lovely spot Room was very cold when we landed
- Olga (8/5): -
- Marek (8/5): -
- David (6/5): Convenient but quite noisy. Unstaffed until 10AM. No breakfast. - Ideally placed for working at TCD. Unsurprisingly its quite noisy sleeping above a popular bar in Dublin. Take earplugs. The bar is not staffed until 10AM so no early breakfast. Plenty of other options nearby.
- Kévin (8/5): - Le grand lit et la douche
- Sarah (10/5): Perfect location & great restaurant! - Love the pub below and the staff was fantastic. My bag was lost and the bar tender held my bag in a safe space until we returned from day activities. Will recommend to friends and hopefully return again. N/A
