• Agnes (10/5): Fantastic stay at Beach Waves Apartments - We had a fabulous stay at Beach Waves Apartment in Faro. Communication from start to finish was excellent, and we received a very warm welcome on arrival. The apartment was spotless and much larger than expected, with absolutely everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It really felt like a home away from home. It also felt totally secure throughout our stay, which was very reassuring, and I would say it is very suitable for a solo female traveller. The location is ideal—very close to the marina and old town, with plenty of attractions within easy walking distance. There are lots of restaurants, cafés, and small supermarkets nearby, and both the train and bus stations are just a few minutes away, making it very convenient for exploring the wider area. The 11am check-out time was also brilliant and made for a much more relaxed departure. Overall, a fantastic place to stay and we would highly recommend it. I’d definitely go back. Thanks to the fantastic staff! We liked everything.

• Sonja (10/5): A modern, clean and spacious home… - The home was modern, impeccable and so spacious. The host was so gracious and quick in helping us when we needed it. We absolutely loved its location, so central to the train station that we just walked straight to our apt from the depot and also had an easy time navigating to so many restaurants and shops within just a few minute’s walk. It was an absolute perfect stay for us. Being close to the town center, you could hear passerby’s voices at night- but we were visiting during the Christmas holiday, and it was to be expected.
• Myriam (10/5): - L'intérieur est chaleureux et décoré avec goût. Il y a tout l'équipement nécessaire pour être autonomes. C'est propre. La proximité immédiate avec la rue. Nous étions en rez-de-chaussée et la rue semble très fréquentée la nuit avec la proximité de commerces ouverts tardivement ainsi que des cafés, bars et restaurants. Il faudrait peut-être renforcer le double vitrage sur les ouvertures en rez-de-chaussée

• Jörg (7/5): Nice apartment, but noisy during the weekend - This small apartment close to the center is very clean and has everything you need for a happy stay. The bed was excellent. Small positive detail: a non-slip shower mat! I miss this in most baths. Unfortunately, the room was on the ground floor and the windows were not very soundproof. There is a disco 200m away from the place, and on weekends, the street becomes quite noisy (Thursday was fine, but Friday and Saturday were loud). However, what I disliked the most was that we were required by our deposit to bring the trash ourselves to the containers, which were 300m away. For this "self-service", the apartment was far too expensive!

• Raylene (10/5): A hidden gem in Faro - The apartment was spotlessly clean with all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. The rooms were of a good size (not cramped at all). A short walk to the railway station, which was an easy (and flat) walk with luggage. Only a minor criticism, but for a 6 night stay, we would have liked a change-over of towels after 3 nights.

El apartamento era moderno,decorado con mucho gusto.Limpio y cama muy cómoda.También utilizamos el sofá cama y parecía una cama. Al llegar tuvimos un problema con el cajetín de la llave,que no se abría,y en 10 minutos vinieron a traernos otra llave. Al ser una planta baja,las ventanas daban justo a la calle

• Joan (8/5): - Bonito, moderno y nuevo. Decorado con muy buen gusto y limpio. Las instalaciones de la cocina muy bien y adecuadas para pasar unos días (lavadora, horno, nevera...). La piscina que hay es pequeñita pero suficiente para un bañito rápido después de la playa. Podrían mejorar detalles como algún colgador en la entrada, mpara dejar cosas. Tuvimos un tema de hormigas que aparecieron en el apartamento y cabe destacar que intentaron cambiarnos el apartamento pero no pudieron porque estaba todo ocupado. Enviaron a una brigada de limpieza extra.

• Nikki (10/5): Beautiful location, excellent apartment - Very clean and great location . Staff were exceptional and couldn’t be more helpful. The apartment was very well equipped and had everything you could ask for. Couldn’t be helped - as we were at the front of the building it was a bit noisy at nighttime with motorbikes. Out of their control and wouldn’t put us off going back.
• Samantha (9/5): Fabulous stay in a lovely city - The property was extremely spacious and spotlessly clean and the building was gorgeous. The location was great, with bars and restaurants nearby and a mini market next store. The apartment was in the front of the property and on ground floor, so some noise from the street but nothing to worry about. The small pool and sundeck were a brilliant addition and whilst we didn’t use the pool we had a lovely hour or two on the sundeck

• Joel (9/5): Superb - Wonderful location, right in the heart of the town center and train station. The shower drain did not drain very well, and you'll find yourself stepping in your own dirty shower water.
• Ed (7/5): Enjoyable stay in a comfortable and clean apartment. - Good location close to town centre coast and railway station. Spacious and well equipped. Good size bed and bathroom. Our room was on the ground floor and by the roadside. It was noisy and polluted when cars pulled up outside. We were unable to open the curtains for natural light because of lack of privacy from passing pedestrians and traffic.
• Matthew (10/5): Deceptively large apartment with a peaceful atmosphere. Contained all the comforts of home. Newly renovated to a high le - The size of the apartment was very impressive. It was fully equipped throughout. It literally had everything, from an iron to a dishwasher. The air con was built in, and was easy to use and worked really well. Despite being at street level, it was well insulated from external noise. Access was by old fashioned keys, which was nice. The whole complex was renovated to a high standard, while retaining the period features. Is ideal for both short and long term stays. The location was excellent, with both the main centre streets, marina and bus/train stations only a few minutes walk away. Most definitely would return to this place in the future. Nothing at all really to complain about. If anything, having a TV in the bedroom would be good, but not essential.

• Anna (9/5): Excellent place to stay - Mattres is very comfortable, The location is excellent, and it is close to many attractions and restaurants. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The pool Apartment very well equipped. We choose apt B, which is just next to the loud street. Next time, I'd book on the other side with exit to the pool.

• Annette (9/5): Beautiful, clean and spacious appartment in the center of Faro - highly recommend it! - Very beautiful and spacious appartment in the center of Faro with walking distance to all attractions - although directly on the ground floor and next to the street it´s pretty quiet at night. It´s located in a lovely renovated large house (which was a hotel long time ago) with other holiday appartments. The window and handle in the the sleeping room needs some maintenance - you cannot close it as accurately as in the living room. And the clothes drying rack could be renewed (we used it for drying the large towels ;-))

• Mihaela (9/5): Great! - It was spacious, and it's located in the city center so you can easily walk out and find food/ drinks/ music etc. We also had a car rental, and despite the busy parking, we could always find a parking spot nearby the hotel entrance. nothing here.

Comfortable bed good shower , everything first class . Kitchen had everything you need. Hosts very helpful let us store suitcases on check out day.

• Jinjie (9/5): Nice experience. - The location is in the city center, with many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It is not far away from the station and pier. The room is clean and well-equipped. The room is close to the street and it is inconvenient to open the windows.

• Sandra (10/5): Exceptional stay in this beautiful apartment - Beach Waves apartment was perfect for our trip to Faro this summer, as a family of 4. The apartment is clean, spacious, nicely decorated and has all the amenities a tourist might need. It is the best equipped kitchen we've ever seen on a private property (and we've travelled a lot!). The pool outside is a nice addition in hot weather, the kids enjoyed a dip at the end of the day. The location is excellent too. And the host was very friendly and always there to help. If we return to Faro, this would be the property of our choice. -
