Great style and attention to detail with quality fixtures and furnishings. Great bed and shower. Surroundings were a bit noisy until late but realise that’s the con of being so centrally located!!

It’s nicely furnished & has every facility you could wish for on a short stay. The access/exit arrangements were really straightforward & the owners were very helpful & attentive. Not a lot to dislike - the outside temperature was minus 6 during my stay, so whilst getting (& keeping) the apartment warm was a challenge, that would’ve been the case anywhere!

• laurence (10/5): Wonderful and almost magical like location. - Fantastic central town location with a superb roofscape from the windows. Nowhere to park nearby other than quite expensive car parks. However this is kind of expected with such a central town location and actually makes the place all the nicer to be predominantly pedestrianised.

• Emma (10/5): Would definitely stay again! - Great stay in Kendal! Very central apartment, and near the high street. Apartment was very clean and stocked with fresh milk, biscuits and tea/coffee. Would definitely stay again. Public car park only a few minutes walk away, easy to get too. Hosts easy to contact and reply quickly if any problems, not that we had any. Stairs into the property were quite steep and narrow, so maybe not suitable if you struggle with steps. No issues for us. Full apartment upstairs so didn’t need to go up and down unless going out.

• Edgardo (10/5): - It is a large modern studio, very well equipped, situated in the centre of town. It is a quiet place and had everything you need to enjoy a nice holiday. We enjoyed the wide selection of tea and coffee and delicious lemon biscuits that welcomed us.

Right in the centre of town and tucked away from the main road so beautifully quiet. Amenities inside the apartment were to a very high standard. Would thoroughly recommend. 🤗 Everything. • Katie Steckles (9/5): Nice little spot in a great location with good facilities - Great location in the centre of Kendal, and a lovely little cosy flat with great facilities, which was very clean and had everything we needed. The sofa was a little small, and the stairs to get up to the flat (first floor) were a bit steep.

• Jackie (10/5): Wonderful! - Fabulous apartment in a lovely little street in town. Beautifully decorated and everything was immaculate. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in! Louise was a fantastic host - prompt communication (even though we booked last minute), detailed instructions about parking, milk and biscuits left for us on arrival. We couldn’t recommend this apartment enough. Nothing.

Hosts had kindly stocked with coffee and tea options and put fresh milk in the fridge. A superb little spot when staying in Kendal. Super central. All in all a great experience :) Slight trek from town carpark with heavy bags but worth it nonetheless.

• Glen (8/5): Nice apartment. I would stay here again. - The property was clean, bed really comfortable, bedsheets smelled lovely. Didn’t really use the kitchen other than the kettle, but again everything was clean and well arranged. If I was an elderly person I would have found the entrance hall and stairs small and awkward. The bathroom was also on the small side.

The accommodation was well equipped and we enjoyed the location of being near shops etc maybe a folder in the room with explanation of recycling and operation of the cooker etc but that was not a dislike only a suggestion to make live easier.

Thank you Louise and see you again soon! - I have just returned from the most lovely 3 night stay in this beautiful apartment whilst visiting friends and family who live in Kendal. Everything in this apartment is of a very high standard and quality. It has a modern and luxurious feel yet at the same time has lots of character and feels very homely which was perfect for my visit. It was spotlessly clean with a super bathroom, a fantastic shower and a great kitchen that had everything you could possibly need in it. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the apartment had areas for relaxing as well as a dressing area which I found extremely helpful. Although it is a studio apartment it is very spacious and is full of light from the pretty windows. I enjoyed looking at the shambles street and colourful old houses below that have been converted into beautiful art and craft shops. It was a joy to return to the apartment throughout my daily activities and as it is positioned centrally in the old town area it was a perfect place to stay. The shops, cafes, bars and lovely pubs are just minutes walk away and I often popped out very early in the morning to grab a breakfast or a coffee before returning back to organise myself for the day ahead. It was also a great location to meet family and friends in town during the evenings too for drinks in the pubs or meals out. Louise was always available and so helpful, kind and welcoming. She was able and willing to help me with an earlier check in time as I had arrived from my home in Italy with many suitcases as on this occasion my visit was due to a family bereavement. I cannot recommend a stay at this apartment highly enough and I am very much looking forward to staying there again when I next return to Kendal. There was nothing to dislike at all. It was all wonderful.

• Julie (9/5): Lovely stay in a beautifully renovated cosy apartment - Beautifully furnished and is recently renovated, great decor and very comfortable and quaint. Would recommend. Nothing at all. The only thing I would point out for anyone whois a light sleeper, it can get noisy over the weekend period. The property is situate in a lovely area, with colourful shops etc but is a cut through from other pubs and bars and can be loud at times. For me personally, I am a very deep sleeper and after long hikes and walks was sound asleep, so not affected. Other than that a perfect place to stay.

• Denise (8/5): Short break to visit family - Had everything we needed in a compact space , all areas utilised well . Very nicely decorated and furnished and a comfortable bed . Its very central location meant it was near local pubs and there was loud music playing ‘till very late on the Saturday night .All quiet on the Sunday .

The apartment has everything you will need for a stay and it is very modernly renovated. The kitchen is great and the bed is super comfortable. The smart TV is a great addition and the wifi is pretty quick. A bit noisy especially on the weekends as it's close to bars and pubs. No parking available. But expected given the central location.
