• Carol (9/5): Great host. Would stay again. - Host was very easy to deal with. Very prompt in fixing an issue for us, even though it wasn't impacting our stay. Very impressive. Bed was super comfy 😴. Quiet location, on the boardwalk looking at the marina. Welcome Tim Tam's where the best! Had everything we needed. Extra towels for the pool! Bit of a walk in to main town and shops, so if you are not a good walker, suggest getting a car. Whilst the place was not modern, it was clean and comfortable. The bed room cannot be fully shut off from the living space which could be an issue for some. None of these impacted our stay, but just things to note.

• Paul (10/5): Clean well appointed apartment, with fantastic facilities to just unwind and explore the Whitsunday. - The location was amazing no hills to walk up easy to get to and from. Self contained so could cook our meals and sit out on the balcony watching the world go by. The pool was lovely to swim and just sit and relax around. The WIFI was very slow at night as was my phone as it’s in a bit of a dead spot but worked great during the day when no one was around.

Loved all the extra provisions in the kitchen, including milk, bottled chilled water and chocolate biscuits to go with the Vittoria pods for a good coffee. We liked being a little away from the middle of Airlie but it is still close enough to walk there. Excellent cafes and restaurants at the marina. The only thing was kids coming in and out of the pool gate (right outside the room) slamming it. A group of kids must have done that at least 20 times in a matter of 10 minutes at 7am.

• Pani (8/5): Great little getaway apartment. - Comfortable and clean little unit. Great location. Host was reachable and ensured we got into apartment ok. Great service and easy to understand instructions. Cleaners room just outside unit. Cleaners were out early in the morning and voices were echoing through the apartment even with toilet door closed. We didn’t go out to ask them to keep it down although I’m sure they would have. Same can be said being right next to the pool but it closes at 9pm and was quite nice listening to families having fun.
• Michelle (10/5): Best Little Apartment by the Beach - Dianne the host made sure we settled in ok. She even left a bottle of Champagne for us to drink on New Years Eve. Beautiful apartment opposite the pool and was even informed where to watch the sunset in the evenings. The apartment had everything we needed. So many little touches that made it feel like home. Will definitely book again!! Nothing!! We absolutely loved it!!

Lovely swimming pool,underground parking The property is at the end of a cul de sac next to Pinnacle Hotel and coaches do turn round right outside units but didn't interfere with our enjoyment of the unit. Didn't have a view as on ground floor but that didn't bother us.

• Peter (8/5): Very good - The pool and patio are very pleasant. The apartment is well appointed, and with all the consumables we needed. The natural ventilation is poor, and there are no screen doors on the patio. Hence, air conditioning is required almost constantly.

Good location lovely views ; on the whole good extras such as mlik , tea and coffee even tim tams !!! lots of towels , very comfy bed and pillows HA ha !!!!! --- proximity of toilet to bedroom and not sound proof --- Could have done with slightly bigger saucepan or medium size one -- just being picky Shame pool was not at front of building as view of carpark not ideal and did not make you want to lie by pool --- only bad point

• Chang (8/5): Very good - The signal in the room is too bad, the WiFi can not be used, even if you use your own mobile phone traffic, you can not access the Internet, basically in no signal, and it is normal to walk out of the room.

We were in town for a wedding and had a lot of trouble organising plans. The mobile wifi is appreciated however it was poor also. Perhaps an option to pay a small fee to use the Marina Shores wifi would be an option offered to guests who really need phone service during their stay. The room is right next to the cleaners facilities of the hotel. The cleaners were quite noisy and rude to listen to right next to the bedroom. Otherwise the other was lovely and the room clean and modern. The owner had snacks and milk in the fridge which was appreciated. Soap and other toiletries were available in the bathroom.

We felt welcomed. >The bed was very comfortable. >Since our flight was cancelled, the kitchen tools and washing machine was very handy. >Clean and organised. >The wifi was slow. Being stuck indoor due to the weather, we weren't able to watch any movie. >The location was a little far from the main street, but if walking is not a problem for you it's okay because you can enjoy the view while walking. We came when it was rainy season so it was hard to walk, but there's always cab around to call so it was okay in the end.

• Neil (5/5): Disappointed that it was managed by the owner, not the resort - Good location, great pool We did not realise that this unit was not run by the on-site managers, so no access to them or their facilities such as wifi around the resort. The wifi provided in the room was unsatisfactory. The unit had a bad smell of the drains and frankly the mould around the shower and tiles was not acceptable. Bed Linen and towels were hard, needs either replacing or sending our to professional laundry.
• Barry (9/5): Excellent value. Highly recommended. - Great quiet location. It isn't in the general hubub of central Airlie but that is what we like. It was a very pretty and easy walk around the bays and headlands to the central shopping area. Strolling along admiring the views etc took about 30 minutes. Excellent apartment with everything supplied including some special treats! Great value. Highly recommended. None.
• Jana (9/5): We had an amazing stay. Dianne the owner is helpful and sweet providing us some treats and bottled water. We can easily - It is near the beach, good facilities, nice view in the garden area, pool is nice. Water leaks a bit on the toilet floor when showering. Wifi is slow. A bit of a walk going to Airlie main street and Port of Airlie but it is a good exercise.

• Tim (7/5): Good - Location was out or town but right down by the sea with good walks right outside. Had thought we were booking the Marina Sands but it turned out to be a side arrangement with the owner so we were a little on our own. Should Booking.com make this clear at the outset?
