• Shelby (9/5): Great holiday away in a cosy pod - A cosy glamping pod with plenty of space for the two of us with onsite parking. The location was ideal too as it was just a short drive from a lot of other places so never ran out of things to do. Couldn’t figure out the advanced combi microwave settings so only used the hob and standard microwave settings. Maybe a small oven would be better but this didn’t ruin our holiday and was more than likely user error.

• Mary Ruth (10/5): Very comfortable glamping pod. A bit over priced at £500 for just 4 nights (I had splashed out for a treat) considering - Self contained and clean Not enough hooks for clothes. No instructions for the hob and microwave. Nor how to turn on the towel rail. Through trial and error and intelligence I did manage to work out how everything worked though. Double doors were not easy to close and lock, especially for an older person like myself. They definitely need adjustment.

• Sara (9/5): It was a very lovely holiday together with my young child and we will definitely be back. I would possibly suggest more - Very clean and comfortable. Lovely views. My son could peacefully cycled around. Staff was very helpful. Nothing really. Just a tiny inconvenience was I had to report there was cold water only but the staff attended immediately afterwards and resolved the issue. It would possibly be beneficial to consider introducing AC in the Grampians. When we stayed it was particularly hot and we struggled a bit!

• Alexander (7/5): We had a wonderful time. The whisky distilleries were nearby and we visited a few on our free day. - Very clean. What was provided eg bedding, linen, towels, tea and coffee making facilities were all very good. The heating was on when we arrived and was a welcome touch. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The shower and toilet were clean and functional. Mainly lack of storage for clothes and groceries. The TV wasn't working. The fault was repaired the following day. The outside door was difficult to close and lock. Perhaps more clothes hooks and a couple of hangers would help. The price was too expensive. We could have been in a hotel with breakfast included for less money, but it was convenient because my son and family were in a motorhome on the campsite.

• Richard (9/5): Scenic views from a spacious well-appointed cabin, just a short walk to town. - For us the location couldn’t be better and provided us with far more space than we could get at a hotel. The kitchen facilities would have made it easy to make meals, but we did not get that chance this trip. Only about a 10 minute walk to town for shops and groceries. It was quiet, well cared for, and had lovely views. It won’t be for everyone. A self-catering cabin with quiet hours and no on-site food and beverage.

• Richard (9/5): Superb - The accommodation was very clean and well presented and the park itself was very clean. The staff were very helpful as our journey took longer than expected and we arrived late but everything was in hand from the staff

The lapwing pod was equipped with everything we needed and we were very comfortable.. The information booklet about the area gave us a couple of ideas of places to go. In fact we didn't quite cover all we wanted to do, we shall no doubt be returning at some point. Everything was great.

• Sarah (10/5): Perfect spot in Scotland! - The site is absolutely beautiful with well kept grounds! The lapwing we stayed in was beautifully decorated and was spotlessly clean. The service by staff were excellent and they were very helpful. Close to local amenities and for my children the park and the football area were both great. Can’t recommend this site enough if you’re looking for a beautiful location to stay! We wish we could have stayed longer.

No place to store tea, coffee, breakfast cereal etc except on this breakfast bar which leaves little space to eat for two people.

• Keith (10/5): Excellent Peaceful Retreat - Excellent Caravan Park, great location, very well maintained.in first class condition. Caravan park was a short 10 minute walk from the town were there were a decent selection of cafes, bars and restaurants. The Lapwing pod was immaculate and beautifully clean with all the facilities you need for a peaceful break. TV and good no log in WiFi was available which was a bonus as my mobile had a poor signal. The TV had a selection of apps so you could log into your Netflix, Prime or Disney accounts should you wish. The pod provided information on Cairngorms National Park and local walks and also had a picnic table so you could enjoy a glass of wine outside. On arrival the staff were efficient and friendly and we were asked to follow a warden in a golf buggy by car which led us to our accommodation. Fortunately for us the weather was fantastic but I think this would be great regardless. Nothing.

• Helen (9/5): Superb - Our Grandson enjoyed staying in the pod and there was a lot of space outside for him to play. He also had a great time at the play park.
• Conner (4/5): Average - The bed was not fit for use the springs where coming through and it was very uncomfortable to be able to sleep on. Also the bed frame was very wobbly and was unable to move without the bed making noises and shaking and we had to leave early due to these issues
