• john (10/5): - Outstanding accomodation. We loved the Garden Rooms at Bridge house cottages. Large, airy and comfortable. Well equipped and very tastefully decorated. The garden and view were fantastic and the location superb. We are already looking at dates for the next visit.
• Michelle (9/5): Stunning views - Beautiful apartment, decorated to suit it's surroundings. Everything you need is provided with a very generous welcome pack thank you! Great location with the local town on your doorstep. Amazing views of the river with access to a quaint garden on the bank of the river, would be lovely in the summer. Parking is provided but not on site, but u can park outside the court yard to unload. Only 1 toilet roll provided for 4 people wasn't ideal luckily we took a spare roll.

• Jackie (10/5): Charmingly beautiful accommodations and town. - Lovely accommodations. Cozy rooms, well stocked kitchen. Beautiful backyard (garden) overlooking the bridge. Quick walk (few minutes) to the beautiful town centre. Short walk (20 minutes) to Roman ruins. Easily accessible to accommodations by train.

• Andrew (10/5): Lovely views - Perfect location, the views were amazing, the garden was sheltered and looked over the river. Easily walkable into the town, nice shops, plenty of places to eat/drink. The host was friendly and welcoming. The apartment (The West Wing) was spotlessy clean, tastefully decorated and provided everything you would need. We stayed for a wedding but would love to return to just relax and enjoy. Nothing.

• Dinah (10/5): Lovely cosy apartment. Great views and close to lovely local amenities and eateries - The key box was broken, but the host was aware and was due to replace it within the coming days. However we were locked outside for almost an hour on arrival, as the host was away from the property and his phone was out of range, so there was a period of uncertainty which was quite disconcerting. Host could have been more aware that we would struggle with the key box and made an alternative arrangement. This was a short-lived problem and I'm sure it's all resolved now.
• Rob (6/5): Adequate good size apartment next to a road. Take extra blankets if you're going in winter! - Size of apartment. Both bedrooms are next to a main road with a set of traffic lights that goes through the village. We could hear a steady flow of vehicles from about 7am and often feel the vibrations from lorries in bed. When the set of traffic lights was on red outside the apartment, you could also hear the noisy engine of a waiting bus. Although the heating was on, the apartment (except the gallery kitchen) didn't feel particularly warm due to the age of the property. I messaged the owner to ask if there were additional blankets for the beds and was told no but winter duvets were on the beds. Fortunately, my husband found extra duvets in the divan bed drawers in the main bedroom. We placed these on top of the beds. Thank goodness he found them - we would definitely not have been warm enough without them. On the first day, the shower repeatedly went from hot to freezing. Not ideal when 4 people are trying to get ready for a wedding, The boiler was also making a banging noise! Hadn't time to message the owner re this matter as we had to rush off to the wedding, The following day, water seemed to be ok. Boiler clearly needs checking though.

It was a bit tricky unloading the car with no parking at the property. There’s free car park across the bridge is good, but we weren’t aware of that before arriving.

• VALERIE (8/5): Enjoyable & plenty of character. The history information an added feature. - Convenient location Unloading car & parking in town

Easy walking into Corbridge itself, as well as a short walk to train station to access the wider area. Apartment accessed by steep steps on one side of the house, which was only route in from courtyard when unloading. In daylight found the easier pedestrian access.

• Simon (9/5): A very comfortable cottage in an excellent location. - The cottages are situated in a stunning location overlooking the river and very close to the amenities of Corbridge. the cottages are very well equipped to make these a home from home.
• Julie (7/5): Nice stay in the centre of Corbridge - The location is perfect for all Corbridge has to offer. The beds are nice and comfy. The heating worked really well with easy controls. The on street parking pass was a bonus and saved a fortune on parking fees. There was plenty of information in the cottage about the area and the board games a nice touch. The bedrooms were well equipped with storage and hanging space. The courtyard was beautifully decorated with fairy lights and stunning flowers and the tiered gardens were nice too. The lounge tv wasn’t the best and on the small side. The kitchen a little tired in places and dated. The WiFi was just acceptable but the whole area doesn’t have great signal anyway. Small areas in the property would benefit from some maintenance. There was noise from the busy road outside but it didn’t stop me from sleeping.

• Fenella (9/5): We loved our stay, it was the perfect spot to stay as we attended a wedding close by. - The apartment is in the most beautiful setting and in a great location to walk around Corbridge. The decor is dated.
• Hd (10/5): Great place to stay in Corbridge - Loved this place- very comfy beds, everything we needed for a few nights stay. Great location and friendly hosts. Had platters & drinks in the lower garden overlooking the bridge & river- idyllic. Lovely supplies left in kitchen. Fans in the bedrooms would have been lovely, considering we were there during warm weather.

There was a gorgeous little welcome hamper provided including cereal, chocolate, wine and more treats. Facilities were great for a 2 night stay. It could do with a deep clean.
