- Kaelyn (10/5): La Punta’s best kept secret - We had an incredible 5-night stay at Casa Aymara - from the moment we walked in, the property is serenely laid out with quaint aparthotel-style suites and shared pool in the middle. The suite itself was very clean, had great amenities and plenty of little baskets for organizing belongings. From kitchen utensils, hair dryer, A/C, drying rack on balcony, a safe for valuables, drinking water - the list goes on - everything we could think of was provided onsite. While the location is off the main La Punta strip, it’s well-located between Zicatela and easy to walk everywhere. We socialized with some of the other guests and ended up spending a good portion of our vacation hanging out with them. The host, Sergio, also accommodated a late check-out due us having a late night flight, which was really appreciated. I would HIGHLY recommend Casa Aymara to any duo looking for a relaxing, quiet and well-kept stay in La Punta at an unbeatable price. There was nothing we didn’t like! Only feedback is the bath towels were quite dry, crispy feeling and irritated skin a bit, but that’s not a complaint - everything else was perfect.

It wasn’t luxurious but clean with a comfy bed and plenty of amenities supplied. Sergio was great with us and gave us some great recommendations, always very available at any time via WhatsApp. I wouldn’t say this was a luxurious place to stay but rather more on the basic end. However being a property near the beach this is sometimes all you need.

- Regan (10/5): Perfect place to chill 👌 - Casa Aymara is beautiful! Great location on a quiet street, next to the beach and close to lots of cafés, bars and restaurants. The beds are huge and super comfortable. The shower is great, with good water pressure (we were ground floor). Bonus: The pool is bigger than it looks on the photos! We would definitely stay again.

We had an issue with our room and our host was very responsive in making it right. Also, you’re 5 minute walk to the beach for sunset and it’s not as crowded as the main area! There’s a beautiful orange cat (a stray) that hangs around the property, he is the sweetest. I bought wet food to feed him while I stayed as he was a hungry little guy! He made my stay very special :) It’s definitely walking distance to La Punta main strip, it’s at least 15-20 minutes from here to the end of the strip. We had an ATV so it worked out well for us.

- Diego (9/5): Perfect, clean stay when coming to puerto Escondido. - Everything is super clean and accesible, beach is right in front of the villa, motorcycle rentals nearby, as well as beach clubs and restaurants. Perfect location and very clean rooms. Power went out our last day and had no electricity or AC which was tough but that was the only con.

Very convenient to rent a scooter from them. There is hot water. The place is close to the volleyball courts where people go there to play and watch the sunset. It is also about 10-15min walking from La Punta strip.

Llegas a la zona de restaurantes, tiendas y bares de Punta Zicatela en 10 minutos caminando. Playa a 5 minutos caminando. Y está en una zona muy tranquila, para descansar. Viajé en diciembre, que no hacía tanto calor, por lo que pude caminar por todos lados sin necesidad de alquilar vehículo, scooter o cuatrimoto. Aunque está ubicado en una zona muy tranquila, muy en la mañana puedes escuchar el canto de un gallo que para lo que tenemos el sueño ligero, recomiendo lleven tapones para poder descansar adecuadamente.

Hay una caravana abandonada en la puerta del hotel que asusta bastante de noche. 100% no lo recomendaría a mujeres viajando solas. La puerta del hotel nunca está cerrada cualquier persona puede entrar.

La ubicación del hotel me encantó, no estaba encima de la calle principal por lo que no tenía todo ese ruido 24 horas, pero literal quedaba a 5 minutos caminando. A secret highlight were the cats around the property! We have stayed in Punta Zicatela many times, and loved the location. One night we had some noisy neighbours, but it was the exception to a fantastic stay.

Not far from the beach, and not far from restaurants. There was a bit of a petrol smell while sitting in the swimming pool in the morning. The bed was limited by a concrete table, and was a bit too short for me (190). Luckily wide enough to lay down diagonally.

The room was great, clean and organized with everything we needed. Great AC. the pool is nice and cool, very calm vibe. about 6-10 min walk from the main road, and a few min from the beach. Modern and clean property, didn’t feel busy at all (it was the low season though). Very spacious room/studio and the XXL bed is very comfortable. A/C in combination with fan ensures perfect temperature to sleep as this part of Mexico can get extremely hot. Contact with host Sergio was perfect, he’s very quick in replying and goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I was even to have a late check out (1pm) at no extra charge which was really nice. I do understand that’s subject to availability of course. Light above the bed was broken so there was only ‘harsh’ lighting in the room. But that’s only a minor detail.

They also provided free drinking water which is very nice to have on hand at any time stored in an easy location for all the guests to access. Hardly any interaction with any staff and pool could of been cleaner.

- moes (10/5): - Ik vond het heerlijk voor als je alleen op vakantie bent en remote moet werken. De kamer is fijn en het keukentje zorgt ervoor dat je lunch kunt maken. Daar aast was de wifi goed en het was super rustig zodat ik goed kon slapen. De mensen waren enorm aardig en flexibel voor een late check out. Mijn tijd in Puerto was hierdoor super DANK!
- Jeremy (10/5): Great place to stay - The room and hotel itself were awesome. The pool was clean and because it’s so hot the water temperature was perfect. Bed was comfortable. The room had everything you need. A/C isn’t too strong but it’s Mexico you’re there for the heat and good weather. Overall loved it. Like any other place in Mexico, keep your food away so ants don’t go out. Communication could’ve been better when arriving, we arrived and had no idea which room we were as we weren’t told in advance. Luckily we picked the right one without interrupting anyone.

- Charbel (9/5): - The hosts were fantastic. The accommodation was spacious and clean. The location was close enough to la punta but also far enough from the noise. 5 min walk to the beach.
- Jaelle (10/5): I would go back next time I am in the area. - The pool area was super quiet and the roof top palapa had a great view of the sunset and great brezze. Rooms were perfect size and comfortable beds.

El contacto con los anfitriones muy amables me facilitaron en alquiler una moto y cambiar fechas previo aviso. La ubicación por la noche la calle estaba muy oscura caminando a la punta son como 15 minutos, no hay tapete en el baño para secarte los pies al salir de la ducha, no dan agua de cortesia para su precio mínimo dos pequeñas botellas hubiese sido un detalle.. se escucha todo, en la madrugada alas 4am habían personas bañándose y riéndose en la piscina no pude dormir.

- Laura (9/5): Assolutamente consigliato! - Struttura moderna, bella e pulita. Il personale molto disponibile, abbiamo prenotato all’ultimo minuto e ci hanno permesso di fare il check-in alle h21 di sera. Unica pecca il doccino pieno di calcare e il getto dell’acqua non usciva bene.
