Good location for us to visit family No off-street parking but it wasn't really an issue. Took an hour or so to warm up with it's high ceilings but then it was fine & then the high ceilings actually made it feel more spacious

• Mary (10/5): Charming cosy apartment - We loved the apartment! It’s so charming and we immediately felt very at home. The apartment had everything we needed including towels and toiletries. We were able to cook breakfast in the morning. Very well equipped. The host sent us all the self check in information the day prior which was nice and clear. The apartment is situated in between Sunderland and Seaham and there is buses to either making it easy to get about. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. Would absolutely stay again!

• Alison (9/5): The Old Library apartment is so convenient for the Sunderland area and has an unspoiled beach within walking distance. I - It’s cosy, comfortable and tasteful with sumptuous toiletries! Maybe just need a couple more mugs.
• Shahnaz (8/5): Great stay! - The place was exactly as seen in pictures with all the amenities for a short stay. Cosy and comfortable in a quiet location which is only 20 minutes from the seaside. I would highly recommend and would stay again. Minor improvements: bedroom could do with an update - also had cobwebs and dust at the top. The floor would benefit from a hoover and mop.

Ein großes Kompliment an den/die Besitzer/in, für die liebevolle hübsche Einrichtung. Die Küche bietet alles was man braucht. Das Bett war sehr bequem und es machte uns nichts aus, dass die eine Seite an der Wand steht. Wir sind Anfang 60 und es war absolut kein Problem für uns. Das gesamte Apartment war super sauber. Das Parken in der Straße war einfach und während der 2 Tage immer möglich. es war alles perfekt

• arfa (9/5): I would love to stay here again 👍 - It’s beautiful. The architecture is amazing. It’s small and cozy. The staff has provided everything that is needed. Once you enter u get so welcoming vibes. The outdoor garden is well maintained and is a lovely place to sit and dine. The property seemed to be clean but I was walking bare feet and then I came to know my feet got so dirty because the floor was not mopped properly. There was plenty of hair on the carpet and floor. It would be great if they can put an extra pair of cozy slippers in the house for guest’s use because mostly people bring outdoor shoes only specially who are coming for one night stay. I was expecting to sit outside for dinner in the garden lights but none of the lights were working. The batteries should be changed and the only purpose shouldn’t be of decoration instead they should actually work so one can enjoy the lovely outdoor garden at night time.

Very well catered for. Only being able to access the bed from one side, one side was against the wall. Towels were really small.

The bed was really comfortable and you had all the cooking facilities you needed! I feel like the owners really go above and beyond with this place as it had almost everything you could need, they even supplied bubble bath which I thought was lovely! Overall a very nice stay and if I was coming back to the area I would definitely stay here again :)
